طٰسٓمّٓ‏ ١

Ta'. Sin. Mim.

Taa seen Meem

تِلۡكَ اٰيٰتُ الۡكِتٰبِ الۡمُبِيۡنِ‏ ٢

These are the verses of the Clear Book.

Yeh kitaab e Mubeen ki aayat hain

لَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّـفۡسَكَ اَلَّا يَكُوۡنُوۡا مُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏ ٣

(O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe.

(Aey Muhammad), shayad tum is gham (grief) mein apni jaan kho dogey ke yeh log iman nahin latey

اِنۡ نَّشَاۡ نُنَزِّلۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ اٰيَةً فَظَلَّتۡ اَعۡنَاقُهُمۡ لَهَا خٰضِعِيۡنَ‏ ٤

If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it.

Hum chahein to aasmaan se aisi nishani nazil kar sakte hain ke inki gardanein iske aagey jhuk jayein

وَمَا يَاۡتِيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡ ذِكۡرٍ مِّنَ الرَّحۡمٰنِ مُحۡدَثٍ اِلَّا كَانُوۡا عَنۡهُ مُعۡرِضِيۡنَ‏ ٥

Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it.

In logon ke paas rehman ki taraf se jo nayi naseehat bhi aati hai yeh ussey mooh moad letey hain

فَقَدۡ كَذَّبُوۡا فَسَيَاۡتِيۡهِمۡ اَنۡۢـبٰٓــؤُا مَا كَانُوۡا بِهٖ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُوۡنَ‏  ٦

They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at.

Ab ke yeh jhutla chuke hain, ankareeb inko is cheez ki haqeeqat (mukhtalif tareeqon se) maloom ho jayegi jiska yeh mazaak udatay rahey hain

اَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡا اِلَى الۡاَرۡضِ كَمۡ اَنۡۢبَتۡنَا فِيۡهَا مِنۡ كُلِّ زَوۡجٍ كَرِيۡمٍ‏ ٧

Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)?

Aur kya inhon ne kabhi zameen par nigaah nahin daali ke humne kitni kaseer miqdaar mein har tarah ki umdah nabataat(vegetation) ismein paida ki hain

اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَاٰيَةً​  ؕ وَّمَا كَانَ اَكۡثَرُهُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏ ٨

Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe.

Yaqeenen ismein ek nishani hai, magar in mein se aksar maanne waley nahin

وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الرَّحِيۡمُ‏ ٩

Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate.

Aur haqeeqat yeh hai ke tera Rubb zabardast bhi hai aur raheem bhi

وَاِذۡ نَادٰى رَبُّكَ مُوۡسٰۤى اَنِ ائۡتِ الۡقَوۡمَ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَۙ‏ ١٠

(Recount to them about the time) when Your Lord called Moses: "Go to the wrong-doing people,

Inhein us waqt ka qissa sunao jabke tumhare Rubb ne Moosa ko pukara “ zaalim qaum ke paas jaa

قَوۡمَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ​ؕ اَلَا يَتَّقُوۡنَ​‏ ١١

the people of Pharaoh: do they have no fear?"

Firoun ki qaum ke paas, kya woh nahin darte?”

قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّىۡۤ اَخَافُ اَنۡ يُّكَذِّبُوۡنِؕ‏ ١٢

He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar.

Usne arz kiya “aey Rubb, mujhey khauf hai ke woh mujhey jhutla dengey

وَيَضِيۡقُ صَدۡرِىۡ وَلَا يَنۡطَلِقُ لِسَانِىۡ فَاَرۡسِلۡ اِلٰى هٰرُوۡنَ‏  ١٣

My breast is constricted and my tongue is not fluent, so endow Messengership on Aaron.

Mera seena ghutt-ta hai aur meri zubaan nahin chalti, aap Haroon ki taraf risalat bhejein

وَلَهُمۡ عَلَىَّ ذَنۡۢبٌ فَاَخَافُ اَنۡ يَّقۡتُلُوۡنِ​ۚ‏ ١٤

As for me, they hold the charge of a crime against me. I fear they will put me to death."

Aur mujhpar unke haan ek jurm ka ilzam bhi hai, is liye main darta hoon ke woh mujhey qatal kar dengey”

قَالَ كَلَّا​ ۚ فَاذۡهَبَا بِاٰيٰتِنَآ​ اِنَّا مَعَكُمۡ مُّسۡتَمِعُوۡنَ‏  ١٥

He said: "Certainly not! So go both of you with Our Signs. We shall be with you listening to everything.

Farmaya “hargiz nahin, tum dono jao hamari nishaniyan lekar, hum tumhare saath sab kuch suntey rahenge

فَاۡتِيَا فِرۡعَوۡنَ فَقُوۡلَاۤ اِنَّا رَسُوۡلُ رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ‏ ١٦

Go, then, to Pharaoh and say to him: 'The Lord of the Universe has sent us

Firoun ke paas jao aur ussey kaho, humko Rubb ul aalameen ne isliye bheja hai

اَنۡ اَرۡسِلۡ مَعَنَا بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ ؕ‏ ١٧

that you let the Children of Israel go with us.'"

Ke tu bani Israel ko hamare saath janey de”

قَالَ اَلَمۡ نُرَبِّكَ فِيۡنَا وَلِيۡدًا وَّلَبِثۡتَ فِيۡنَا مِنۡ عُمُرِكَ سِنِيۡنَۙ‏ ١٨

Pharaoh said: "Did we not bring you up among us when you were a child?

Firoun ne kaha “kya humne tujhko apne haan baccha sa nahin paala tha? Tu nay apni umar ke kai saal hamare haan guzare

وَفَعَلۡتَ فَعۡلَتَكَ الَّتِىۡ فَعَلۡتَ وَاَنۡتَ مِنَ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ‏ ١٩

You spent many years of your life among us and then you committed that deed of yours. You are very ungrateful indeed."

Aur iske baad kar gaya jo kuch ke kar gaya, tu bada ehsan faramosh aadmi hai”

قَالَ فَعَلۡتُهَاۤ اِذًا وَّاَنَا مِنَ الضَّآلِّيۡنَؕ‏ ٢٠

Moses replied: "I committed that act erringly.

Moosa ne jawab diya “us waqt woh kaam maine nadanishtagi (inadvertently) mein kardiya tha

فَفَرَرۡتُ مِنۡكُمۡ لَمَّا خِفۡتُكُمۡ فَوَهَبَ لِىۡ رَبِّىۡ حُكۡمًا وَّجَعَلَنِىۡ مِنَ الۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَ‏ ٢١

Then I fled for fear of you. Then my Lord bestowed wisdom and authority on me and made me one of the Messengers.

Phir main tumhare khauf se bhaag gaya. Iske baad mere Rubb ne mujhko hukum ata kiya aur mujhey Rasoolon mein shamil farma liya

وَتِلۡكَ نِعۡمَةٌ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَىَّ اَنۡ عَبَّدْتَّ بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ ؕ‏ ٢٢

Now this is the favour that you tauntingly remind me of: that you enslaved the Children of Israel!"

Raha tera ehsan jo tu nay mujhpar jataya hai to iski haqeeqat yeh hai ke tu nay bani Israel ko ghulaam bana liya tha”

قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَمَا رَبُّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَؕ‏ ٢٣

Pharaoh said: "And who is this Lord of the Universe?"

Firoun ne kaha “aur yeh Rubb-ul-Aalameen kya hota hai?”

قَالَ رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَاؕ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ مُّوۡقِنِيۡنَ‏  ٢٤

Moses answered: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, if you were only to believe."

Moosa ne jawab diya “Aasmano aur zameen ka Rubb, aur un sab cheezon ka Rubb jo aasmaan o zameen ke darmiyan hain, agar tum yaqeen laney waley ho.”

قَالَ لِمَنۡ حَوۡلَهٗۤ اَلَا تَسۡتَمِعُوۡنَ‏ ٢٥

Pharaoh said to those around him: "Do you hear (what he says)?"

Firoun ne apne gird o pesh ke logon se kaha ‘Sunte ho?”

قَالَ رَبُّكُمۡ وَرَبُّ اٰبَآٮِٕكُمُ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ‏ ٢٦

Moses said: "(He is) Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers of yore."

Moosa ne kaha, “tumhara Rubb bhi aur tumhare un aabaa o ajdaad ka Rubb bhi jo guzar chuke hain”

قَالَ اِنَّ رَسُوۡلَـكُمُ الَّذِىۡۤ اُرۡسِلَ اِلَيۡكُمۡ لَمَجۡنُوۡنٌ‏ ٢٧

Pharaoh said to the audience: "This Messenger of yours who has been sent to you is simply mad."

Firoun ne ( haazirin se) kaha “ tumhare yeh Rasool sahib jo tumhari taraf bhejey gaye hain, bilkul hi pagal maloom hotay hain”

قَالَ رَبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقِ وَالۡمَغۡرِبِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ؕ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ‏  ٢٨

Moses continued: "(He is) the Lord of the east and the west, and all between them. If you only had any understanding!"

Moosa ne kaha “mashriq o magrib aur jo kuch inke darmiyan hai sabka Rubb, agar aap log kuch aqal rakhte hain”

قَالَ لَٮِٕنِ اتَّخَذۡتَ اِلٰهًا غَيۡرِىۡ لَاَجۡعَلَـنَّكَ مِنَ الۡمَسۡجُوۡنِيۡنَ‏  ٢٩

Pharaoh said: "If you take any god other than me, I will certainly make you one of those (who are rotting) in prison."

Firoun ne kaha “ agar tu nay mere siwa kisi aur ko mabood maana to tujhey main un logon mein shamil kardunga jo qaid khano mein paday saddh(rotting) rahey hain”

قَالَ اَوَلَوۡ جِئۡتُكَ بِشَىۡءٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ​ۚ‏ ٣٠

Moses said: "Even if I were to bring a Clear Sign to you?"

Moosa ne kaha “Agarche main le aaon tere saamne ek sareeh cheez bhi?”

قَالَ فَاۡتِ بِهٖۤ اِنۡ كُنۡتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيۡنَ‏ ٣١

Pharaoh said: "Then bring it if you are truthful at all."

Firoun ne kaha “Accha to le aa agar tu saccha hai”

​فَاَ لۡقٰى عَصَاهُ فَاِذَا هِىَ ثُعۡبَانٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ​ ۖ ​​ۚ‏ ٣٢

(No sooner had he said this than) Moses threw down his rod and behold, it was a veritable serpent,

(Uski zubaan se yeh baat nikalte hi) Moosa ne apna asa (staff) phenka aur yakayak woh ek sareeh azdha (serpant/snake) tha

وَّنَزَعَ يَدَهٗ فَاِذَا هِىَ بَيۡضَآءُ لِلنّٰظِرِيۡنَ‏ ٣٣

and he drew his hand (out of his armpit) and lo! it had become a shining object to the beholders.

Phir usne apna hath (bagal se) khincha aur wo sab dekne walon ke saamne chamak raha tha

قَالَ لِلۡمَلَاِ حَوۡلَهٗۤ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَسٰحِرٌ عَلِيۡمٌۙ‏ ٣٤

Pharaoh said to the nobles around him: "Surely this man is a skilled magician

Firoun apne gird o pesh ke sardaron se bola “yeh shaks yaqeenan ek maahir jaadugar hai

يُّرِيۡدُ اَنۡ يُّخۡرِجَكُمۡ مِّنۡ اَرۡضِكُمۡ بِسِحۡرِهٖ ​ۖ  فَمَاذَا تَاۡمُرُوۡنَ​‏  ٣٥

who wants to drive you out of your land by his magic. Tell us, what do you advise us?"

Chahta hai ke apne jaadu ke zoar se tumko tumhare mulk se nikal de, ab tum batao tum kya hukum dete ho?”

قَالُوۡۤا اَرۡجِهۡ وَاَخَاهُ وَابۡعَثۡ فِى الۡمَدَآٮِٕنِ حٰشِرِيۡنَۙ‏ ٣٦

They said: "Detain him and his brother for a while and send forth heralds to the cities

Unhon ne kaha “ isey aur iske bhai ko rok lijiye aur shehron mein harkare (heralds) bhej dijiye

يَاۡتُوۡكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيۡمٍ‏ ٣٧

to mobilise all skilled magicians."

Ke har siyane jaadugar ko aapke paas le aayein”

فَجُمِعَ السَّحَرَةُ لِمِيۡقَاتِ يَوۡمٍ مَّعۡلُوۡمٍۙ‏ ٣٨

So the magicians were brought together on a particular day at a set time

Chunanchey ek roz muqarrar waqt par jaadugar ikatthey karliye gaye

وَّقِيۡلَ لِلنَّاسِ هَلۡ اَنۡـتُمۡ مُّجۡتَمِعُوۡنَۙ‏ ٣٩

and the people were told: "Will you join the assembly?

Aur logon se kaha gaya “tum ijtima mein chaloge

لَعَلَّنَا نَـتَّبِعُ السَّحَرَةَ اِنۡ كَانُوۡا هُمُ الۡغٰلِبِيۡنَ‏ ٤٠

We may perhaps follow the religion of the magicians if they triumph."

Shayad ke hum jaadugaron ke deen hi par reh jayein agar woh gaalib rahey”

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ السَّحَرَةُ قَالُوۡا لِفِرۡعَوۡنَ اَٮِٕنَّ لَـنَا لَاَجۡرًا اِنۡ كُنَّا نَحۡنُ الۡغٰلِبِيۡنَ‏ ٤١

When the magicians came forth (for the encounter) they said to Pharaoh: "Is there a reward for us if we triumph?"

Jab jaadugar maidan mein aa gaye to unhon ne Firoun se kaha “humein inaam to milega agar hum gaalib rahey?”

قَالَ نَعَمۡ وَاِنَّكُمۡ اِذًا لَّمِنَ الۡمُقَرَّبِيۡنَ‏ ٤٢

He said: "Yes, you will then become those near-stationed to me."

Usne kaha “ haan, aur tum to us waqt muqarrabeen (nearest to me) mein shamil ho jaogey”

قَالَ لَهُمۡ مُّوۡسٰۤى اَلۡقُوۡا مَاۤ اَنۡتُمۡ مُّلۡقُوۡنَ‏ ٤٣

Moses said to them: "Throw down whatever you wish to throw."

Moosa ne kaha “ phenko jo tumhein phenkna hai”

فَاَلۡقَوۡا حِبَالَهُمۡ وَعِصِيَّهُمۡ وَقَالُوۡا بِعِزَّةِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ اِنَّا لَـنَحۡنُ الۡغٰلِبُوۡنَ‏ ٤٤

Thereupon they threw down their ropes and their rods, and said: "By the glory of Pharaoh, we shall prevail."

Unhon ne fawran apni rassiyan aur laathiyan phenk di aur bole “ Firoun ke iqbal se hum hi gaalib rahenge.”

فَاَ لۡقٰى مُوۡسٰى عَصَاهُ فَاِذَا هِىَ تَلۡقَفُ مَا يَاۡفِكُوۡنَ​ ۖ ​ۚ‏ ٤٥

Thereafter, Moses threw down his rod and behold, it went about swallowing up all the false devices they had contrived.

Phir Moosa ne apna asa (staff) phenka to yakayak woh unke jhootey karishmon ko hadap karta chala ja raha tha

فَاُلۡقِىَ السَّحَرَةُ سٰجِدِيۡنَۙ‏ ٤٦

Thereupon the magicians fell down in prostration,

Ispar sarey jaadugar be-ikhtiyar sajde mein gir paday

قَالُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ‏ ٤٧

saying: "We (now) believe in the Lord of the Universe,

Aur bol uthey ke “ maan gaye hum Rubb-ul-Aalameen ko

رَبِّ مُوۡسٰى وَهٰرُوۡنَ‏ ٤٨

the Lord of Moses and Aaron."

Moosa aur Haroon ke Rubb ko”

قَالَ اٰمَنۡتُمۡ لَهٗ قَبۡلَ اَنۡ اٰذَنَ لَـكُمۡ​ۚ اِنَّهٗ لَـكَبِيۡرُكُمُ الَّذِىۡ عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحۡرَ​ۚ فَلَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ۙ لَاُقَطِّعَنَّ اَيۡدِيَكُمۡ وَاَرۡجُلَـكُمۡ مِّنۡ خِلَافٍ وَّلَاُصَلِّبَنَّكُمۡ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَ​ۚ‏ ٤٩

Pharaoh said: "You accepted the word of Moses even before I granted you the leave to do so. Surely he is your chief who has taught you magic. Soon shall you come to know. I shall cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides and shall crucify all of you."

Firoun ne kaha “tum Moosa ki baat maan gaye qabl iske ke main tumhein ijazat deta! Zaroor yeh tumhara bada hai jisne tumhein jaadu sikhaya hai. Accha, abhi tumhein maloom hua jaata hai, main tumhare haath paon mukhalif simton (opposite sides) mein katwaunga aur tum sabko sooli (crucify) chadha dunga”

قَالُوۡا لَا ضَيۡرَ​ اِنَّاۤ اِلٰى رَبِّنَا مُنۡقَلِبُوۡنَ​ۚ‏ ٥٠

They said: "We do not care, for we are bound to return to our Lord,

Unhon ne jawab diya “kuch parwah nahin, hum apne Rubb ke huzur pahunch jayenge

اِنَّا نَطۡمَعُ اَنۡ يَّغۡفِرَ لَـنَا رَبُّنَا خَطٰيٰـنَاۤ اَنۡ كُنَّاۤ اَوَّلَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَؕ‏ ٥١

and we surely expect that Our Lord will forgive us our sins for we are the first ones to believe."

Aur humein tawaqqu hai ke hamara Rubb hamare gunaah maaf kardega kyunke sabse pehle hum iman laye hain”

وَاَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلٰى مُوۡسٰٓى اَنۡ اَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِىۡۤ اِنَّكُمۡ مُّتَّبَعُوۡنَ‏  ٥٢

We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued."

Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops)

Ispar Firoun ne (Faujein jama karne ke liye) shehron mein naqeeb (heralds) bhej diye

اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ لَشِرۡذِمَةٌ قَلِيۡلُوۡنَۙ‏ ٥٤

saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people

وَاِنَّهُمۡ لَـنَا لَـغَآٮِٕظُوۡنَۙ‏ ٥٥

who have certainly provoked our wrath.

Aur inhon ne humko bahut naraaz kiya hai

وَاِنَّا لَجَمِيۡعٌ حٰذِرُوۡنَؕ‏ ٥٦

But we are a numerous host, ever on guard."

Aur hum ek aisi jamaat hain jiska shewa har waqt chokanna rehna hai”

فَاَخۡرَجۡنٰهُمۡ مِّنۡ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوۡنٍۙ‏ ٥٧

Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs

Is tarah hum unhein unke baaghon aur chashmon (water –springs)

وَّكُنُوۡزٍ وَّمَقَامٍ كَرِيۡمٍۙ‏ ٥٨

and their treasures and excellent dwellings.

Aur khazano aur unki behtareen qayam-gaahon se nikal laaye

كَذٰلِكَؕ وَاَوۡرَثۡنٰهَا بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَؕ‏ ٥٩

This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties.

At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them

and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!"

Jab dono girohon ka aamna saamna hua to Moosa ke saathi cheekh utthey ke “ hum to pakde gaye”

قَالَ كَلَّا​​ ۚ اِنَّ مَعِىَ رَبِّىۡ سَيَهۡدِيۡنِ‏ ٦٢

Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me."

فَاَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلٰى مُوۡسٰٓى اَنِ اضۡرِبْ بِّعَصَاكَ الۡبَحۡرَ​ؕ فَانْفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرۡقٍ كَالطَّوۡدِ الۡعَظِيۡمِ​ۚ‏ ٦٣

Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount.

Humne Moosa ko wahee ke zariye se hukum diya ke “maar apna asa (staff) samandar par” yakayak samandar pahtt gaya aur uska har tukda ek azeem o shaan pahad ki tarah ho gaya

وَاَزۡلَـفۡنَا ثَمَّ الۡاٰخَرِيۡنَ​ۚ‏ ٦٤

We also brought the other party close to the same spot,

وَاَنۡجَيۡنَا مُوۡسٰى وَمَنۡ مَّعَهٗۤ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَ​ۚ‏ ٦٥

and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them,

Moosa aur un sab logon ko jo uske saath thay humne bacha liya

ثُمَّ اَغۡرَقۡنَا الۡاٰخَرِيۡنَ​ؕ‏ ٦٦

then We drowned the others.

Aur dusron ko garq (duba/drown) kardiya

اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَاَيَةً ​ ؕ وَمَا كَانَ اَكۡثَرُهُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏ ٦٧

Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe.

Is waqiye mein ek nishani hai, magar in logon mein se aksar manney waley nahin hain

وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الرَّحِيۡمُ‏ ٦٨

Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate.

Aur haqeeqat yeh hai ke tera Rubb zabardast bhi hai aur raheem bhi

And recount to them the story of Abraham:

اِذۡ قَالَ لِاَبِيۡهِ وَقَوۡمِهٖ مَا تَعۡبُدُوۡنَ‏ ٧٠

when he asked his father and his people: "What do you worship?"

Jabke usne apne baap aur apni qaum se pucha tha ke “yeh kya cheezein hain jinko tum poojhte ho?”

قَالُوۡا نَـعۡبُدُ اَصۡنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عٰكِفِيۡنَ‏ ٧١

They answered: "There are some idols that we worship and are devoted to them with constancy."

Unhon ne jawab diya “ kuch buth (idols/murtiyan) hain jinki hum pooja karte hain aur inhi ki sewa mein hum lagey rehte hain”

قَالَ هَلۡ يَسۡمَعُوۡنَكُمۡ اِذۡ تَدۡعُوۡنَۙ‏ ٧٢

He asked: "Do they hear you when you call them

Usne pucha “kya yeh tumhari sunte hain jab tum inhein pukarte ho

اَوۡ يَنۡفَعُوۡنَكُمۡ اَوۡ يَضُرُّوۡنَ‏ ٧٣

or do they cause you any benefit or harm?"

Ya yeh tumhein kuch nafaa ya nuqsaan pahunchate hain?”

قَالُوۡا بَلۡ وَجَدۡنَاۤ اٰبَآءَنَا كَذٰلِكَ يَفۡعَلُوۡنَ‏ ٧٤

They answered: "No; but we found our forefathers doing so."

Unhon ne jawab diya “ nahin , balke humne apne baap dada ko aisa hi karte paya hai”

قَالَ اَفَرَءَيۡتُمۡ مَّا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡبُدُوۡنَۙ‏ ٧٥

Thereupon, Abraham said: "Have you seen (with your eyes) those whom you have been worshipping,

Ispar Ibrahim ne kaha “ kabhi tumne (aankhein khol kar) un cheezon ko dekha bhi jinki bandagi tum

you and your forefathers of yore?

فَاِنَّهُمۡ عَدُوٌّ لِّىۡۤ اِلَّا رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ‏ ٧٧

They are all enemies to me; all, except the Lord of the Universe

Mere to yeh sab dushman hain, bajuz ek Rubb ul aalameen ke

الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَنِىۡ فَهُوَ يَهۡدِيۡنِۙ‏ ٧٨

Who created me and Who guides me;

Jisne mujhey paida kiya, phir wahi meri rehnumayi farmata hai

وَ الَّذِىۡ هُوَ يُطۡعِمُنِىۡ وَيَسۡقِيۡنِۙ‏ ٧٩

Who gives me food and drink,

Jo mujhey khilata aur pilata hai

وَاِذَا مَرِضۡتُ فَهُوَ يَشۡفِيۡنِ ۙ‏ ٨٠

and Who, when I am ill, heals me;

Aur jab main bimar ho jaata hoon to wahi mujhey shifa deta hai

وَالَّذِىۡ يُمِيۡتُنِىۡ ثُمَّ يُحۡيِيۡنِۙ‏ ٨١

Who will cause me to die and then will again restore me to life;

Jo mujhey maut dega aur phir dobara mujhko zindagi bakshega

وَالَّذِىۡۤ اَطۡمَعُ اَنۡ يَّغۡفِرَ لِىۡ خَطِٓیْــَٔـتِىۡ يَوۡمَ الدِّيۡنِ ؕ‏ ٨٢

Who, I hope, will forgive me my sins on the Day of Judgement."

Aur jissey main umeed rakhta hoon ke roz e jaza mein woh meri khata maaf farmadega”

رَبِّ هَبۡ لِىۡ حُكۡمًا وَّاَلۡحِقۡنِىۡ بِالصّٰلِحِيۡنَۙ‏ ٨٣

(And then Abraham prayed): "My Lord, endow me with knowledge and wisdom and join me with the righteous,

(iske baad Ibrahim ne dua ki) “Aey mere Rubb, mujhey hukum ata kar aur mujhko salihon (neik logon) ke saath mila

وَاجۡعَلْ لِّىۡ لِسَانَ صِدۡقٍ فِى الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَۙ‏ ٨٤

and grant me an honourable reputation among posterity,

Aur baad ke aane walon mein mujhko sacchi naamwari ata kar

وَاجۡعَلۡنِىۡ مِنۡ وَّرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيۡمِۙ‏ ٨٥

and make me of those who will inherit the Garden of Bliss,

Aur mujhey jannat e naeem ke warison (inheritors) mein shamil farma

وَاغۡفِرۡ لِاَبِىۡۤ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّآلِّيۡنَۙ‏ ٨٦

and forgive my father for he is among those who strayed,

Aur mere baap ko maaf karde ke beshak woh gumraah logon mein se hai

وَلَا تُخۡزِنِىۡ يَوۡمَ يُبۡعَثُوۡنَۙ‏ ٨٧

and disgrace me not on the Day when people will be raised to life,

Aur mujhey us din ruswa na kar jabke sab log zinda karke uthaye jayenge

يَوۡمَ لَا يَنۡفَعُ مَالٌ وَّلَا بَنُوۡنَۙ‏ ٨٨

the Day when nothing will avail, neither wealth nor offspring,

Jabke na maal koi faiyda dega na Aulad

اِلَّا مَنۡ اَتَى اللّٰهَ بِقَلۡبٍ سَلِيۡمٍؕ‏ ٨٩

but only he that brings to Allah a sound heart will (attain to success)."

Bajuz iske ke koi shaks qalb-e-saleem (sound heart) liye huey Allah ke huzur haazir ho”

وَاُزۡلِفَتِ الۡجَـنَّةُ لِلۡمُتَّقِيۡنَۙ‏ ٩٠

(On that Day)the Garden will be brought near to the God-fearing,

(Us roz) jannat parheizgaaron ke qareeb le aayi jayegi

وَبُرِّزَتِ الۡجَحِيۡمُ لِلۡغٰوِيۡنَۙ‏ ٩١

and the Fire will be uncovered for those who strayed,

Aur dozakh behke huey logon ke saamne khol di jayegi

وَقِيۡلَ لَهُمۡ اَيۡنَمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡبُدُوۡنَۙ‏ ٩٢

and they will be asked: "Where are the gods that you worshipped

Aur unsey pucha jayega ke “ab kahan hai woh jinki tum khuda ko chodh kar ibadat karte thay

مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِؕ هَلۡ يَنۡصُرُوۡنَكُمۡ اَوۡ يَنۡتَصِرُوۡنَؕ‏ ٩٣

beside Allah? Can they be of any help to you, or even be of any help to themselves?"

Kya woh tumhari kuch madad kar rahey hain ya khud apna bachao kar sakte hain?”

فَكُبۡكِبُوۡا فِيۡهَا هُمۡ وَالۡغَاوٗنَۙ‏ ٩٤

Then the idols and those who strayed will be hurled into the Fire headlong, one upon another,

Phir woh mabood aur yeh behke huey log

وَجُنُوۡدُ اِبۡلِيۡسَ اَجۡمَعُوۡنَؕ‏ ٩٥

and so too the hosts of Iblis, all of them.

Aur Iblis ke lashkar sabke sab ismein upar taley dhakeil diye jayenge

قَالُوۡا وَهُمۡ فِيۡهَا يَخۡتَصِمُوۡنَۙ‏ ٩٦

There they will quarrel with one another and the erring ones will say (to their deities):

Wahan yeh sab aapas mein jhagdenge aur yeh behke huey log (apne maboodon se) kahenge

تَاللّٰهِ اِنۡ كُنَّا لَفِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍۙ‏ ٩٧

"By Allah, we were surely in clear error

Ke “khuda ki kasam , hum to sareeh gumraahi mein mubtala thay

اِذۡ نُسَوِّيۡكُمۡ بِرَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ‏ ٩٨

when we assigned to you a position equal to that of the Lord of the Universe.

Jabke tumko Rubb ul Aalameen ki barabari ka darja de rahey thay

وَمَاۤ اَضَلَّنَاۤ اِلَّا الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ‏ ٩٩

It is none but those steeped in guilt who led us into this error,

Aur woh mujrim log hi thay jinhon ne humko is gumraahi mein dala

فَمَا لَـنَا مِنۡ شٰفِعِيۡنَۙ‏ ١٠٠

and now we have none to intercede on our behalf,

Ab na hamara koi sifarishi hai

وَلَا صَدِيۡقٍ حَمِيۡمٍ‏ ١٠١

nor do we have a truly sincere friend.

Aur na koi jigri dost

فَلَوۡ اَنَّ لَـنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏ ١٠٢

If only we could return we would be among the believers."

Kaash humein ek dafa phir palatne ka mauqa mil jaye to hum momin hon”

اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَاٰيَةً​  ؕ وَّمَا كَانَ اَكۡثَرُهُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏ ١٠٣

Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear?

Yaad karo jabke unke bhai Nooh ne unsey kaha tha “kya tum darte nahin ho

اِنِّىۡ لَـكُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌ اَمِيۡنٌۙ‏ ١٠٧

I am a trustworthy Messenger to you;

فَاتَّقُوۡا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِيۡعُوۡنِ​ۚ‏ ١٠٨

so fear Allah and obey me.

Lihaza tum Allah se daro aur meri itaat karo

وَمَاۤ اَسۡـــَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ​ۚ اِنۡ اَجۡرِىَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ​ۚ‏ ١٠٩

I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe.

Main is kaam par tumse kisi ajar ka talib nahin hoon, mera ajar to Rabbul Aalameen ke zimme hai

So fear Allah and obey me."

They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?"

Unhon ne jawab diya “kya hum tujhey maan lein halaanke teri pairwi razil-tareen (lowest/meanest) logon ne ikhtiyar ki hai?”

قَالَ وَمَا عِلۡمِىۡ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ​ۚ‏ ١١٢

Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds?

Nooh ne kaha “main kya jaanu ke unke amal kaise hain

اِنۡ حِسَابُهُمۡ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّىۡ​ لَوۡ تَشۡعُرُوۡنَ​ۚ‏ ١١٣

It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding!

Unka hisaab to mere Rubb ke zimme hai, kaash tum kuch shaoor se kaam lo

وَمَاۤ اَنَا بِطَارِدِ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ​ۚ‏ ١١٤

It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe.

اِنۡ اَنَا اِلَّا نَذِيۡرٌ مُّبِيۡنٌؕ‏ ١١٥

I am none but a plain warner."

They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed."

So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me."

They replied: "It is all the same for us whether you admonish us or not.

This has been happening all along.

They replied: "You are nothing but one of those who are bewitched;

you are no different from a mortal like us. So produce a sign if you are truthful."

Salih said: "This is a she-camel. There is a day set for her to drink and there is a day set for you to drink.

leaving aside those whom Allah has created for you as your mates. Nay, you are a people that has transgressed all limits."

Aur tumhari biwiyon mein tumhare Rubb ne tumhare liye jo kuch paida kiya hai usey chodh detey ho? Balke tum log to hadd se hi guzar gaye ho.”

The people of Aykah also gave the lie to the Messengers.

Recall, when Shuayb said to them: "Have you no fear?

I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.

وَمَاۤ اَسۡـَٔـــلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍ​ۚ اِنۡ اَجۡرِىَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ ؕ‏ ١٨٠

I ask of you no reward for this. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe.

Main is kaam par tumse kisi ajar ka talib nahin hoon, mera ajar to Rabbul aalameen ke zimme hai

Fill up the measure and do not diminish the goods of people,

weigh with an even balance

وَلَا تَبۡخَسُوا النَّاسَ اَشۡيَآءَهُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِيۡنَ​ۚ‏  ١٨٣

and do not deliver short, and do not go about creating mischief in the land,

Aur logon ko unki cheezein kam na do, zameen mein fasaad na phaylate phiro

وَاتَّقُوا الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَكُمۡ وَالۡجِـبِلَّةَ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَؕ‏ ١٨٤

and have fear of Him Who created you and the earlier generations."

Aur us zaat ka khauff karo jisne tumhein aur guzishta nasalon ko paida kiya hai.”

قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّمَاۤ اَنۡتَ مِنَ الۡمُسَحَّرِيۡنَۙ‏ ١٨٥

They said: "You are no more than one of those who have been bewitched,

Unhon ne kaha “tu mehaz ek sehar zadah(affected by magic) aadmi hai

وَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثۡلُـنَا وَ اِنۡ نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ الۡكٰذِبِيۡنَ​ۚ‏  ١٨٦

you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar.

Aur tu kuch nahin magar ek Insaan hum hi jaisa, aur hum to tujhey bilkul jhoota samajhte hain

فَاَسۡقِطۡ عَلَيۡنَا كِسَفًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ اِنۡ كُنۡتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيۡنَؕ‏  ١٨٧

So cause a piece of the sky to fall upon us if you are truthful."

Agar tu saccha hai to humpar aasmaan ka koi tukda gira de”

قَالَ رَبِّىۡۤ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏ ١٨٨

Shuayb said: "My Lord knows well all what you do."

Shoaib ne kaha “ mera Rubb jaanta hai jo kuch tum kar rahey ho”

فَكَذَّبُوۡهُ فَاَخَذَهُمۡ عَذَابُ يَوۡمِ الظُّلَّةِ​ؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيۡمٍ‏ ١٨٩

Then they branded him a liar, whereupon the chastisement of the Day of Canopy overtook them. It was the chastisement of a very awesome day.

Unhon ne usey jhutla diya, aakhir-e-kaar chatri waley din (Day of Canopy) ka azaab unpar aa gaya, aur woh baday hi khauf-naak din ka azaab tha

اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَاَيَةً ​ ؕ وَمَا كَانَ اَكۡثَرُهُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏ ١٩٠

Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe.

Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate.

to your heart that you might become one of those who warn (others on behalf of Allah),

Taa-ke tu un logon mein shamil ho jo (khuda ki taraf se khalq-e-khuda ko) mutanabbeh (warn) karne waley hain

بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِىٍّ مُّبِيۡنٍؕ‏ ١٩٥

(a revelation) in clear Arabic language,

Saaf saaf arabi zubaan mein

وَاِنَّهٗ لَفِىۡ زُبُرِ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ‏ ١٩٦

Aur agley logo ki kitaabon mein bhi yeh maujood hai

اَوَلَمۡ يَكُنۡ لَّهُمۡ اٰيَةً اَنۡ يَّعۡلَمَهٗ عُلَمٰٓؤُا بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَؕ‏  ١٩٧

Is it not a Sign to them � (to wit, the Makkans) � that the learned men of the Children of Israel know that?

Kya in (ehle Makkah) ke liye yeh koi nishani nahin hai ke isey ulema-e-bani Israel jaante hain

وَلَوۡ نَزَّلۡنٰهُ عَلٰى بَعۡضِ الۡاَعۡجَمِيۡنَۙ‏ ١٩٨

(But such is their adamance) that had We revealed it to one of the non-Arabs and even if he had recited(this clear Arabic discourse) to them

(Lekin inki hatdarmi ka haal yeh hai ke) agar hum isey kisi ajami (non-arab) par bhi nazil kar detey

فَقَرَاَهٗ عَلَيۡهِمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا بِهٖ مُؤۡمِنِيۡنَؕ‏ ١٩٩

they would still not have believed in it.

Aur yeh (faseeh arabi kalaam) woh inko padh kar sunata tab bhi yeh maan kar na detey

كَذٰلِكَ سَلَكۡنٰهُ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِ الۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَؕ‏ ٢٠٠

Thus have We caused this (Admonition) to penetrate the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod).

Isi tarah humne is (zikr) ko mujrimon ke dilon mein guzara hai

لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِهٖ حَتّٰى يَرَوُا الۡعَذَابَ الۡاَلِيۡمَۙ‏ ٢٠١

They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement.

Woh ispar iman nahin latey jab tak azaab e aleem na dekh lein

فَيَاۡتِيَهُمۡ بَغۡتَةً وَّهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُوۡنَۙ‏ ٢٠٢

But when it comes upon them suddenly, taking them unawares,

Phir jab woh be-khabari mein unpar aa padta hai

فَيَـقُوۡلُوۡا هَلۡ نَحۡنُ مُنۡظَرُوۡنَؕ‏ ٢٠٣

they say: "Can we be granted some respite?"

Us waqt kehte hain “ke kya ab humein kuch mohalat mil sakti hai?”

اَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَ‏ ٢٠٤

Do they really want Our chastisement to be expedited?

To kya yeh log hamare azab ke liye jaldi macha rahey hain

اَفَرَءَيۡتَ اِنۡ مَّتَّعۡنٰهُمۡ سِنِيۡنَۙ‏ ٢٠٥

Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years

Tumne kuch gaur kiya , agar hum inhein barason tak aish karne ki mohalat bhi de dein

ثُمَّ جَآءَهُمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يُوۡعَدُوۡنَۙ‏ ٢٠٦

and then the chastisement of which they were being warned were to come upon them,

Aur phir wahi cheez unpar aa jaye jissey inhein daraya jaa raha hai

مَاۤ اَغۡنٰى عَنۡهُمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يُمَتَّعُوۡنَؕ‏ ٢٠٧

of what avail will be the provisions of life which they have been granted to enjoy?

To woh saamaan-e-zeist (provisions of life) jo unko mila hua hai inke kis kaam aayega

وَمَاۤ اَهۡلَكۡنَا مِنۡ قَرۡيَةٍ اِلَّا لَهَا مُنۡذِرُوۡنَ​​​​​ ۛ ​ۖ ‏ ٢٠٨

We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners

(Dekho) humne kabhi kisi basti ko iske bagair halaak nahin kiya ke uske liye khabardar karne waley haqq e naseehat ada karne ko maujood thay

ذِكۡرٰى​ۛ وَمَا كُنَّا ظٰلِمِيۡنَ‏ ٢٠٩

to admonish them. We have never been unjust.

وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتۡ بِهِ الشَّيٰطِيۡنُ‏ ٢١٠

The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book),

وَمَا يَنۡۢبَغِىۡ لَهُمۡ وَمَا يَسۡتَطِيۡعُوۡنَؕ‏ ٢١١

nor does it behove them, nor does it lie in their power.

Na yeh kaam unko sajta hai, aur na woh aisa kar hi sakte hain

اِنَّهُمۡ عَنِ السَّمۡعِ لَمَعۡزُوۡلُوۡنَؕ‏ ٢١٢

Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it.

Woh to iski samaat (hearing) tak se door rakkhey gaye hain

فَلَا تَدۡعُ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ فَتَكُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡمُعَذَّبِيۡنَ​ۚ‏  ٢١٣

So do not call any other god beside Allah lest you become of those who will be punished,

Pas (aey Muhammad), Allah ke saath kisi dusre mabood ko na pukaro, warna tum bhi saza paaney walon mein shamil ho jaogey

and warn your nearest kinsmen;

وَاخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ​ۚ‏ ٢١٥

and be meek to the believers who follow you.

Aur iman laney walon mein se jo log tumhari pairwi ikhtiyar karein unke saath tawazo (humble/kindness) se pesh aao

فَاِنۡ عَصَوۡكَ فَقُلۡ اِنِّىۡ بَرِىۡٓءٌ مِّمَّا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ​ۚ‏ ٢١٦

Then if they disobey you say to them: "I am quit of what you do."

Lekin agar woh tumhari nafarmaani karein to unsey kehdo ke jo kuch tum karte ho ussey main bari-uz-zimma (not responsible) hoon

وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى الۡعَزِيۡزِ الرَّحِيۡمِۙ‏ ٢١٧

And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate,

Aur us zabardast aur raheem par tawakkul(bharosa) karo

الَّذِىۡ يَرٰٮكَ حِيۡنَ تَقُوۡمُۙ‏ ٢١٨

Who observes you when you rise (to pray)

Jo tumhein us waqt dekh raha hota hai jab tum uthte ho

وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِى السّٰجِدِيۡنَ‏ ٢١٩

and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves.

Aur sajda guzaar logon mein tumhari naqal o harakat par nigaah rakhta hai

اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيۡعُ الۡعَلِيۡمُ‏ ٢٢٠

He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

O people, shall I tell you on whom it is that satans descend?

Logon, kya main tumhein bataon ke shayateen kis par utra karte hain

تَنَزَّلُ عَلٰى كُلِّ اَفَّاكٍ اَثِيۡمٍۙ‏ ٢٢٢

They descend on every forgerer steeped in sin,

Woh har chaal saaz, badhkaar par utra karte hain

يُّلۡقُوۡنَ السَّمۡعَ وَاَكۡثَرُهُمۡ كٰذِبُوۡنَؕ‏ ٢٢٣

on those who whisper hearsay in the ears of people; and most of them are liars.

Suni sunayi baatein kaano mein phoonkte hain, aur unmein se aksar jhootey hotay hain

وَالشُّعَرَآءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الۡغَاوٗنَؕ‏ ٢٢٤

As for poets, only the wayward follow them.

Rahey shuaraa (poets), to unke peechey behke huey log chala karte hain

اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّهُمۡ فِىۡ كُلِّ وَادٍ يَّهِيۡمُوۡنَۙ‏ ٢٢٥

Do you not see that they wander about in every valley

Kya tum dekhte nahin ho ke woh har waadi (valley) mein bhatakte hain

وَاَنَّهُمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مَا لَا يَفۡعَلُوۡنَۙ‏ ٢٢٦

and say things which they do not act upon,

Aur aisi baatein kehte hain jo karte nahin hain

اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَذَكَرُوا اللّٰهَ كَثِيۡرًا وَّانْتَصَرُوۡا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا ظُلِمُوۡا​ ؕ وَسَيَـعۡلَمُ الَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡۤا اَىَّ مُنۡقَلَبٍ يَّـنۡقَلِبُوۡنَ‏ ٢٢٧

except those who believed and acted righteously and remembered Allah much, and when they themselves were subjected to wrong, they exacted retribution no more than to the extent of the wrong? Soon will the wrong-doers know the end that they shall reach.

Bajuz un logon ke jo iman laye aur jinhon ne neik amal kiye aur Allah ko kasrat se yaad kiya aur jab unpar zulm kiya gaya to sirf badla le liye, aur zulm karne walon ko anqareeb maloom ho jayega ke woh kis anjaam se do-chaar hotay hain
