Surah Al-Baqarah: 2 - Ayah: 243
Arabic
اَلَمۡ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيۡنَ خَرَجُوۡا مِنۡ دِيَارِهِمۡ وَهُمۡ اُلُوۡفٌ حَذَرَ الۡمَوۡتِ فَقَالَ لَهُمُ اللّٰهُ مُوۡتُوۡا ثُمَّ اَحۡيَاھُمۡؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَذُوۡ فَضۡلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلٰـكِنَّ اَکۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشۡکُرُوۡنَ
English
(O Messenger), have you thought of those who went forth from their homes for fear of death even though they were in their thousands? Allah said to them: “Die!” Then He restored them to life. Indeed Allah is Bounteous to mankind; but most people do not give thanks in return.
Urdu
Tumne un logon ke haal par bhi kuch gaur kiya, jo maut ke darr se apne ghar baar chodh kar nikle thay aur hazaaron ki tadaad mein thay? Allah ne unse farmaya: marr jao , phir usne unko dobara zindagi bakshi, haqeeqat yeh hai ke Allah Insaan par bada fazal farmane wala hai magar aksar log shukar ada nahin karte
Surah Al-A'raf: 7 - Ayah: 10
Arabic
وَلَقَدۡ مَكَّـنّٰكُمۡ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَـكُمۡ فِيۡهَا مَعَايِشَ ؕ قَلِيۡلًا مَّا تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ
English
We assuredly established you in the earth and arranged for your livelihood in it. Little do you give thanks.
Urdu
Humne tumhein zameen mein ikhtiyarat ke saath basaya aur tumhare liye yahan samaan e zeist faraham kiya Magar tumlog kam hi shukar-guzar hotey ho
Surah Al-A'raf: 7 - Ayah: 189
Arabic
هُوَ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَكُمۡ مِّنۡ نَّـفۡسٍ وَّاحِدَةٍ وَّجَعَلَ مِنۡهَا زَوۡجَهَا لِيَسۡكُنَ اِلَيۡهَا ۚ فَلَمَّا تَغَشّٰٮهَا حَمَلَتۡ حَمۡلًا خَفِيۡفًا فَمَرَّتۡ بِهٖ ۚ فَلَمَّاۤ اَثۡقَلَتۡ دَّعَوَا اللّٰهَ رَبَّهُمَا لَٮِٕنۡ اٰتَيۡتَـنَا صَالِحًا لَّـنَكُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الشّٰكِرِيۡنَ
English
It is He - Allah -Who created you from a single being, and out of it He made its mate, that he may find comfort in her. And when he covers her, she bears a light burden and goes about with it. Then, when she grows heavy, they pray to their Lord: 'If You bestow upon us a healthy child, we will surely give thanks.'
Urdu
Woh Allah hi hai jisne tumhein ek jaan se paida kiya aur usi ki jins se uska joda banaya taa-ke uske paas sukoon haasil karey. Phir jab mard ne aurat ko dhank liya to usey ek khafif sa hamal reh gaya jisey liye liye woh chalti phirti rahi, phir jab woh bojhal ho gayi to dono ne milkar Allah, apne Rubb se dua ki ke agar tu nay humko accha sa baccha diya to hum tere shukar guzar hongey
Surah Al-A'raf: 7 - Ayah: 190
Arabic
فَلَمَّاۤ اٰتٰٮهُمَا صَالِحًـا جَعَلَا لَهٗ شُرَكَآءَ فِيۡمَاۤ اٰتٰٮهُمَا ۚ فَتَعٰلَى اللّٰهُ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُوۡنَ
English
But when He vouchsafes them a healthy child, they attribute to Him partners regarding what Allah had bestowed upon them. Subliminally exalted is Allah above that which they associate with Him.
Urdu
Magar jab Allah ne unko ek sahih o saalim baccha de diya to woh uski is bakshish o inayat mein dusron ko uska shareek thehrane lagey. Allah bahut buland o bartar hai in mushrikana baaton se jo yeh log karte hain
Surah Yunus: 10 - Ayah: 22
Arabic
هُوَ الَّذِىۡ يُسَيِّرُكُمۡ فِى الۡبَرِّ وَالۡبَحۡرِؕ حَتّٰۤى اِذَا كُنۡتُمۡ فِى الۡفُلۡكِ ۚ وَ جَرَيۡنَ بِهِمۡ بِرِيۡحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَّفَرِحُوۡا بِهَا جَآءَتۡهَا رِيۡحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَّجَآءَهُمُ الۡمَوۡجُ مِنۡ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَّظَنُّوۡۤا اَنَّهُمۡ اُحِيۡطَ بِهِمۡ ۙ دَعَوُا اللّٰهَ مُخۡلِصِيۡنَ لَـهُ الدِّيۡنَۙ لَٮِٕنۡ اَنۡجَيۡتَـنَا مِنۡ هٰذِهٖ لَنَكُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الشّٰكِرِيۡنَ
English
He it is Who enables you to journey through the land and the sea. And so it happens that when you have boarded the ships and they set sail with a favourable wind, and the passengers rejoice at the pleasant voyage, then suddenly a fierce gale appears, and wave upon wave surges upon them from every side, and people believe that they are surrounded from all directions, and all of them cry out to Allah in full sincerity of faith: 'If You deliver us from this we shall surely be thankful.
Urdu
Woh Allah hi hai jo tumko khushki (land) aur tari (sea) mein chalata hai. Chunanche jab tum kashtiyon mein sawar hokar baad-e-mawafiq par farhan-o-shadan safar kar rahey hotey ho aur phir yakayak baad-e-mukhalif ka zoar hota hai (fierce gale appears) aur har taraf se maujon (waves) ke thapede lagte hain aur musafir samajh lete hain ke toofan mein ghir gaye, us waqt sab apne deen ko Allah hi ke liye khalis karke ussey duaein maangte hain ke “agar tu nay humko is bala se najat de di to hum shukar guzar banday banenge”
Surah Yunus: 10 - Ayah: 23
Arabic
فَلَمَّاۤ اَنۡجٰٮهُمۡ اِذَا هُمۡ يَبۡغُوۡنَ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ الۡحَـقِّ ؕ يٰۤـاَ يُّهَا النَّاسُ اِنَّمَا بَغۡيُكُمۡ عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِكُمۡۙ مَّتَاعَ الۡحَيٰوةِ الدُّنۡيَا ثُمَّ اِلَـيۡنَا مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَنُنَبِّئُكُمۡ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ
English
But no sooner than He delivers them than they go about committing excesses on the earth, acting unjustly. Men ! The excesses you commit will be of harm only to yourselves, (Enjoy, if you will) the fleeting pleasure of this world; in me end you shall all return to Us, and then We shall tell you what you did.
Urdu
Magar jab woh unko bacha leta hai to phir wahi log haqq se munharif hokar zameen mein bagawat karne lagte hain. Logon, tumhari yeh bagawat ulti tumhare hi khilaf padh rahi hai, duniya ke chandh roza mazey hain (loot lo), phir hamari taraf tumhein palat kar aana hai, us waqt hum tumhein bata denge ke tum kya kuch karte rahey ho
Surah Yunus: 10 - Ayah: 60
Arabic
وَمَا ظَنُّ الَّذِيۡنَ يَفۡتَرُوۡنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ الۡكَذِبَ يَوۡمَ الۡقِيٰمَةِؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَذُوۡ فَضۡلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلٰـكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡكُرُوۡنَ
English
Think how those who invent lies against Him will be treated on, the Day of Judgement? Allah is bountiful to men yet most of them do not give thanks.
Urdu
Jo log Allah par yeh jhoot iftara bandhte (invent lies) hain unka kya gumaan hai ke qayamat ke roz unsey kya maamla hoga? Allah to logon par mehrabani ki nazar rakhta hai magar aksar Insaan aisey hain jo shukar nahin karte
Surah Yusuf: 12 - Ayah: 38
Arabic
وَاتَّبَعۡتُ مِلَّةَ اٰبَآءِىۡۤ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَاِسۡحٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوۡبَؕ مَا كَانَ لَنَاۤ اَنۡ نُّشۡرِكَ بِاللّٰهِ مِنۡ شَىۡءٍؕ ذٰلِكَ مِنۡ فَضۡلِ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡنَا وَعَلَى النَّاسِ وَلٰـكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشۡكُرُوۡنَ
English
and I have adopted the way of my forefathers - Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. It is not for us to associate any with Allah in His Divinity. It is out of Allah's grace upon us and upon mankind (that He did not require of us to serve any other than Allah), and yet most people do not give thanks.
Urdu
Apne buzurgon, Ibrahim, Ishaq aur yaqub ka tareeqa ikhtiyar kiya hai, hamara yeh kaam nahin hai ke Allah ke saath kisi ko shareek tehehrayein .Dar-haqeeqat yeh Allah ka fazal hai humpar aur Insaano par (ke usne apne siwa kisi ka banda humein nahin banaya) magar aksar log shukar nahin karte
Surah An-Naml: 27 - Ayah: 73
Arabic
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُوۡ فَضۡلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡكُرُوۡنَ
English
Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks.
Urdu
Haqeeqat yeh hai ke tera Rubb to logon par bada fazal farmane wala hai, magar aksar log shukar nahin karte
Surah As-Sajdah: 32 - Ayah: 9
Arabic
ثُمَّ سَوّٰٮهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيۡهِ مِنۡ رُّوۡحِهٖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمۡعَ وَالۡاَبۡصَارَ وَالۡاَفۡـــِٕدَةَ ؕ قَلِيۡلًا مَّا تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ
English
then He duly proportioned him, and breathed into him of His spirit, and bestowed upon you ears and eyes and hearts. And yet, little thanks do you give.
Urdu
Phir usko nik-suk se durust kiya aur uske andar apni rooh phoonk di. Aur tumko kaan diye, aankhein di aur dil diye. Tum log kam hi shukar guazar hotey ho
Surah Saba: 34 - Ayah: 13
Arabic
يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ لَهٗ مَا يَشَآءُ مِنۡ مَّحَارِيۡبَ وَتَمَاثِيۡلَ وَجِفَانٍ كَالۡجَـوَابِ وَقُدُوۡرٍ رّٰسِيٰتٍ ؕ اِعۡمَلُوۡۤا اٰلَ دَاوٗدَ شُكۡرًا ؕ وَقَلِيۡلٌ مِّنۡ عِبَادِىَ الشَّكُوۡرُ
English
They made for him whatever he would desire: stately buildings, images, basins like water-troughs and huge, built-in-cauldrons: “Work, O house of David, in thankfulness (to your Lord). Few of My servants are truly thankful.”
Urdu
Woh uske liye banate thay jo kuch woh chahta, unchi imaratein, tasvirein, baday baday hauz jaisey lagan (bowls like reservoirs) aur apni jagah se na hatne wali bhari degein. Aey aale Dawood, amal karo shukar ke tareeqe par. Mere bandon mein kam hi shukar guzar hain
Surah Ghafir: 40 - Ayah: 61
Arabic
اَللّٰهُ الَّذِىۡ جَعَلَ لَـكُمُ الَّيۡلَ لِتَسۡكُنُوۡا فِيۡهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبۡصِرًا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَذُوۡ فَضۡلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَ لٰـكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشۡكُرُوۡنَ
English
Allah it is Who made the night so that you may seek repose in it, and made the day radiant. Surely Allah is Most Bounteous to people; but most people do not give thanks.
Urdu
Woh Allah hi to hai jisne tumhare liye raat banayi taa-ke tum usmein sukoon haasil karo, Aur din ko roshan kiya. Haqeeqat yeh hai ke Allah logon par bada fazl farmane wala hai magar aksar log shukar ada nahin karte
Surah Al-Mulk: 67 - Ayah: 23
Arabic
قُلۡ هُوَ الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡشَاَكُمۡ وَجَعَلَ لَـكُمُ السَّمۡعَ وَالۡاَبۡصَارَ وَ الۡاَفۡـــِٕدَةَ ؕ قَلِيۡلًا مَّا تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ
English
Say: “He it is Who has brought you into being, and has given you hearing and sight, and has given you hearts to think and understand. How seldom do you give thanks!”

Inse kaho Allah hi hai jisne tumhein paida kiya, tumko sunney aur dekhne ki taaqatein di aur sochne samajhne waley dil diye, magar tum kam hi shukr ada karte ho
