How much should we spend in the cause of Allah?

ہمیں اللہ کی راہ میں کتنا خرچ کرنا چاہئیے؟

Surah Al-Baqarah: 2 - Ayah: 219
Arabic
يَسۡـــَٔلُوۡنَكَ عَنِ الۡخَمۡرِ وَالۡمَيۡسِرِ​ؕ قُلۡ فِيۡهِمَآ اِثۡمٌ کَبِيۡرٌ وَّمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَاِثۡمُهُمَآ اَکۡبَرُ مِنۡ نَّفۡعِهِمَا ؕ وَيَسۡـــَٔلُوۡنَكَ مَاذَا يُنۡفِقُوۡنَؕ  قُلِ الۡعَفۡوَ​ؕ كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمُ الۡاٰيٰتِ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَتَفَكَّرُوۡنَۙ‏
English
They ask you about wine and games of chance. Say: “In both these there is great evil, even though there is some benefit for people, but their evil is greater than their benefit.” They ask: “What should we spend in the Way of Allah?” Say: “Whatever you can spare.” In this way Allah clearly expounds His injunctions to you that you may reflect upon them,

Puchte hain : sharab aur juwey (gambling) ka kya hukum hai? Kaho: in dono cheezon mein badi kharabi hai agarchey inmein logon ke liye kuch munafey bhi hai, magar unka gunaah unke faiyde se bahut zyada hai. Puchte hain: hum raah e khuda mein kya kharch karein? Kaho: jo kuch tumhari zaroorat se zyada ho, is tarah Allah tumhare liye saaf saaf ehkaam bayaan karta hai, shayad ke tum duniya aur aakhirat dono ki fikr karo
Surah Al-Anfal: 8 - Ayah: 41
Arabic
وَاعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّمَا غَنِمۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ شَىۡءٍ فَاَنَّ لِلّٰهِ خُمُسَهٗ وَ لِلرَّسُوۡلِ وَلِذِى الۡقُرۡبٰى وَالۡيَتٰمٰى وَالۡمَسٰكِيۡنِ وَابۡنِ السَّبِيۡلِ ۙ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ اٰمَنۡتُمۡ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلٰى عَبۡدِنَا يَوۡمَ الۡفُرۡقَانِ يَوۡمَ الۡتَقَى الۡجَمۡعٰنِ​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ‏
English
Know that one fifth of the spoils that you obtain belongs to Allah, to the Messenger, to the near of kin, to the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer. This you must observe if you truly believe In Allah and in what We sent down on Our servant on the day when the true was distinguished from the false, the day on which the two armies met in battle. Allah has power over all things.

Aur tumhein maloom ho ke jo kuch maal e ganimat tumne hasil kiya hai uska paanchwa (fifth) hissa Allah aur uske Rasool aur rishtedaaron aur yateemon aur miskeeno aur musafiron ke liye hai. Agar tum iman laye ho Allah par aur us cheez par jo faisle ke roz , yaani dono faujon ki mutbhed (armies met in battle) ke din, humne apne banday par nazil ki thi, (to yeh hissa ba-khushi ada karo). Allah har cheez par qadir hai
Surah At-Talaq: 65 - Ayah: 7
Arabic
لِيُنۡفِقۡ ذُوۡ سَعَةٍ مِّنۡ سَعَتِهٖ​ؕ وَمَنۡ قُدِرَ عَلَيۡهِ رِزۡقُهٗ فَلۡيُنۡفِقۡ مِمَّاۤ اٰتٰٮهُ اللّٰهُ​ؕ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللّٰهُ نَفۡسًا اِلَّا مَاۤ اٰتٰٮهَا​ؕ سَيَجۡعَلُ اللّٰهُ بَعۡدَ عُسۡرٍ يُّسۡرًا‏
English
Whoever has abundant means, let him spend according to his means; and he whose means are straitened, let him spend out of what Allah has given him. Allah does not burden any human being beyond the means that He has bestowed upon him. Possibly Allah will grant ease after hardship.

Khushaal aadmi apni khushaali ke mutabiq nafqa de, aur jisko rizq kam diya gaya ho woh usi maal mein se kharch karey jo Allah ne usey diya hai. Allah ne jisko jitna kuch diya hai ussey ziyada ka woh usey mukallaf(burden) nahi karta. Baeed(door) nahin ke Allah tangdasti ke baad farakh dasti bhi ataa farmade
