Surah Al-Baqarah: 2 - Ayah: 45
Arabic
وَاسۡتَعِيۡنُوۡا بِالصَّبۡرِ وَالصَّلٰوةِ ؕ وَاِنَّهَا لَكَبِيۡرَةٌ اِلَّا عَلَى الۡخٰشِعِيۡنَۙ
English
And resort to patience and Prayer for help. Truly Prayer is burdensome for all except the devout,
Urdu
Sabar aur namaz se madad lo, beshak namaz ek sakht mushkil kaam hai
Surah Al-Baqarah: 2 - Ayah: 153
Arabic
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اسۡتَعِيۡنُوۡا بِالصَّبۡرِ وَالصَّلٰوةِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ مَعَ الصّٰبِرِيۡنَ
English
Believers! Seek help in patience and in Prayer; Allah is with those that are patient.
Urdu
Aey logon jo iman laye ho sabr aur namaz se madad lo, Allah sabr karne walon ke saath hai
Surah Al-Baqarah: 2 - Ayah: 156
Arabic
الَّذِيۡنَ اِذَآ اَصَابَتۡهُمۡ مُّصِيۡبَةٌ ۙ قَالُوۡٓا اِنَّا لِلّٰهِ وَاِنَّـآ اِلَيۡهِ رٰجِعُوۡنَؕ
English
those who when any affliction smites them, they say: “Verily, we belong to Allah, and it is to Him that we are destined to return.”
Urdu
In halaat mein jo log sabr karein aur jab koi museebat padey to kahein ke : “ hum Allah hi ke hain aur Allah hi ki taraf humein palat kar jana hai”
Surah Al-Baqarah: 2 - Ayah: 157
Arabic
اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ صَلَوٰتٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّهِمۡ وَرَحۡمَةٌ وَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡمُهۡتَدُوۡنَ
English
Upon them will be the blessings and mercy of their Lord, and it is they who are rightly guided.
Urdu
Unhein khush-khabri dedo unpar unke Rubb ki taraf se badi inayat hogi, uski rehmat unpar saya karegi aur aisey hi log raast-ro hain
Surah Ali 'Imran: 3 - Ayah: 134
Arabic
الَّذِيۡنَ يُنۡفِقُوۡنَ فِى السَّرَّآءِ وَالضَّرَّآءِ وَالۡكٰظِمِيۡنَ الۡغَيۡظَ وَالۡعَافِيۡنَ عَنِ النَّاسِؕ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَۚ
English
who spend in the way of Allah both in plenty and hardship, who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers."
Urdu
Jo har haal mein apne maal kharch karte hain khwah badh haal hon ya khush haal , jo gussey ko pee jatey hain aur dusron ke kasoor maaf kardete hain, aisey neik log Allah ko bahut pasand hain
Surah Ali 'Imran: 3 - Ayah: 146
Arabic
وَكَاَيِّنۡ مِّنۡ نَّبِىٍّ قٰتَلَ ۙ مَعَهٗ رِبِّيُّوۡنَ كَثِيۡرٌ ۚ فَمَا وَهَنُوۡا لِمَاۤ اَصَابَهُمۡ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوۡا وَمَا اسۡتَكَانُوۡا ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الصّٰبِرِيۡنَ
English
Many were the Prophets on whose side a large number of God-devoted men fought: they neither lost heart for all they had to suffer in the way of Allah nor did they weaken nor did they abase themselves. Allah loves such steadfast ones.
Urdu
Issey pehle kitne hi Nabi aisey guzar chuke hain jinke saath milkar bahut se khuda paraston ne jung ki, Allah ki raah mein jo museebatein unpar padin unse woh dil shikashta nahin huey, unhon ne kamzori nahin dikhayi, woh ( baatil ke aagey) sarnagon (abase) nahin huey, aisey hi saabiron ko Allah pasand karta hai
Surah Ali 'Imran: 3 - Ayah: 186
Arabic
لَـتُبۡلَوُنَّ فِىۡۤ اَمۡوَالِكُمۡ وَاَنۡفُسِكُمۡ وَلَـتَسۡمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡكِتٰبَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡ وَمِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَشۡرَكُوۡۤا اَذًى كَثِيۡـرًاؕ وَاِنۡ تَصۡبِرُوۡا وَتَتَّقُوۡا فَاِنَّ ذٰلِكَ مِنۡ عَزۡمِ الۡاُمُوۡرِ
English
(Believers!) You will certainly be put to test in respect of your properties and lives, and you will certainly hear many hurtful things from those who were granted the Book before you and those who have associated others with Allah in His divinity. If you remain patient and God-fearing this indeed is a matter of great resolution.
Urdu
(Musalmaano)! Tumhein maal aur jaan dono ki aazmaishein pesh aakar rahengi, aur tum ehle kitab aur mushrikeen se bahut se takleef-de baatein sunogey. Agar in sab haalat mein tum sabr aur khuda tarsi ki rawish par qayam raho to yeh baday hausle ka kaam hai
Surah Ali 'Imran: 3 - Ayah: 200
Arabic
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اصۡبِرُوۡا وَصَابِرُوۡا وَرَابِطُوۡا وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُوۡنَ
English
Believers, be steadfast, and vie in steadfastness, stand firm in your faith, and hold Allah in fear that you may attain true success.
Urdu
Aey logon jo iman laye ho, Sabr se kaam lo, baatil paraston ke muqable mein pa-mardi dikhao, haqq ki khidmat ke liye kamar-basta ho jao, aur Allah se darte raho, umeed hai ke falaah paogey
Surah Hud: 11 - Ayah: 9
Arabic
وَلَٮِٕنۡ اَذَقۡنَا الۡاِنۡسَانَ مِنَّا رَحۡمَةً ثُمَّ نَزَعۡنٰهَا مِنۡهُۚ اِنَّهٗ لَيَـــُٔوۡسٌ كَفُوۡرٌ
English
If We ever favour man with Our Mercy, and then take it away from him, he becomes utterly desperate, totally ungrateful.
Urdu
Agar kabhi hum Insaan ko apni rehmat se nawazne ke baad phir ussey mehroom kardete hain to woh mayous hota hai aur nashukri karne lagta hai
Surah Hud: 11 - Ayah: 10
Arabic
وَلَٮِٕنۡ اَذَقۡنٰهُ نَـعۡمَآءَ بَعۡدَ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتۡهُ لَيَـقُوۡلَنَّ ذَهَبَ السَّيِّاٰتُ عَنِّىۡ ؕ اِنَّهٗ لَـفَرِحٌ فَخُوۡرٌۙ
English
And if We let him taste favour after harm has touched him, he says: 'All my ills are gone', and he suddenly becomes exultant and boastful,
Urdu
Aur agar us museebat ke baad jo uspar aayi thi hum usey niyamat ka maza chakhate hain to kehta hai mere to sarey diladdar(sakhtiyan) paar ho gaye, phir woh phoola nahin samata aur akadne lagta hai
Surah Hud: 11 - Ayah: 11
Arabic
اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ صَبَرُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِؕ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ لَهُمۡ مَّغۡفِرَةٌ وَّاَجۡرٌ كَبِيۡرٌ
English
except those who are patient and act righteously. Such shall have Allah's forgiveness and a great reward.
Urdu
Is aieb se paak agar koi hain to bas woh log jo sabr karne waley hain aur neikokar hain aur wahi hain jinke liye darguzar bhi hai aur bada ajar bhi
Surah An-Nahl: 16 - Ayah: 41
Arabic
وَالَّذِيۡنَ هَاجَرُوۡا فِى اللّٰهِ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا ظُلِمُوۡا لَـنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمۡ فِى الدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةً ؕ وَلَاَجۡرُ الۡاٰخِرَةِ اَكۡبَرُۘ لَوۡ كَانُوۡا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَۙ
English
As for those who have forsaken their homes for the sake of Allah after enduring persecution, We shall certainly grant them a good abode in this world; and surely the reward of the Hereafter is much greater. If they could but know (what an excellent end awaits)
Urdu
Jo log zulm sehne ke baad Allah ki khatir hijrat kar gaye hain unko hum duniya hi mein accha thikana denge aur aakhirat ka ajar to bahut bada hai, kaash jaan lein woh mazloom
Surah An-Nahl: 16 - Ayah: 42
Arabic
الَّذِيۡنَ صَبَرُوۡا وَعَلٰى رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُوۡنَ
English
those who remain steadfast and put their trust in their Lord.
Urdu
Jinhon ne sabr kiya hai aur jo apne Rubb ke bharosey par kaam kar rahey hain (ke kaisa accha anjaam unka muntazir hai)
Surah An-Nahl: 16 - Ayah: 126
Arabic
وَاِنۡ عَاقَبۡتُمۡ فَعَاقِبُوۡا بِمِثۡلِ مَا عُوۡقِبۡتُمۡ بِهٖۚ وَلَٮِٕنۡ صَبَرۡتُمۡ لَهُوَ خَيۡرٌ لِّلصّٰبِرِيۡنَ
English
If you take retribution, then do so in proportion to the wrong done to you. But if you can bear such conduct with patience, indeed that is best for the steadfast.
Urdu
Aur agar tum log badla lo to bas usi qadar le lo jis qadar tumpar zyadati ki gayi ho, lekin agar tum sabr karo to yaqeenan yeh sabr karne walon hi ke haqq mein behtar hai
Surah An-Nahl: 16 - Ayah: 127
Arabic
وَاصۡبِرۡ وَمَا صَبۡرُكَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا تَكُ فِىۡ ضَيۡقٍ مِّمَّا يَمۡكُرُوۡنَ
English
And bear with patience, (O Muhammad) - and your patience is only because of the help of Allah - and do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed by their evil plans.
Urdu
(Aey Muhammad) sabr se kaam kiye jao aur tumhara yeh sabr Allah hi ki toufeeq se hai, in logon ki harakat par ranjh na karo aur na inki chaalbaaziyon par dil tangg (distress) ho
Surah An-Nahl: 16 - Ayah: 128
Arabic
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ مَعَ الَّذِيۡنَ اتَّقَوْا وَّالَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ مُّحۡسِنُوۡنَ
English
For surely Allah is with those who hold Him in fear and do good.
Urdu
Allah un logon ke saath hai jo taqwa se kaam letay hain aur ehsan par amal karte hain
Surah Fussilat: 41 - Ayah: 35
Arabic
وَمَا يُلَقّٰٮهَاۤ اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ صَبَرُوۡاۚ وَمَا يُلَقّٰٮهَاۤ اِلَّا ذُوۡ حَظٍّ عَظِيۡمٍ
English
But none attains to this except those who are steadfast; none attains to this except those endowed with mighty good fortune.
Urdu
Yeh sifat naseeb nahin hoti magar un logon ko jo sabr karte hain, aur yeh muqaam haasil nahin hota magar un logon ko jo badey naseebey wale hain
Surah Fussilat: 41 - Ayah: 36
Arabic
وَاِمَّا يَنۡزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيۡطٰنِ نَزۡغٌ فَاسۡتَعِذۡ بِاللّٰهِؕ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيۡعُ الۡعَلِيۡمُ
English
And if you are prompted by a provocation from Satan, seek refuge with Allah. He, and He alone, is All-Hearing, All- Knowing.
Urdu
Aur agar tum shaytan ki taraf se koi uksahat (temptation) mehsoos karo to Allah ki panaah maang lo, woh sabkuch sunta aur jaanta hai
Surah Ash-Shuraa: 42 - Ayah: 39
Arabic
وَالَّذِيۡنَ اِذَاۤ اَصَابَهُمُ الۡبَغۡىُ هُمۡ يَنۡتَصِرُوۡنَ
English
who, when a wrong is done to them, seek its redress.
Urdu
Aur jab unpar zyadati ki jaati hai to uska muqaabla karte hain
Surah Ash-Shuraa: 42 - Ayah: 40
Arabic
وَجَزٰٓؤُا سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِّثۡلُهَاۚ فَمَنۡ عَفَا وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاَجۡرُهٗ عَلَى اللّٰهِؕ اِنَّهٗ لَا يُحِبُّ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ
English
The recompense of evil is evil the like of it. But he who forgives and makes amends, his reward lies with Allah.Surely He does not love the wrong-doers.
Urdu
Burayi ka badla waisi hi burayi hai, phir jo koi maaf karde aur islaah karey uska ajar Allah ke zimme hai. Allah zaalimon ko pasand nahin karta
Surah Ash-Shuraa: 42 - Ayah: 41
Arabic
وَلَمَنِ انْتَصَرَ بَعۡدَ ظُلۡمِهٖ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ مَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡ سَبِيۡلٍؕ
English
There is no blame against him who avenges himself after he has been wronged.
Urdu
Aur jo log zulm honay ke baad badla lein unko malamat nahin ki ja sakti
Surah Ash-Shuraa: 42 - Ayah: 42
Arabic
اِنَّمَا السَّبِيۡلُ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ يَظۡلِمُوۡنَ النَّاسَ وَ يَبۡغُوۡنَ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ الۡحَقِّؕ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ
English
Blame attaches only to those who subject people to wrong and commit excesses on earth. A painful chastisement awaits them.
Urdu
Malamat ke mustahiq to woh hain jo dusron par zulm karte hain aur zameen mein na haqq zyadatiyan karte hain. Aisey logon ke liye dardnaak azaab hai
Surah Ash-Shuraa: 42 - Ayah: 43
Arabic
وَلَمَنۡ صَبَرَ وَغَفَرَ اِنَّ ذٰلِكَ لَمِنۡ عَزۡمِ الۡاُمُوۡرِ
English
But he who patiently endures and forgives, that is a conduct of great resolve.
Urdu
Albatta jo shaks sabr se kaam le aur darguzar karey, to yeh badi ulul azmi ke kaamon mein se hai
