كٓهٰيٰـعٓـصٓ​ ۚ‏ ١

Kaf. Ha'. Ya'. Ayn. Sad.

Kaaf , Haa , yaa, ain , saad

ذِكۡرُ رَحۡمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَـبۡدَهٗ زَكَرِيَّا ​ ۖ ​ۚ‏ ٢

This is an account of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zechariah

Zikr hai us rehmat ka jo tere Rubb ne apne banday zakariya par ki thi

اِذۡ نَادٰى رَبَّهٗ نِدَآءً خَفِيًّا‏ ٣

when he cried to his Lord in secret.

Jabke usne apne Rubb ko chupke chupke pukara

قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّىۡ وَهَنَ الۡعَظۡمُ مِنِّىۡ وَاشۡتَعَلَ الرَّاۡسُ شَيۡبًا وَّلَمۡ اَكُنۡۢ بِدُعَآٮِٕكَ رَبِّ شَقِيًّا‏ ٤

He said: "Lord! My bones have grown feeble and my head is glistening with age; yet, never have my prayers to You, my Lord, been unfruitful.

Usne arz kiya “aey parwardigar, meri haddiyan tak ghul gayi hain aur sar budhape se bhadak utha hai, aey parwardigar, main kabhi tujhse dua maang kar na-murad nahin raha

وَاِنِّىۡ خِفۡتُ الۡمَوَالِىَ مِنۡ وَّرَآءِىۡ وَكَانَتِ امۡرَاَتِىۡ عَاقِرًا فَهَبۡ لِىۡ مِنۡ لَّدُنۡكَ وَلِيًّا ۙ‏ ٥

I fear evil from my kinsmen after I am gone; and my wife is barren, so grant me an heir out of Your special grace,

Mujhey apne peechey apne bhai bandon ki buraiyon ka khauf hai, aur meri biwi baanjh (barren) hai, tu mujhey apne fazal e khaas se ek waris ata karde

يَّرِثُنِىۡ وَيَرِثُ مِنۡ اٰلِ يَعۡقُوۡبَ ۖ ​ وَاجۡعَلۡهُ رَبِّ رَضِيًّا‏  ٦

one that might be my heir and the heir of the house of Jacob; and make him, Lord, one that will be pleasing to You.

Jo mera bhi ho aur aale yaqub ki miras bhi paye, aur aey parwardigar , usko ek pasandeeda Insaan bana”

يٰزَكَرِيَّاۤ اِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلٰم اۨسۡمُهٗ يَحۡيٰى ۙ لَمۡ نَجۡعَلْ لَّهٗ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ سَمِيًّا‏ ٧

(He was told): "Zechariah, We bring you the good news of the birth of a son whose name shall be Yahya (John), one whose namesake We never created before."

(Jawab diya gaya) “Aey zakariya, hum tujhe ek ladke ki basharat dete hain jiska naam Yahya hoga, humne is naam ka koi aadmi issey pehle paida nahin kiya”

قَالَ رَبِّ اَنّٰى يَكُوۡنُ لِىۡ غُلٰمٌ وَّكَانَتِ امۡرَاَتِىۡ عَاقِرًا وَّقَدۡ بَلَـغۡتُ مِنَ الۡـكِبَرِ عِتِيًّا‏ ٨

He said: "My Lord! How can I have a boy when my wife is barren and I have reached an extremely old age?"

Arz kiya, “parwardigar, bhala mere haan kaise beta hoga jabke meri biwi baanjh (barren) hai aur main boodha hokar sookh chuka hoon?”

قَالَ كَذٰلِكَ​ۚ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌ وَّقَدۡ خَلَقۡتُكَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ وَلَمۡ تَكُ شَيۡـًٔـا‏ ٩

He answered: "So shall it be." Your Lord says: "It is easy for Me," and then added: "For beyond doubt, I created you earlier when you were nothing."

Jawab mila “aisa hi hoga. Tera Rubb farmata hai ke yeh to mere liye ek zara si baat hai, aakhir issey pehle main tujhey paida kar chuka hoon jabke tu koi cheez na tha”

قَالَ رَبِّ اجۡعَلْ لِّىۡۤ اٰيَةً​  ؕ قَالَ اٰيَتُكَ اَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلٰثَ لَيَالٍ سَوِيًّا‏ ١٠

Zechariah said: "Lord, grant me a Sign." Said He: "Your Sign is that you shall not be able to speak to people for three nights, though you will be otherwise sound."

Zakariya ne kaha, “parwardigar, mere liye koi nishani muqarrar karde”. Farmaya “tere liye nishani yeh hai ke tu paiham teen din logon se baat na kar sakey”

فَخَرَجَ عَلٰى قَوۡمِهٖ مِنَ الۡمِحۡرَابِ فَاَوۡحٰٓى اِلَيۡهِمۡ اَنۡ سَبِّحُوۡا بُكۡرَةً وَّعَشِيًّا‏ ١١

Thereupon Zechariah came out from the sanctuary and directed his people by gestures to extol His glory by day and by night.

Chunachey woh mehrab se nikal kar apni qaum ke saamne aaya aur usne isharey se unko hidayat ki ke subh-o-shaam tasbeeh karo

يٰيَحۡيٰى خُذِ الۡكِتٰبَ بِقُوَّةٍ​ ؕ وَاٰتَيۡنٰهُ الۡحُكۡمَ صَبِيًّا ۙ‏ ١٢

"O John! Hold the Book with all your strength." We had bestowed wisdom upon him while he was still a child;

Aey Yahya! Kitab e ilahi ko mazboot thaam le, humne usey bachpan hi mein “hukum” se nawaza

وَّحَنَانًـا مِّنۡ لَّدُنَّا وَزَكٰوةً  ​ؕ وَّكَانَ تَقِيًّا ۙ‏ ١٣

and We also endowed him with tenderness and purity, and he was exceedingly pious

Aur apni taraf se usko narm dili aur paakeezgi ata ki aur woh bada parheizgaar

وَّبَرًّۢا بِوَالِدَيۡهِ وَلَمۡ يَكُنۡ جَبَّارًا عَصِيًّا‏ ١٤

and cherishing to his parents. Never was he insolent or rebellious.

Aur apne walidain ka haqq shanaas (dutiful ) tha, woh jabbar(arrogant) na tha aur na nafarman

وَسَلٰمٌ عَلَيۡهِ يَوۡمَ وُلِدَ وَيَوۡمَ يَمُوۡتُ وَيَوۡمَ يُبۡعَثُ حَيًّا‏  ١٥

Peace be upon him the day he was born, and the day he will die, and the day he will be raised up alive.

Salaam uspar jis roz ke woh paida hua aur jis din marey aur jis roz woh zinda karke uthaya jaye

وَاذۡكُرۡ فِى الۡـكِتٰبِ مَرۡيَمَ​ۘ اِذِ انْتَبَذَتۡ مِنۡ اَهۡلِهَا مَكَانًا شَرۡقِيًّا ۙ‏ ١٦

(O Muhammad), recite in the Book the account of Mary, when she withdrew from her people to a place towards the east;

Aur (aey Muhammad), is kitaab mein Maryam ka haal bayan karo, jabke woh apne logon se alag ho kar sharqi (eastern side) janib gosha nasheen (in seclusion) ho gayi thi

فَاتَّخَذَتۡ مِنۡ دُوۡنِهِمۡ حِجَابًا فَاَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡهَا رُوۡحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًا سَوِيًّا‏ ١٧

and drew a curtain, screening herself from people whereupon We sent to her Our spirit and he appeared to her as a well-shaped man.

Aur purda daal kar unse chup (hidden) baithi thi is halat mein humne uske paas apni rooh ko (yani farishte ko) bheja aur woh uske saamne ek puray Insan ki shakal mein namudar ho gaya

قَالَتۡ اِنِّىۡۤ اَعُوۡذُ بِالرَّحۡمٰنِ مِنۡكَ اِنۡ كُنۡتَ تَقِيًّا‏ ١٨

Mary exclaimed: "I surely take refuge from you with the Most Compassionate Lord, if you are at all God-fearing."

Maryam yakayak bol uthi ke “agar tu koi khuda tars aadmi hai to main tujhse rehman ki panaah maangti hoon”

​قَالَ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنَا رَسُوۡلُ رَبِّكِ ​ ۖ  لِاَهَبَ لَـكِ غُلٰمًا زَكِيًّا‏  ١٩

He said: "I am just a message-bearer of your Lord, I have come to grant you a most pure boy."

Usne kaha “main to tere Rubb ka faristada hoon aur isliye bheja gaya hoon ke tujhey ek paakeeza ladka doon”

قَالَتۡ اَنّٰى يَكُوۡنُ لِىۡ غُلٰمٌ وَّلَمۡ يَمۡسَسۡنِىۡ بَشَرٌ وَّلَمۡ اَكُ بَغِيًّا‏ ٢٠

Mary said: "How can a boy be born to me when no man has even touched me, nor have I ever been unchaste?"

Maryam ne kaha “ mere haan kaise ladka hoga jabke mujhey kisi bashar (Insaan) ne chua tak nahin hai aur main koi badhkaar aurat nahin hoon”

قَالَ كَذٰلِكِ​ ۚ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌ​ ۚ وَلِنَجۡعَلَهٗۤ اٰيَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحۡمَةً مِّنَّا​ ۚ وَكَانَ اَمۡرًا مَّقۡضِيًّا‏ ٢١

The angel said: "Thus shall it be. Your Lord says: 'It is easy for Me; and We shall do so in order to make him a Sign for mankind and a mercy from Us. This has been decreed.' "

Farishte ne kaha “ aisa hi hoga, tera Rubb farmata hai ke aisa karna mere liye bahut aasaan hai aur hum yeh isliye karenge ke us ladke ko logon ke liye ek nishani banayein aur apni taraf se ek rehmat, aur yeh kaam hokar rehna hai”

فَحَمَلَـتۡهُ فَانْتَبَذَتۡ بِهٖ مَكَانًا قَصِيًّا‏ ٢٢

Then she conceived him and withdrew with him to a far-off place.

Mayam ko us bacchey ka hamal reh gaya aur woh is hamal ko liye huey ek door ke maqaam par chali gayi

فَاَجَآءَهَا الۡمَخَاضُ اِلٰى جِذۡعِ النَّخۡلَةِ​ۚ قَالَتۡ يٰلَيۡتَنِىۡ مِتُّ قَبۡلَ هٰذَا وَكُنۡتُ نَسۡيًا مَّنۡسِيًّا‏ ٢٣

Then the birth pangs drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree and she said: "Oh, would that I had died before this and had been all forgotten."

Phir zachgi (delivery) ki takleef ne usey ek khajoor ke darakht ke nichey pahucha diya. Woh kehne lagi “kaash main issey pehle hi marr jati aur mera naam o nishan na rehta”

فَنَادٰٮهَا مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَاۤ اَلَّا تَحۡزَنِىۡ قَدۡ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحۡتَكِ سَرِيًّا‏ ٢٤

Thereupon the angel below her cried out: "Grieve not, for your Lord has caused a stream of water to flow beneath you.

Farishtey ne paintey (at the foot of her bed) se usko pukar kar kaha “ghum na kar tere Rubb ne tere nichey ek chashma rawan kardiya hai

وَهُزِّىۡۤ اِلَيۡكِ بِجِذۡعِ النَّخۡلَةِ تُسٰقِطۡ عَلَيۡكِ رُطَبًا جَنِيًّا‏  ٢٥

Shake the trunk of the palm-tree towards yourself and fresh and ripe dates shall fall upon you.

Aur tu zara is darakht ke tanay (trunk) ko hila, tere upar tarr-o-taaza khajoorein tapak padengi

فَكُلِىۡ وَاشۡرَبِىۡ وَقَرِّىۡ عَيۡنًا​ ۚ فَاِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ الۡبَشَرِ اَحَدًا ۙ فَقُوۡلِىۡۤ اِنِّىۡ نَذَرۡتُ لِلرَّحۡمٰنِ صَوۡمًا فَلَنۡ اُكَلِّمَ الۡيَوۡمَ اِنۡسِيًّا ​ۚ‏ ٢٦

So eat and drink and cool your eyes; and if you see any person say to him: 'Verily I have vowed a fast to the Most Compassionate Lord, and so I shall not speak to anyone today.' "

Pas tu kha aur pee aur apni aankhein thandi kar phir agar koi aadmi tujhey nazar aaye to ussey kehde ke maine rehman ke liye roze ki nazar maani hai, isliye aaj main kisi se na bolungi”

فَاَتَتۡ بِهٖ قَوۡمَهَا تَحۡمِلُهٗ​ؕ قَالُوۡا يٰمَرۡيَمُ لَقَدۡ جِئۡتِ شَيۡـًٔـا فَرِيًّا‏ ٢٧

Then she came to her people, carrying her baby. They said: "O Mary! You have committed a monstrous thing.

Phir woh is bacchey ko liye huey apni qaum mein aayi. Log kehne lagey “aey Maryam, yeh tu nay bada paap kar daala

يٰۤـاُخۡتَ هٰرُوۡنَ مَا كَانَ اَ بُوۡكِ امۡرَاَ سَوۡءٍ وَّمَا كَانَتۡ اُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا​ ۖ​ ۚ‏ ٢٨

O sister of Aaron! Your father was not an evil man, nor was your mother an unchaste woman."

Aey Haroon ki behan, na tera baap koi bura aadmi tha aur na teri Maa hi koi badhkar aurat thi”

فَاَشَارَتۡ اِلَيۡهِ​ ؕ قَالُوۡا كَيۡفَ نُـكَلِّمُ مَنۡ كَانَ فِى الۡمَهۡدِ صَبِيًّا‏ ٢٩

Thereupon Mary pointed to the child. They exclaimed: "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle, a mere child?"

Maryam ne bacchey ki taraf ishara kardiya. Logon ne kaha “hum issey kya baat karein jo gehwarey (cradle) mein pada hua ek baccha hai?”

قَالَ اِنِّىۡ عَبۡدُ اللّٰهِ ؕ اٰتٰٮنِىَ الۡكِتٰبَ وَجَعَلَنِىۡ نَبِيًّا ۙ‏ ٣٠

The child cried out: "Verily I am Allah's servant. He has granted me the Book and has made me a Prophet

Baccha bol utha “ main Allah ka banda hoon usne mujhey kitab di , aur Nabi banaya

وَّجَعَلَنِىۡ مُبٰـرَكًا اَيۡنَ مَا كُنۡتُ وَاَوۡصٰنِىۡ بِالصَّلٰوةِ وَالزَّكٰوةِ مَا دُمۡتُ حَيًّا ​ۖ ‏ ٣١

and has blessed me wherever I might be and has enjoined upon me Prayer and Zakah (purifying alms) as long as I live;

Aur babarakat kiya jahan bhi main rahoon, aur namaz aur zakaat ki pabandi ka hukum diya jab tak main zinda rahoon

وَّبَرًّۢابِوَالِدَتِىۡ وَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡنِىۡ جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا‏ ٣٢

and has made me dutiful to my mother. He has not made me oppressive, nor bereft of God's blessings.

Aur apni walida ka haqq ada karne wala banaya, aur mujhko jabbar (oppressive) aur shaqqi (hard-hearted) nahin banaya

وَالسَّلٰمُ عَلَىَّ يَوۡمَ وُلِدْتُّ وَيَوۡمَ اَمُوۡتُ وَيَوۡمَ اُبۡعَثُ حَيًّا‏  ٣٣

Peace be upon me the day I was born and the day I will die, and the day I will be raised up alive."

Salam hai mujhpar jabke main paida hua aur jabke main maroon(die) aur jabke zinda karke uthaya jaoon”

ذٰ لِكَ عِيۡسَى ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ ​ۚ قَوۡلَ الۡحَـقِّ الَّذِىۡ فِيۡهِ يَمۡتَرُوۡنَ‏  ٣٤

This is Jesus, the son of Mary; and this is the truth about him concerning which they are in doubt.

Yeh hai Isa ibn Maryam aur yeh hai uske barey mein woh sacchi baat jismein log shakk kar rahey hain

مَا كَانَ لِلّٰهِ اَنۡ يَّتَّخِذَ مِنۡ وَّلَدٍ​ۙ سُبۡحٰنَهٗ​ؕ اِذَا قَضٰٓى اَمۡرًا فَاِنَّمَا يَقُوۡلُ لَهٗ كُنۡ فَيَكُوۡنُؕ‏ ٣٥

It does not befit Allah to take for Himself a son. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a thing He only says: "Be" and it is.

Allah ka yeh kaam nahin hai ke woh kisi ko beta banaye. Woh paak zaat hai, woh jab kisi baat ka faisla karta hai to kehta hai ke hoja, aur bas woh ho jati hai

وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ رَبِّىۡ وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَاعۡبُدُوۡهُ ​ؕ هٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٌ‏  ٣٦

(Jesus had said): "Indeed Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him alone. This is the Straight Way."

(Aur Isa ne kaha tha ke)”Allah mera Rubb bhi hai aur tumhara Rubb bhi, pas tum usi ki bandagi karo, yahi seedhi raah hai”

فَاخۡتَلَفَ الۡاَحۡزَابُ مِنۡۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡ​ۚ فَوَيۡلٌ لِّـلَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ مَّشۡهَدِ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيۡمٍ‏ ٣٧

But different parties began to dispute with one another. A dreadful woe awaits on that great Day for those that reject the Truth.

Magar phir mukhtalif giroh baham ikhtilaf karne lagey. So jin logon ne kufr kiya unke liye woh waqt badi tabahi ka hoga

اَسۡمِعۡ بِهِمۡ وَاَبۡصِرۡۙ يَوۡمَ يَاۡتُوۡنَنَا​ لٰـكِنِ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ الۡيَوۡمَ فِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ‏ ٣٨

How well shall they hear and how well shall they see on the Day they come to Us! But today the evil-doers are in manifest error.

Jabke woh ek bada din dekhenge, jab woh hamare saamne hazir hongey us roz to unke kaan bhi khoob sun rahey hongey aur unki aankhein bhi khoob dekhti hongi, magar aaj yeh zalim khuli gumraahi mein mubtila hain

وَاَنۡذِرۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَ الۡحَسۡرَةِ اِذۡ قُضِىَ الۡاَمۡرُ​​ۘ وَهُمۡ فِىۡ غَفۡلَةٍ وَّهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ‏ ٣٩

(O Muhammad), warn those who are steeped in heedlessness and are obstinately rejecting the truth that the Day shall come when things will be finally decided and they shall be left with utter remorse.

(Aey Muhammad), is halat mein jabke yeh log gafil hain aur iman nahin la rahey hain, inhein us din se dara do jabke faisla kardiya jayega aur pachtawe ke siwa koi chara-e-kaar na hoga

اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَرِثُ الۡاَرۡضَ وَمَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا وَاِلَـيۡنَا يُرۡجَعُوۡنَ‏  ٤٠

Ultimately, We shall inherit the earth and whatever is on it; to Us shall they be returned.

Aakhir-e-kaar hum hi zameen aur uski sari cheezon ke waris hongey aur sab hamari taraf hi paltaye jayenge

وَاذۡكُرۡ فِى الۡكِتٰبِ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ ۙ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ صِدِّيۡقًا نَّبِيًّا‏  ٤١

(O Muhammad), recite in the Book the account of Abraham. Most surely he was a man of truth, a Prophet.

Aur is kitaab mein Ibrahim ka qissa bayan karo, beshak woh ek raast-baaz Insaan aur ek Nabi tha

اِذۡ قَالَ لِاَبِيۡهِ يٰۤـاَبَتِ لِمَ تَعۡبُدُ مَا لَا يَسۡمَعُ وَلَا يُبۡصِرُ وَ لَا يُغۡنِىۡ عَنۡكَ شَيۡــًٔـا‏ ٤٢

(And remind people) when he said to his father: "Father! Why do you worship that which neither sees nor hears, and which can be of no avail to you?

(Inhein zara us mauqe ki yaad dilao) jabke usne apne baap se kaha ke “Abbajaan, aap kyun un cheezon ki ibadat karte hain jo na sunti hain na dekhti hain aur na aap ka koi kaam bana sakti hain

يٰۤـاَبَتِ اِنِّىۡ قَدۡ جَآءَنِىۡ مِنَ الۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَمۡ يَاۡتِكَ فَاتَّبِعۡنِىۡۤ اَهۡدِكَ صِرَاطًا سَوِيًّا‏ ٤٣

Father, a knowledge that has not reached you has come to me. So follow me that I may guide you to a Straight Way.

يٰۤـاَبَتِ لَا تَعۡبُدِ الشَّيۡطٰنَ​ ؕ اِنَّ الشَّيۡطٰنَ كَانَ لِلرَّحۡمٰنِ عَصِيًّا‏ ٤٤

Father, do not serve Satan, for Satan has indeed been a persistent rebel against the Most Compassionate Lord.

يٰۤاَبَتِ اِنِّىۡۤ اَخَافُ اَنۡ يَّمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌ مِّنَ الرَّحۡمٰنِ فَتَكُوۡنَ لِلشَّيۡطٰنِ وَلِيًّا‏ ٤٥

Father, I fear that a punishment from the Most Compassionate Lord might strike you and you may end up as one of Satan's companions?"

قَالَ اَرَاغِبٌ اَنۡتَ عَنۡ اٰلِهَتِىۡ يٰۤاِبۡرٰهِيۡمُ​ۚ لَٮِٕنۡ لَّمۡ تَنۡتَهِ لَاَرۡجُمَنَّكَ​ وَاهۡجُرۡنِىۡ مَلِيًّا‏ ٤٦

The father said: "Abraham, have you turned away from my gods? If you do not give this up, I shall stone you to death. Now begone from me forever."

Baap ne kaha “Ibrahim, kya tu mere maboodon se phir gaya hai? Agar tu baaz na aaya to main tujhey sangsar(stone you to death) kardunga. Bas tu hamesha ke liye mujhse alag ho jaa”

قَالَ سَلٰمٌ عَلَيۡكَ​ۚ سَاَسۡتَغۡفِرُ لَـكَ رَبِّىۡؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ بِىۡ حَفِيًّا‏  ٤٧

Abraham answered: "Peace be upon you. I shall seek pardon for you from my Lord. My Lord has always been kind to Me.

Ibrahim ne kaha “Salaam hai aapko, main apne Rubb se dua karoonga ke aapko maaf karde. Mera Rubb mujhpar bada hi meharban hai

وَ اَعۡتَزِلُـكُمۡ وَمَا تَدۡعُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ وَاَدۡعُوۡا رَبِّىۡ​ ​ۖ  عَسٰٓى اَلَّاۤ اَكُوۡنَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّىۡ شَقِيًّا‏ ٤٨

I shall withdraw from you and all that you call upon beside Allah. I shall only call upon my Lord. I trust the prayer to my Lord will not go unanswered."

Main aap logon ko bhi chodhta hoon aur un hastiyon ko bhi jinhein aap log khuda ko chodh kar pukara karte hain. Main to apne Rubb hi ko pukarunga , umeed hai ke main apne Rubb ko pukar ke na-murad na rahunga”

فَلَمَّا اعۡتَزَلَهُمۡ وَمَا يَعۡبُدُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ ۙ وَهَبۡنَا لَهٗۤ اِسۡحٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوۡبَ​ ؕ وَكُلًّا جَعَلۡنَا نَبِيًّا‏ ٤٩

Thereupon Abraham dissociated himself from his people and the deities they worshipped instead of Allah, and We bestowed upon him Isaac and Jacob and made each of them a Prophet;

Pas jab woh un logon se aur unke maboodane gair Allah se juda ho gaya to humne usko Ishaaq aur Yakub jaisi aulad di aur har ek ko Nabi banaya

وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ رَّحۡمَتِنَا وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُمۡ لِسَانَ صِدۡقٍ عَلِيًّا‏  ٥٠

and We bestowed on them Our mercy, and granted them a truly lofty renown.

Aur unko apni rehmat se nawaza aur unko sacchi naamwari ata ki

وَاذۡكُرۡ فِى الۡكِتٰبِ مُوۡسٰٓى​ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ مُخۡلَصًا وَّكَانَ رَسُوۡلًا نَّبِيًّا‏ ٥١

And recite in the Book the account of Moses. He was a chosen one, a Messenger, a Prophet.

Aur zikr karo is kitaab mein Moosa ka, woh ek cheeda (chosen) shaks tha aur Rasool Nabi tha

وَنَادَيۡنٰهُ مِنۡ جَانِبِ الطُّوۡرِ الۡاَيۡمَنِ وَقَرَّبۡنٰهُ نَجِيًّا‏ ٥٢

We called out to him from the right side of the Mount, and We drew him near to Us by communing to him in secret,

Humne usko Tur ke dahini(right) janib se pukara aur raaz ki guftagu se usko takarrub (honour) ata kiya

وَ وَهَبۡنَا لَهٗ مِنۡ رَّحۡمَتِنَاۤ اَخَاهُ هٰرُوۡنَ نَبِيًّا‏ ٥٣

and out of Our mercy We appointed his brother Aaron, a Prophet (that he may assist him).

Aur apni mehrabani se uske bhai Haroon ko Nabi bana kar usey (madadgaar ke taur par) diya

وَاذۡكُرۡ فِى الۡـكِتٰبِ اِسۡمٰعِيۡلَ​ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ صَادِقَ الۡوَعۡدِ وَكَانَ رَسُوۡلًا نَّبِيًّا​ ۚ‏ ٥٤

And recite in the Book the account of Ishmael. He was ever true to his promise, and was a Messenger, a Prophet.

Aur is kitaab mein Ismail ka zir karo, woh wadey ka saccha tha aur Rasool Nabi tha

وَ كَانَ يَاۡمُرُ اَهۡلَهٗ بِالصَّلٰوةِ وَالزَّكٰوةِ وَكَانَ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهٖ مَرۡضِيًّا‏ ٥٥

He enjoined his household to observe Prayer and to give Zakah (purifying alms); and his Lord was well pleased with him.

Woh apne ghar walon ko namaz aur zakat ka hukum deta tha aur apne Rubb ke nazdeek ek pasandeeda Insaan tha

وَاذۡكُرۡ فِى الۡكِتٰبِ اِدۡرِيۡسَ​ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ صِدِّيۡقًا نَّبِيًّا ۙ ‏ ٥٦

And recite in the Book the account of Idris. He was a man of truth, a Prophet;

Aur is kitaab mein Idris ka zikr karo, woh ek raast-baaz (righteous) Insaan aur ek Nabi tha

وَّرَفَعۡنٰهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا‏ ٥٧

and We exalted him to a lofty position.

اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَنۡعَمَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ مِّنَ النَّبِيّٖنَ مِنۡ ذُرِّيَّةِ اٰدَمَ وَمِمَّنۡ حَمَلۡنَا مَعَ نُوۡحٍ وَّمِنۡ ذُرِّيَّةِ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَاِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ وَمِمَّنۡ هَدَيۡنَا وَاجۡتَبَيۡنَا​ ؕ اِذَا تُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِمۡ اٰيٰتُ الرَّحۡمٰنِ خَرُّوۡا سُجَّدًا وَّبُكِيًّا ۩‏ ٥٨

These are the Prophets upon whom Allah bestowed His favour from the seed of Adam, and from the seed of those whom We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and from the seed of Abraham and Israel. They were those whom We guided and chose (for an exalted position). They were such that when the words of the Most Compassionate Lord were recited to them, they fell down in prostration, weeping.

Yeh woh paigambar hain jinpar Allah ne inaam farmaya Adam ki aulad mein se, aur un logon ki nasal se jinhein humne Nooh ke saath kashti par sawaar kiya tha, aur Ibrahim ki nasal se aur Israel ki nasal se aur yeh un logon mein se thay jinko humne hidayat bakshi aur barguzida kiya.Inka haal yeh tha ke jab rehman ki aayat unko sunayi jati to rotey huey sajde mein gir jatey thay

فَخَلَفَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ خَلۡفٌ اَضَاعُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّهَوٰتِ​ فَسَوۡفَ يَلۡقَوۡنَ غَيًّا ۙ‏ ٥٩

They were succeeded by a people who neglected the Prayers and pursued their lusts. They shall presently meet with their doom,

Phir inke baad woh nakhalf (degenerate) log inke jaansaheen (sucessors) huey jinhon ne namaz ko zaya kiya aur khwahishat e nafs ki pairwi ki. Pas qareeb hai ke woh gumraahi ke anjaam se do-char hon

اِلَّا مَنۡ تَابَ وَاٰمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًـا فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يَدۡخُلُوۡنَ الۡجَـنَّةَ وَلَا يُظۡلَمُوۡنَ شَيۡــًٔـا ۙ‏ ٦٠

except those who repent and believe and act righteously. Such shall enter Paradise and shall not be wronged at all.

Albatta jo tawba karlein aur iman le aayein aur neik amali ikhtiyar karlein woh jannat mein dakhil hongey aur unki zarra barabar haqq talafi na hogi

جَنّٰتِ عَدۡنٍ اۨلَّتِىۡ وَعَدَ الرَّحۡمٰنُ عِبَادَهٗ بِالۡغَيۡبِ​ ؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ وَعۡدُهٗ مَاۡتِيًّا‏ ٦١

Theirs shall be everlasting Gardens which the Most Compassionate Lord has promised His servants in a realm which is beyond the ken of perception. Surely His promise shall he fulfilled.

Inke liye hamesha rehne wali jannatein hain jinka rehman ne apne bandon se dar-purda wada kar rakkha hai aur yaqeenan yeh wada poora hokar rehna hai

لَّا يَسۡمَعُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا لَـغۡوًا اِلَّا سَلٰمًا​ؕ وَلَهُمۡ رِزۡقُهُمۡ فِيۡهَا بُكۡرَةً وَّعَشِيًّا‏ ٦٢

They shall not hear in it anything vain; they shall hear only what is good; and they shall have their provision in it, morning and evening.

Wahan woh koi behuda baat na sunenge , jo kuch bhi sunenge theek hi sunenge aur unka rizq unhein paiham subh-o-shaam milta rahega

تِلۡكَ الۡجَـنَّةُ الَّتِىۡ نُوۡرِثُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا مَنۡ كَانَ تَقِيًّا‏  ٦٣

Such is the Paradise which We shall cause those of Our servants who have been God-fearing to inherit.

Yeh hai woh jannat jiska waris hum apne bandon mein se usko banayenge jo parheizgaar raha hai

وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ اِلَّا بِاَمۡرِ رَبِّكَ​ ۚ لَهٗ مَا بَيۡنَ اَيۡدِيۡنَا وَمَا خَلۡفَنَا وَمَا بَيۡنَ ذٰ لِكَ​ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّا​ ۚ‏ ٦٤

(The angels will say): "(O Muhammad!) We descend not except by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us, and all that is in between. Your Lord is not forgetful in the least.

(Aey Muhammad), hum tumhare Rubb ke hukum ke bagair nahin utra karte, jo kuch hamare aage hai aur jo kuch peechey hai aur jo kuch iske darmiyan mein hai har cheez ka maalik wahi hai aur tumhara Rubb bhoolne wala nahin hai

رَّبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فَاعۡبُدۡهُ وَاصۡطَبِرۡ لِـعِبَادَتِهٖ​ؕ هَلۡ تَعۡلَمُ لَهٗ سَمِيًّا‏ ٦٥

He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between. Serve Him, then, and be constant in serving Him. Do you know anyone that might be His compeer?"

Woh Rubb hai aasmano ka aur zameen ka aur un saari cheezon ka jo aasman o zameen ke darmiyan hain, pas tum uski bandagi karo aur usi ki bangadi par sabit qadam raho. Kya hai koi hasti tumhare ilm mein iski hum paya (equal in rank to him)

وَيَقُوۡلُ الۡاِنۡسَانُ ءَاِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوۡفَ اُخۡرَجُ حَيًّا‏ ٦٦

Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?"

Insaan kehta hai kya waqai jab main mar chukunga to phir zinda karke nikal laya jaunga

اَوَلَا يَذۡكُرُ الۡاِنۡسَانُ اَنَّا خَلَقۡنٰهُ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ وَلَمۡ يَكُ شَيۡـًٔـا‏  ٦٧

Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing?

Kya Insaan ko yaad nahin aata ke hum pehle usko paida kar chuke hain jabke woh kuch bhi na tha

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَـنَحۡشُرَنَّهُمۡ وَالشَّيٰطِيۡنَ ثُمَّ لَــنُحۡضِرَنَّهُمۡ حَوۡلَ جَهَـنَّمَ جِثِيًّا​ ۚ‏ ٦٨

By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell,

Tere Rubb ki kasam , hum zaroor un sab ko aur unke saath shayateen ko bhi gher layenge, phir jahannum ke gird laa kar inhein ghutno (knees) ke bal gira denge

ثُمَّ لَـنَنۡزِعَنَّ مِنۡ كُلِّ شِيۡعَةٍ اَيُّهُمۡ اَشَدُّ عَلَى الرَّحۡمٰنِ عِتِيًّا​ ۚ‏ ٦٩

and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord,

Phir har giroh mein se har us shaks ko chaant lenge (pick out) jo rehman ke muqable mein zyada sarkash bana hua tha

ثُمَّ لَـنَحۡنُ اَعۡلَمُ بِالَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ اَوۡلٰى بِهَا صِلِيًّا‏ ٧٠

and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell.

Phir hum yeh jaante hain ke in mein se kaun sabse badhkar jahannum mein jhonke janey ka mustahiq hai

وَاِنۡ مِّنْکُمْ اِلَّا وَارِدُهَا ​ؕ كَانَ عَلٰى رَبِّكَ حَتۡمًا مَّقۡضِيًّا​ ۚ‏ ٧١

There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil.

Tum mein se koi nahin hai jo jahannum par warid na ho,yeh to ek tai shuda baat hai jisey pura karna tere Rubb ka zimma hai

ثُمَّ نُـنَجِّى الَّذِيۡنَ اتَّقَوْا وَّنَذَرُ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ فِيۡهَا جِثِيًّا‏  ٧٢

Then We shall deliver those that feared Allah and leave the wrong-doers there on their knees.

Phir hum un logon ko bacha lenge jo (duniya mein ) muttaqi thay aur zalimon ko usi mein gira hua chodh denge
