Surah 64

064 surah

يُسَبِّحُ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ​ۚ لَهُ الۡمُلۡكُ وَلَهُ الۡحَمۡدُ​ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ‏ ١

All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth extols Allah's glory. His is the sovereignty and to Him is all praise due; He has power over everything.

Allah ki tasbeeh kar rahi hai har woh cheez jo aasmano mein hai aur har woh cheez jo zameen mein hai usi ki baadshahi hai aur usi ke liye tareef hai aur woh har cheez par qadir hai

هُوَ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَكُمۡ فَمِنۡكُمۡ كَافِرٌ وَّمِنۡكُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنٌ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ بَصِيۡرٌ‏ ٢

He it is Who has created you: and among you are those that deny the Truth and among you are those that believe in it. Allah observes all that you do.

Wahi hai jisne tumko paida kiya, phir tum mein se koi kafir hai aur koi momin. Aur Allah woh sab kuch dekh raha hai jo tum karte ho

— Abul Ala Maududi (Roman Urdu)

خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ بِالۡحَـقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمۡ​ فَاَحۡسَنَ صُوَرَكُمۡۚ​ وَاِلَيۡهِ الۡمَصِيۡرُ‏ ٣

He created the heavens and the earth with Truth and shaped you, giving you excellent shapes. And to Him is your ultimate return.

Usne zameen aur aasmano ko barhaqq paida kiya hai, aur tumhari surat banayi aur badi umdah (excellent) banayi hai, aur usi ki taraf aakhir-e-kaar tumhein palatna hai

يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّوۡنَ وَمَا تُعۡلِنُوۡنَ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيۡمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوۡرِ‏ ٤

He knows what is in the heavens and the earth, and knows what you conceal and what you disclose. Allah even knows what lies hidden in the breasts of people.

Zameen aur aasmano ki har cheez ka usey ilm hai jo kuch tum chupatey ho aur jo kuch tum zaahir karte ho sab us ko maloom hai. Aur woh dilon ka haal tak jaanta hai

اَلَمۡ يَاۡتِكُمۡ نَبَـؤُا الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ فَذَاقُوۡا وَبَالَ اَمۡرِهِمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ‏ ٥

Has the news of the unbelievers of the past not reached you? (They disbelieved) and then tasted its evil consequence. A grievous chastisement awaits them.

kya tumhein un logon ki koi khabar nahi pahunchi jinhon ne issey pehle kufar kiya aur phir apni shamat-e-aamaal (evil consequence) ka maza chakkh liya? aur aagey unke liye ek dardnaak azaab hai

ذٰ لِكَ بِاَنَّهٗ كَانَتۡ تَّاۡتِيۡهِمۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ فَقَالُوۡۤا اَبَشَرٌ يَّهۡدُوۡنَـنَا فَكَفَرُوۡا وَتَوَلَّوْا​ وَّاسۡتَغۡنَى اللّٰهُ​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيۡدٌ‏ ٦

This was because their Messengers would come to them with Clear Signs, but they would say: “Shall mortals (like ourselves) guide us to the Right Way?” They rejected the Truth and turned away. Thereupon Allah became unconcerned with them, for Allah is Self-Sufficient, Innately Praiseworthy.

Is anjaam ke mustahiq woh is liye huey ke unke paas unke Rasool khuli khuli daleelein (clear signs) aur nishaniyan lekar aate rahey, magar unhon ne kaha" kya Insan humein hadayat deinge ?" Is tarah unhon ne maanne se inkaar kardiya aur mooh pheir liya. Tab Allah bhi unsey be-parwa ho gaya aur Allah to hai hi be niyaz aur apni zaat mein aap Mahmood (Praiseworthy)

زَعَمَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡۤا اَنۡ لَّنۡ يُّبۡـعَـثُـوۡا​ ؕ قُلۡ بَلٰى وَرَبِّىۡ لَـتُبۡـعَـثُـنَّ ثُمَّ لَـتُنَـبَّـؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلۡـتُمۡ​ؕ وَذٰ لِكَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ يَسِيۡرٌ‏ ٧

The unbelievers have vehemently contended that they shall not be raised to life. Say to them: “Yes, by my Lord, you shall surely be raised to life, and you shall certainly be fully informed of all that you did. That is easy enough for Allah.”

Munkireen ne badey dawey se kaha hai ke woh marne ke baad hargiz dobara na uthaye jayenge. Insey kaho" nahin, mere Rubb ki kasam tum zaroor uthaye jaogey, phir zaroor tumhein bataya jayega ke tumne (duniya mein) kya kuch kiya hai aur aisa karna Allah ke liye bahut aasaan hai

فَاٰمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوۡلِهٖ وَالنُّوۡرِ الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ خَبِيۡرٌ‏ ٨

So believe in Allah and in His Messenger and in the Light that We have sent down. Allah is fully aware of what you do.

Pas iman lao Allah par, aur uske Rasool par, aur us roshni par jo humne nazil ki hai. Jo kuch tum karte ho Allah usse bakhabar hai

يَوۡمَ يَجۡمَعُكُمۡ لِيَوۡمِ الۡجَمۡعِ​ ذٰ لِكَ يَوۡمُ التَّغَابُنِ​ ؕ وَمَنۡ يُّؤۡمِنۡۢ بِاللّٰهِ وَيَعۡمَلۡ صَالِحًـا يُّكَفِّرۡ عَنۡهُ سَيِّاٰتِهٖ وَيُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَاۤ اَبَدًا​ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ الۡفَوۡزُ الۡعَظِیْمُ‏ ٩

(You shall come to know that) when He will assemble you on the Day of Gathering. That shall be the Day (to determine) mutual gains and losses. Whoever believes in Allah and acts righteously, Allah will have his evil deeds expunged and will admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow. Therein they shall abide forever. That is the supreme triumph.

(Iska pata tumhein us roz chal jayega ) jab ijtima (will assemble you )ke din woh tum sabko ikattha karega. Woh din hoga ek dusre ke muqable mein logon ki haar jeet ka. Jo Allah par iman laya hai aur neik amal karta hai, Allah uske gunah jhaad dega aur usey aisi jannaton mein daakhil karega jinke nichey nehrein behti hongi. Yeh log hamesha hamesha inmein rahenge. Yahi badi kamiyabi hai

وَالَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَكَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَاۤ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ اَصۡحٰبُ النَّارِ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَا​ ؕ وَبِئۡسَ الۡمَصِيۡرُ‏ ١٠

As for those who disbelieved and gave the lie to Our Signs: they shall be the inmates of the Fire, and will abide in it. That is a woeful resort!

Aur jin logon ne kufr kiya hai aur hamari aayaat ko jhutlaya hai woh dozakh ke bashindey(inmates ) honge, jismein woh hamesha rahenge. Aur woh badhtareen thikana hai

مَاۤ اَصَابَ مِنۡ مُّصِيۡبَةٍ اِلَّا بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰهِ​ؕ وَمَنۡ يُّؤۡمِنۡۢ بِاللّٰهِ يَهۡدِ قَلۡبَهٗ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيۡمٌ‏ ١١

No misfortune ever befalls unless it be by Allah's leave. And whosoever has faith in Allah, Allah directs his heart along the Right Path. Allah has knowledge of everything.

Koi museebat kabhi nahi aati magar Allah ke izan(Allah’s leave) hi se aati hai. Jo shakhs Allah par iman rakhta ho Allah uske dil ko hidayat bakshta hai. Aur Allah ko har cheez ka ilm hai

— Abul Ala Maududi (Roman Urdu)

وَاَطِيۡعُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيۡعُوا الرَّسُوۡلَ​ۚ فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ فَاِنَّمَا عَلٰى رَسُوۡلِنَا الۡبَلٰغُ الۡمُبِيۡنُ‏ ١٢

Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. But if you turn away from obedience, (then know that) Our Messenger has no other duty than to clearly convey the Truth.

Allah ki itaat karo aur Rasool ki itaat karo lekin agar tum itaat se mooh moadtey ho to hamarey Rasool par saaf saaf haqq pahuncha dene ke siwa koi zimmedari nahin hai

اَللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ​ؕ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ‏  ١٣

Allah there is no god but He; in Allah should the believers put all their trust.

Allah woh hai jiske siwa koi khuda nahin, lihaza iman laney walon ko Allah hi par bharosa rakhna chahiye

— Abul Ala Maududi (Roman Urdu)

​يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنَّ مِنۡ اَزۡوَاجِكُمۡ وَاَوۡلَادِكُمۡ عَدُوًّا لَّكُمۡ فَاحۡذَرُوۡهُمۡ​ۚ وَاِنۡ تَعۡفُوۡا وَتَصۡفَحُوۡا وَتَغۡفِرُوۡا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏ ١٤

Believers, there are enemies to you from among your spouses and your off-spring, so beware of them. But if you forgive and overlook their offences and pardon them, then surely Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Compassionate.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, tumhari biwiyon aur tumhari aulad mein se baaz tumhare dushman hain, Inse hoshiyar raho. Aur agar tum Affu-o-darguzar(forgive and overlook) se kaam lo aur maaf kardo to Allah gafoor-o-Raheem hai

— Abul Ala Maududi (Roman Urdu)

اِنَّمَاۤ اَمۡوَالُـكُمۡ وَاَوۡلَادُكُمۡ فِتۡنَةٌ ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عِنۡدَهٗۤ اَجۡرٌ عَظِيۡمٌ‏ ١٥

Your possessions and your offspring are nothing but a trial for you. And there awaits a great reward for you with Allah.

Tumhare maal aur tumhari aulad to ek aazmaish hai, aur Allah hi hai jiske paas bada ajar hai

— Abul Ala Maududi (Roman Urdu)

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ مَا اسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ وَاسۡمَعُوۡا وَاَطِيۡعُوۡا وَاَنۡفِقُوۡا خَيۡرًا لِّاَنۡفُسِكُمۡ​ؕ وَمَنۡ يُّوۡقَ شُحَّ نَفۡسِهٖ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡمُفۡلِحُوۡنَ‏  ١٦

So hold Allah in awe as much as you can, and listen and obey, and be charitable. This is for your own good. And whoever remains safe from his own greediness, it is such that will prosper.

lihaza jahan tak tumhare bas mein ho Allah se darte raho, aur suno aur itaat karo, aur apne maal kharch karo, yeh tumhare hi liye behtar hai. Jo apne dil ki tanggi se mehfooz reh gaye bas wahi falaah paney waley hain

اِنۡ تُقۡرِضُوا اللّٰهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنًا يُّضٰعِفۡهُ لَـكُمۡ وَيَغۡفِرۡ لَـكُمۡ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ شَكُوۡرٌ حَلِيۡمٌۙ‏ ١٧

If you give Allah a goodly loan, He will increase it for you several fold and will forgive you. Allah is Most Appreciative, Most Forbearing.

Agar tum Allah ko qarz-e-hasan do to woh tumhein kai guna (several fold) badha kar dega aur tumhare kasooron se dar guzar farmayega. Allah bada qadardaan aur burdbar (Most Forbearing) hai

عٰلِمُ الۡغَيۡبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ‏ ١٨

He knows that which is beyond the ken of perception as well as that which can be perceived. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise.

Haazir aur gayab har cheez ko jaanta hai, zabardast (mighty) aur daana(Most Wise) hai
