Surah 94

094 surah

اَلَمۡ نَشۡرَحۡ لَـكَ صَدۡرَكَۙ‏ ١

(O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast

(Aey Nabi) kya humne tumhara seena tumhare liye khol nahin diya

وَوَضَعۡنَا عَنۡكَ وِزۡرَكَۙ‏ ٢

and relieve you of the burden

Aur tumpar se woh bhari bojh utar diya

الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡقَضَ ظَهۡرَكَۙ‏ ٣

that had well-nigh broken your back?

Jo tumhari qamar todhe daal raha tha

وَرَفَعۡنَا لَـكَ ذِكۡرَكَؕ‏ ٤

And did We not exalt your fame?

Aur tumhare khatir tumharey zikr ka awazah buland kar diya

فَاِنَّ مَعَ الۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا ۙ‏ ٥

Indeed, there is ease with hardship.

Pas haqeeqat yeh hai kay tangi kay saat farakhi bhi hai

اِنَّ مَعَ الۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا ؕ‏ ٦

Most certainly, there is ease with hardship.

Beshak tangi kay saath farakhi bhi hai

فَاِذَا فَرَغۡتَ فَانۡصَبۡۙ‏ ٧

So, whenever you are free, strive in devotion,

Lihaza jab tum faarig ho to Ibadat ki mushakkat mei lag jao

وَاِلٰى رَبِّكَ فَارۡغَب‏ ٨

and turn to your Lord with longing.

Aur apne Rubb ki taraf raagib ho
