Surah 97

097 surah

اِنَّاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنٰهُ فِىۡ لَيۡلَةِ الۡقَدۡرِ ۖ ۚ‏ ١

Behold, We revealed this (Qur'an) on the Night of Power.

Humne is (Quran) ko shab-e-qadr mei nazil kiya hai

وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ الۡقَدۡرِؕ‏ ٢

And what do you know what the Night of Power is?

Aur tum kya jano kay shab-e-qadr kya hai

لَيۡلَةُ الۡقَدۡرِ  ۙ خَيۡرٌ مِّنۡ اَلۡفِ شَهۡرٍؕ‏ ٣

The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.

Shab-e-qadr hazar mahino se zyada behtar hai

تَنَزَّلُ الۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةُ وَالرُّوۡحُ فِيۡهَا بِاِذۡنِ رَبِّهِمۡ​ۚ مِّنۡ كُلِّ اَمۡرٍ ۛۙ‏ ٤

The angels along with the Spirit descend in it by the permission of their Lord with all kinds of decrees.

Farishtey aur rooh(Jibrael) us mein apne Rubb ke izn(permission) se har hukm le kar utarte hai

سَلٰمٌ   ۛهِىَ حَتّٰى مَطۡلَعِ الۡفَجۡرِ‏ ٥

All peace is that night until the rise of dawn.
