Surah 5

005 surah

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَوۡفُوۡا بِالۡعُقُوۡدِ​ ؕ اُحِلَّتۡ لَـكُمۡ بَهِيۡمَةُ الۡاَنۡعَامِ اِلَّا مَا يُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡكُمۡ غَيۡرَ مُحِلِّى الصَّيۡدِ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ حُرُمٌ​ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَحۡكُمُ مَا يُرِيۡدُ‏ ١

Believers! Honour your bonds! All grazing beasts of the flock are permitted to you except those which are recited to you hereinafter, but you are not allowed to hunt in the state of Ihram (a state of pilgrim sanctity). Indeed Allah decrees as He wills.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, bandishon ki puri pabandi karo, tumhare liye maweshi ki qisam ke sab jaanwar halaal kiye gaye, siwaye unke jo aagey chalkar tumko bataye jayenge, lekin ehram ki halat mein shikar ko apne liye halal na karlo. Beshak Allah jo chahta hai hukum deta hai

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تُحِلُّوۡا شَعَآٮِٕرَ اللّٰهِ وَلَا الشَّهۡرَ الۡحَـرَامَ وَلَا الۡهَدۡىَ وَلَا الۡقَلَٓاٮِٕدَ وَلَاۤ آٰمِّيۡنَ الۡبَيۡتَ الۡحَـرَامَ يَبۡـتَغُوۡنَ فَضۡلًا مِّنۡ رَّبِّهِمۡ وَرِضۡوَانًا ​ؕ وَاِذَا حَلَلۡتُمۡ فَاصۡطَادُوۡا​ ؕ وَلَا يَجۡرِمَنَّكُمۡ شَنَاٰنُ قَوۡمٍ اَنۡ صَدُّوۡكُمۡ عَنِ الۡمَسۡجِدِ الۡحَـرَامِ اَنۡ تَعۡتَدُوۡا​ ۘ وَتَعَاوَنُوۡا عَلَى الۡبِرِّ وَالتَّقۡوٰى​ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوۡا عَلَى الۡاِثۡمِ وَالۡعُدۡوَانِ​ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ ​ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ شَدِيۡدُ الۡعِقَابِ‏ ٢

Believers! Neither desecrate the symbols of (devotion to) Allah, nor the holy month, nor the animals of offering, nor the animals wearing collars indicating they are for sacrifice, nor ill-treat those who have set out for the Holy House seeking from their Lord His bounty and good pleasure. But once you are free from Pilgrimage obligations, you are free to hunt. Do not let your wrath against the people who have barred you from the Holy Mosque move you to commit undue transgressions; rather, help one another in acts of righteousness and piety, and do not help one another in sin and transgression. Fear Allah. Surely Allah is severe in retribution.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, khuda parasti ki nishaniyon ko be-hurmat na karo, na haram mahino(months) mein se kisi ko halal karlo, na qurbaani ke jaanwaron par dast darazi karo, na un jaanwaron par haath daalo jinki gardano mein nazar e khuda-wandi ki alamat ke taur par pattey padey (wearing collars) huey hon, na un logon ko chedo jo apne Rubb ke fazal aur uski khushnudi ki talash mein makaan-e-mohtaram (kaaba) ki taraf jaa rahey hon. Haan jab ehram ki halat khatam ho jaye to shikar tum kar sakte ho aur dekho ek giroh ne jo tumhare liye masjid e haraam ka rasta bandh kardiya hai to ispar tumhara gussa tumhein itna mushtail na karde ke tum bhi unke muqable mein narawa zyadatiyan karne lago. Nahin! Jo kaam neki aur khuda tarsi ke hain un sab mein taawun (help one another) karo aur jo gunaah aur zyadati ke kaam hain unmein kisi se taawun (help one another) na karo. Allah se daro, uski saza bahut sakht hai

حُرِّمَتۡ عَلَيۡكُمُ الۡمَيۡتَةُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحۡمُ الۡخِنۡزِيۡرِ وَمَاۤ اُهِلَّ لِغَيۡرِ اللّٰهِ بِهٖ وَالۡمُنۡخَنِقَةُ وَالۡمَوۡقُوۡذَةُ وَالۡمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَالنَّطِيۡحَةُ وَمَاۤ اَكَلَ السَّبُعُ اِلَّا مَا ذَكَّيۡتُمۡ وَمَا ذُ بِحَ عَلَى النُّصُبِ وَاَنۡ تَسۡتَقۡسِمُوۡا بِالۡاَزۡلَامِ​ ؕ ذٰ لِكُمۡ فِسۡقٌ​ ؕ اَلۡيَوۡمَ يَٮِٕسَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ دِيۡـنِكُمۡ فَلَا تَخۡشَوۡهُمۡ وَاخۡشَوۡنِ​ ؕ اَ لۡيَوۡمَ اَكۡمَلۡتُ لَـكُمۡ دِيۡنَكُمۡ وَاَ تۡمَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ نِعۡمَتِىۡ وَرَضِيۡتُ لَـكُمُ الۡاِسۡلَامَ دِيۡنًا​ ؕ فَمَنِ اضۡطُرَّ فِىۡ مَخۡمَصَةٍ غَيۡرَ مُتَجَانِفٍ لِّاِثۡمٍ​ۙ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏‏ ٣

Forbidden to you are carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, the animal slaughtered in any name other than Allah's, the animal which has either been strangled, killed by blows, has died of a fall, by goring or that devoured by a beast of prey - unless it be that which you yourselves might have slaughtered while it was still alive - and that which was slaughtered at the altars.- You are also forbidden to seek knowledge of your fate by divining arrows. All these are sinful acts. This day the unbelievers have fully despaired of your religion. Do not fear them; but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion, and have bestowed upon you My bounty in full measure, and have been pleased to assign for you Islam as your religion. (Follow, then, the lawful and unlawful bounds enjoined upon you.) As for he who is driven by hunger, without being wilfully inclined to sin, surely Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate.

Tumpar haram kiya gaya murdar(carrion/dead meat), khoon, suwar ka gosht, woh jaanwar jo khuda ke siwa kisi aur ke naam par zibah kiya gaya ho, woh jo gala ghunt(strangulate) kar , ya chot (wound) kha kar, ya bulandi se gir kar, ya takkar kha kar mara ho, ya jisey kisi darinde ne phada ho siwaye uske jisey tumne zinda paa kar zibah karliya, aur woh jo kisi aastaane(altars) par zibah kiya gaya ho, neiz yeh bhi tumhare liye najayiz hai ke paanson ke zariye se apni kismat maloom karo(your fate by divining arrows). Yeh sab afaal fisq (sinful acts) hain. Aaj kaafrion ko tumhare deen ki taraf se poori mayousi ho chuki hai lihaza tum unsey na daro balke mujhse daro. Aaj maine tumhare deen ko tumhare liye mukammal kardiya hai aur apni niyamat tumpar tamaam kardi hai aur tumhare liye Islam ko tumhare deen ki haisiyat se qabool karliya hai. (Lihaza haram o halal ki jo quyood tumpar aayad kardi gayi hain unki pabandi karo) albatta jo shaks bhook se majboor hokar unmein se koi cheez kha le , bagair iske ke gunaah ki taraf uska mailan(wilfully inclined) ho to beshak Allah maaf karne wala aur reham farmane wala hai

يَسۡـَٔـــلُوۡنَكَ مَاذَاۤ اُحِلَّ لَهُمۡ​ؕ قُلۡ اُحِلَّ لَـكُمُ الطَّيِّبٰتُ​ ۙ وَمَا عَلَّمۡتُمۡ مِّنَ الۡجَـوَارِحِ مُكَلِّبِيۡنَ تُعَلِّمُوۡنَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ اللّٰهُ​ فَكُلُوۡا مِمَّاۤ اَمۡسَكۡنَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَاذۡكُرُوا اسۡمَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡهِ​ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ​ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَرِيۡعُ الۡحِسَابِ‏ ٤

They ask you what has been made lawful to them. Say: 'All clean things have been made lawful to you, and such hunting animals as you teach, training them to hunt, teaching them the knowledge Allah has given you - you may eat what they catch for you - but invoke the name of Allah on it. Have fear of Allah (in violating His Law). Allah is swift in His reckoning.'

Log puchte hain ke unke liye kya halal kiya gaya hai, kaho tumhare liye sari paak cheezein halal kardi gayi hain aur jin shikari jaanwaron ko tumne sadhaya ho (teach, training them to hunt) jinko khuda ke diye huey ilam ki bina par tum shikar ki taleem diya karte ho, woh jis jaanwar ko tumhare liye pakad rakkhein usko bhi tum kha sakte ho, albatta uspar Allah ka naam lelo aur Allah ka kanoon todne se daro.Allah ko hisaab lete kuch dair nahin lagti

اَلۡيَوۡمَ اُحِلَّ لَـكُمُ الطَّيِّبٰتُ​ ؕ وَطَعَامُ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوۡا الۡكِتٰبَ حِلٌّ لَّـکُمۡ وَطَعَامُكُمۡ حِلٌّ لَّهُمۡ​ وَالۡمُحۡصَنٰتُ مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِ وَالۡمُحۡصَنٰتُ مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡـكِتٰبَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡ اِذَاۤ اٰتَيۡتُمُوۡهُنَّ اُجُوۡرَهُنَّ مُحۡصِنِيۡنَ غَيۡرَ مُسَافِحِيۡنَ وَلَا مُتَّخِذِىۡۤ اَخۡدَانٍ​ؕ وَمَنۡ يَّكۡفُرۡ بِالۡاِيۡمَانِ فَقَدۡ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهٗ وَهُوَ فِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ مِنَ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ‏  ٥

This day all good things have been made lawful to you. The food of the People of the Book is permitted to you, and your food is permitted to them. And permitted to you are chaste women, be they either from among the believers or from among those who have received the Book before you,provided you become their protectors in wedlock after paying them their bridal-due, rather than go around committing fornication and taking them as secret-companions. The work of he who refuses to follow the way of faith will go waste, and he will be among the utter losers in the Hereafter.

Aaj tumhare liye sari paak cheezein halal kardi gayi hain, ehle kitab ka khana tumhare liye halal hai aur tumhara khana unke liye aur mehfooz auratein bhi tumhare liye halal hain khwa woh ehle iman ke giroh se hon ya un qaumon mein se jinko tumse pehle kitaab di gayi thi, bashart-ye-ke tum unke mehar ada karke nikah mein unke muhafiz (protectors) bano, na yeh ke azad shehwat (lust) rani karne lago ya chori chupe ashnaiyan karo. Aur jo kisi ne iman ki rawish par chalne se inkar kiya to uska sara karnama e zindagi zaye ho jayega aur woh aakhirat mein diwaliya (among the utter losers) hoga

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِذَا قُمۡتُمۡ اِلَى الصَّلٰوةِ فَاغۡسِلُوۡا وُجُوۡهَكُمۡ وَاَيۡدِيَكُمۡ اِلَى الۡمَرَافِقِ وَامۡسَحُوۡا بِرُءُوۡسِكُمۡ وَاَرۡجُلَكُمۡ اِلَى الۡـكَعۡبَيۡنِ​ ؕ وَاِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّرُوۡا​ ؕ وَاِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ مَّرۡضَىٰۤ اَوۡ عَلٰى سَفَرٍ اَوۡ جَآءَ اَحَدٌ مِّنۡكُمۡ مِّنَ الۡغَآٮِٕطِ اَوۡ لٰمَسۡتُمُ النِّسَآءَ فَلَمۡ تَجِدُوۡا مَآءً فَتَيَمَّمُوۡا صَعِيۡدًا طَيِّبًا فَامۡسَحُوۡا بِوُجُوۡهِكُمۡ وَاَيۡدِيۡكُمۡ مِّنۡهُ​ ؕ مَا يُرِيۡدُ اللّٰهُ لِيَجۡعَلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ حَرَجٍ وَّلٰـكِنۡ يُّرِيۡدُ لِيُطَهِّرَكُمۡ وَ لِيُتِمَّ نِعۡمَتَهٗ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ‏ ٦

Believers! When you stand up for Prayer wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, and wipe your heads, and wash your feet up to the ankles. And if you are in the state of ritual impurity, purify yourselves (by taking a bath). But if you are either ill, travelling, have satisfied a want of nature or have had contact with women and find no water then have recourse to clean earth and wipe your faces and your hands therewith. Allah does not want to lay any hardship upon you; rather He wants to purify you and complete His favours upon you so that you may give thanks.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, jab tum namaz ke liye utho to chahiye ke apne mooh aur haath kohniyon tak dho lo, siron(heads) par haath pher lo aur paon takno tak dho liya karo, agar janabat ki halat mein ho to naha kar paak ho jao , agar bimaar ho ya safar ki halat mein ho ya tum mein se koi shaks rafe hajat(reliving himself) karke aaye ya tumne auraton ko haath lagaya ho, aur pani na miley, to paak mitti se kaam lo, bas uspar haath maar kar apne mooh aur haathon par pher liya karo. Allah tumpar zindagi ko tangg nahin karna chahta, magar woh chahta hai ke tumhein paak karey aur apni niyamat tumpar tamaam karde, shayad ke tum shukarguzar bano

وَاذْکُرُوْ انِعْمَةَ اللهِ عَلَیْکُمْ وَمِیْثَاقَهُ الَّذِیْ وَاثَقَکُمْ بِهۤ ۙ اِذْقُلْتُمْ سَمِعْنَا وَاَطَعْنَا وَاتَّقُوا اللهَ ؕ اِنَّ اللهَ عَلِیْمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ‏ ٧

Remember Allah's favour upon you and His covenant which He made with you when you said: 'We have heard and we obey.' So do fear Allah. Allah has full knowledge even of that which is hidden in the breasts of people.

Allah ne tumko jo niyamat ata ki hai uska khayal rakkho aur us pukhta ahad ko na bhoolo jo usne tumse liya hai, yani tumhara yeh qaul ke , “humne suna aur itaat qabool ki” Allah se daro , Allah dilon ke raaz jaanta hai

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا كُوۡنُوۡا قَوَّا امِيۡنَ لِلّٰهِ شُهَدَآءَ بِالۡقِسۡطِ​ وَلَا يَجۡرِمَنَّكُمۡ شَنَاٰنُ قَوۡمٍ عَلٰٓى اَ لَّا تَعۡدِلُوۡا​ ؕ اِعۡدِلُوۡا هُوَ اَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوٰى​ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ​ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ خَبِيۡرٌۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏ ٨

Believers! Be upright bearers of witness for Allah, and do not let the enmity of any people move you to deviate from justice. Act justly, that is nearer to God-fearing. And fear Allah. Surely Allah is well aware of what you do.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho! Allah ki khatir raasti (upright) par qayam rehne waley aur insaf ki gawahi dene waley bano, kisi giroh ki dushmani tumko itna mushtail (move) na karde ke insaf se phir jao. Adal (insaf) karo, yeh khuda tarsi se zyada munasibat rakhta hai, Allah se darr kar kaam karte raho, jo kuch tum karte ho Allah ussey puri tarah ba-khabar hai

وَعَدَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ​ ۙ لَهُمۡ مَّغۡفِرَةٌ وَّاَجۡرٌ عَظِيۡمٌ‏ ٩

Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness from sins and a great reward.

Jo log iman layein aur neik amal karein, Allah ne unsey wada kiya hai ke unki khataon se darguzar kiya jayega aur unhein bada ajar milega

— Abul Ala Maududi (Roman Urdu)

وَالَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَكَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَاۤ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡجَحِيۡمِ‏  ١٠

As for those who disbelieve and give the lie to Our signs, they are destined for the Blazing Flame.

Rahey woh log jo kufr karein aur Allah ki aayat ko jhutlayein , to woh dozakh mein janey waley hain

— Abul Ala Maududi (Roman Urdu)

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اذۡكُرُوۡا نِعۡمَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اِذۡ هَمَّ قَوۡمٌ اَنۡ يَّبۡسُطُوۡۤا اِلَيۡكُمۡ اَيۡدِيَهُمۡ فَكَفَّ اَيۡدِيَهُمۡ عَنۡكُمۡ​ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ​ ؕ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ‏ ١١

Believers! Remember Allah's favour upon you. When a certain people decided to stretch their hands against you, He restrained their hands from you. Do fear Allah. Men of faith should put their trust in Allah alone.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, Allah ke us ehsan ko yaad karo jo usne (abhi haal mein) tumpar kiya hai, jabke ek giroh ne tumpar dast darazi (stretch their hands against you) ka irada karliya tha, magar Allah ne unke haath tumpar uthne se roak diye, Allah se darr kar kaam karte raho, iman rakhne walon ko Allah hi par bharosa karna chahiye

وَلَقَدۡ اَخَذَ اللّٰهُ مِيۡثَاقَ بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرآءِيۡلَ​ۚ وَبَعَثۡنَا مِنۡهُمُ اثۡنَىۡ عَشَرَ نَقِيۡبًا​ ؕ وَقَالَ اللّٰهُ اِنِّىۡ مَعَكُمۡ​ؕ لَٮِٕنۡ اَقَمۡتُمُ الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتَيۡتُمُ الزَّكٰوةَ وَاٰمَنۡتُمۡ بِرُسُلِىۡ وَعَزَّرۡتُمُوۡهُمۡ وَاَقۡرَضۡتُمُ اللّٰهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنًا لَّاُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنۡكُمۡ سَيِّاٰتِكُمۡ وَلَاُدۡخِلَـنَّكُمۡ جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ​ۚ فَمَنۡ كَفَرَ بَعۡدَ ذٰ لِكَ مِنۡكُمۡ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ السَّبِيۡلِ‏ ١٢

Surely Allah took a covenant with the Children of Israel, and We raised up from them twelve of their leaders, and Allah said: 'Behold, I am with you; if you establish Prayer and pay Zakah and believe in My Prophets and help them, and lend Allah a good loan, I will certainly efface from you your evil deeds, and will surely cause you to enter the Gardens beneath which rivers flow. Whosoever of you disbelieves thereafter has indeed gone astray from the right way.

Allah ne bani Israel se pukhta ahad liya tha aur in mein barah (twelve) naqeeb(leaders) muqarrar kiye thay aur unse kaha tha ke “main tumhare saath hoon, agar tumne namaz qayam rakkhi aur zakaat di aur mere Rasoolon ko maana ar unki madad ki aur apne khuda ko accha qarz dete rahey to yaqeen rakkho ke main tumhari buraiyan tumse zayal (wipe out) kardunga aur tumko aisey baaghon (gardens) mein dakhil karunga jinke nichey nehrein behti hongi, magar iske baad jisne tum mein se kufr ki rawish ikhtiyar ki to dar haqeeqat usne swa-sabeel gum kardi (gone astray from the right way)”

فَبِمَا نَقۡضِهِمۡ مِّيۡثَاقَهُمۡ لَعَنّٰهُمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَا قُلُوۡبَهُمۡ قٰسِيَةً​ ۚ يُحَرِّفُوۡنَ الۡـكَلِمَ عَنۡ مَّوَاضِعِهٖ​ۙ وَنَسُوۡا حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوۡا بِهٖۚ وَلَا تَزَالُ تَطَّلِعُ عَلٰى خَآٮِٕنَةٍ مِّنۡهُمۡ اِلَّا قَلِيۡلًا مِّنۡهُمۡ​ فَاعۡفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَاصۡفَحۡ​ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ‏ ١٣

Then, for their breach of the covenant We cast them away from Our mercy and caused their hearts to harden. (And now they are in such a state that) they pervert the words from their context and thus distort their meaning, and have forgotten a good portion of the teaching they were imparted, and regarding all except a few of them you continue to learn that they committed acts of treachery. Pardon them, then, and overlook their deeds. Surely Allah loves those who do good deeds.

Phir yeh unka apne ahad ko toad daalna tha jiski wajah se humne unko apni rehmat se door phenk diya aur unke dil sakht kardiye. Ab unka haal yeh hai ke alfaz ka ulat pher karke baat ko kahin se kahin le jatey hain, jo taleem inhein di gayi thi uska bada hissa bhool chuke hain, aur aaye din tumhein unki kisi na kisi khayanat ka pata chalta rehta hai. Inmein se bahut kam log is aib(burayi) se bachey huey hain, [pas jab yeh is haal ko pahunch chuke hain to jo shararatein bhi yeh karein woh inse ain mutwaqqe (expected) hain, lihaza inhein maaf karo aur inki harakat se chasm-poshi (overlook) karte raho. Allah un logon ko pasand karta hai jo ehsan ki rawish rakhte hain

وَمِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّا نَصٰرٰٓى اَخَذۡنَا مِيۡثَاقَهُمۡ فَنَسُوۡا حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوۡا بِهٖ فَاَغۡرَيۡنَا بَيۡنَهُمُ الۡعَدَاوَةَ وَالۡبَغۡضَآءَ اِلٰى يَوۡمِ الۡقِيٰمَةِ​ ؕ وَسَوۡفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَصۡنَعُوۡنَ‏  ١٤

We also took a covenant from those who said: 'We are Christians'; but they forgot a good portion of the teaching they had been imparted with. Wherefore We aroused enmity and spite between them till the Day of Resurrection, and ultimately Allah will tell them what they had contrived.

Isi tarah humne un logon se bhi pukhta ahad liya tha jinhon ne kaha tha ke “hum nasara (christians) hain” magar unko bhi jo sabaq yaad karaya gaya tha uska ek bada hissa unhon ne faramosh kardiya. Aakhir e kaar humne unke darmiyan qayamat tak ke liye dushmani aur aapas ke bugz o inaad (spite) ka beej bo (seed sow) diya, aur zaroor ek waqt aayega jab Allah unhein batayega ke woh duniya mein kya banate rahey hain

يٰۤـاَهۡلَ الۡكِتٰبِ قَدۡ جَآءَكُمۡ رَسُوۡلُـنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَـكُمۡ كَثِيۡرًا مِّمَّا كُنۡتُمۡ تُخۡفُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡكِتٰبِ وَيَعۡفُوۡا عَنۡ كَثِيۡرٍ​ ؕ قَدۡ جَآءَكُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ نُوۡرٌ وَّكِتٰبٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ ۙ‏ ١٥

People of the Book! Now Our Messenger has come to you: he makes clear to you a good many things of the Book which you were wont to conceal, and also passes over many things. There has now come to you a light from Allah, and a clear Book.

Aey ehle kitaab! Hamara Rasool tumhare paas aa gaya hai jo kitab e ilahi ki bahut si un baaton ko tumhare saamne khol raha hai jinpar tum purda dala karte thay, aur bahut si baaton se darguzar bhi kar jata hai. Tumhare paas Allah ki taraf se roshni aa gayi hai aur ek aisi haqq numa kitab

يَّهۡدِىۡ بِهِ اللّٰهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضۡوَانَهٗ سُبُلَ السَّلٰمِ وَيُخۡرِجُهُمۡ مِّنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَى النُّوۡرِ بِاِذۡنِهٖ وَيَهۡدِيۡهِمۡ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٍ‏  ١٦

through which Allah shows to all who seek to please Him the paths leading to safety. He brings them out, by His leave, from darkness to light and directs them on to the straight way.

Jiske zariye se Allah taala un logon ko jo uski raza ke taalib hain salamati ke tareeqe batata hai aur apne izan se unko andheron se nikal kar ujale ki taraf lata hai aur raah e raast ki taraf unki rehnumayi karta hai

لَـقَدۡ كَفَرَ الَّذِيۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الۡمَسِيۡحُ ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ​ؕ قُلۡ فَمَنۡ يَّمۡلِكُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيۡـًٔـــا اِنۡ اَرَادَ اَنۡ يُّهۡلِكَ الۡمَسِيۡحَ ابۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ وَاُمَّهٗ وَمَنۡ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ جَمِيۡعًا​ ؕ وَلِلّٰهِ مُلۡكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا​ ؕ يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ‏ ١٧

Indeed those who said: 'Christ, the son of Mary, he is indeed God', disbelieved. Say (O Muhammad!): 'Who could have overruled Allah had He so willed to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, and his mother, and all those who are on earth?' For to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; He creates what He wills. Allah is All-Powerful.

Yaqeenan kufr kiya un logon ne jinhon ne kaha Maseeh ibn Mariyam khuda hai. (Aey Muhammad)! Inse kaho ke agar khuda Maseeh Ibn Mariyam ko aur uski Maa aur tamaam zameen walon ko halaak kardena chahe to kiski majaal hai ke usko is irade se baaz rakh sakey? Allah to zameen aur aasmano ka aur un sab cheezon ka malik hai jo zameen aur aasmano ke darmiyan payi jati hain, jo kuch chahta hai paida karta hai aur uski qudrat har cheez par haawi hai

وَقَالَتِ الۡيَهُوۡدُ وَالنَّصٰرٰى نَحۡنُ اَبۡنٰٓؤُا اللّٰهِ وَاَحِبَّآؤُهٗ​ ؕ قُلۡ فَلِمَ يُعَذِّبُكُمۡ بِذُنُوۡبِكُمۡ​ؕ بَلۡ اَنۡـتُمۡ بَشَرٌ مِّمَّنۡ خَلَقَ​ ؕ يَغۡفِرُ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ​ ؕ وَلِلّٰهِ مُلۡكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا​ وَاِلَيۡهِ الۡمَصِيۡرُ‏ ١٨

The Jews and the Christians say: 'We are Allah's children and His beloved ones.' Ask them: 'Why, then, does He chastise you for your sins?' You are the same as other men He has created. He forgives whom He wills and chastises whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them. To Him is the eventual return.

Yahud aur nasara kehte hain ke hum Allah ke bete aur uske chahite (beloved) hain, inse pucho, phir woh tumhare gunaahon par tumhein saza kyun deta hai? Dar haqeeqat tum bhi wasie hi Insaan ho jaise aur Insaan khuda ne paida kiye hain. Woh jisey chahta hai maaf karta hai aur jisey chahta hai saza deta hai. Zameen aur aasman aur inki saari maujudaat uski milk( milkiyat) hain. Aur usi ki taraf sabko jana hai

يٰۤـاَهۡلَ الۡـكِتٰبِ قَدۡ جَآءَكُمۡ رَسُوۡلُـنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَـكُمۡ عَلٰى فَتۡرَةٍ مِّنَ الرُّسُلِ اَنۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡا مَا جَآءَنَا مِنۡۢ بَشِيۡرٍ وَّلَا نَذِيۡرٍ​ فَقَدۡ جَآءَكُمۡ بَشِيۡرٌ وَّنَذِيۡرٌ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ‏  ١٩

People of the Book! After a long interlude during which no Messengers have appeared there has come to you Our Messenger to elucidate the teaching of the true faith lest you say: 'No bearer of glad tidings and no warner has come to us.' For now there indeed has come to you a bearer of glad tidings and a warner, Allah is All-Power-ful.

Aey ehle kitab! Hamara yeh Rasool aise waqt tumhare paas aaya hai aur deen ki wazeh taleem tumhein de raha hai jabke Rasoolon ki aamad ka silsila ek muddat se bandh tha, taa-ke tum yeh na keh sako ke hamare paas koi basharat dene wala aur darane wala nahin aaya. So dekho! Ab woh basharat dene wala aur darane wala aa gaya aur Allah har cheez par qadir hai

وَاِذۡ قَالَ مُوۡسٰى لِقَوۡمِهٖ يٰقَوۡمِ اذۡكُرُوۡا نِعۡمَةَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اِذۡ جَعَلَ فِيۡكُمۡ اَنۡۢـبِيَآءَ وَجَعَلَـكُمۡ مُّلُوۡكًا  ۖ  وَّاٰتٰٮكُمۡ مَّا لَمۡ يُؤۡتِ اَحَدًا مِّنَ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ‏ ٢٠

Remember when Moses said to his people: 'My people, remember Allah's favour upon you when He raised Prophets amongst you and appointed you rulers, and granted to you what He had not granted to anyone else in the world.

Yaad karo jab Moosa ne apni qaum se kaha tha ke “ Aey meri qaum ke logon! Allah ki us niyamat ka khayal karo jo usne tumhein ata ki thi, usne tum mein Nabi paida kiye, tumko farma rawa banaya, aur tumko woh kuch diya jo duniya mein kisi ko na diya tha

يٰقَوۡمِ ادۡخُلُوا الۡاَرۡضَ الۡمُقَدَّسَةَ الَّتِىۡ كَتَبَ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمۡ وَلَا تَرۡتَدُّوۡا عَلٰٓى اَدۡبَارِكُمۡ فَتَـنۡقَلِبُوۡا خٰسِرِيۡنَ‏ ٢١

My people! Enter the holy land which Allah has ordained for you; and do not turn back for then you will turn about losers.

Aey biradraan e qaum! us muqaddas sar-zameen mein dakhil ho jao jo Allah ne tumhare liye likh di hai, pichey na hato warna nakaam o na-murad paltogey”

قَالُوۡا يٰمُوۡسٰٓى اِنَّ فِيۡهَا قَوۡمًا جَبَّارِيۡنَ ​ۖ  وَاِنَّا لَنۡ نَّدۡخُلَهَا حَتّٰى يَخۡرُجُوۡا مِنۡهَا​ ۚ فَاِنۡ يَّخۡرُجُوۡا مِنۡهَا فَاِنَّا دَاخِلُوۡنَ‏ ٢٢

They answered: 'Moses, therein live a ferocious people: we will not enter unless they depart from it; but if they do depart from it then we will surely enter it.'

Unhone jawab diya “Aey Moosa! Wahan to badey zabardast log rehte hain, hum wahan hargiz na jayenge jab tak woh wahan se nikal na jayein, haan agar woh nikal gaye to hum dakhil honay ke liye tayyar hain”

قَالَ رَجُلٰنِ مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ يَخَافُوۡنَ اَنۡعَمَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡهِمَا ادۡخُلُوۡا عَلَيۡهِمُ الۡبَابَ​ۚ فَاِذَا دَخَلۡتُمُوۡهُ فَاِنَّكُمۡ غٰلِبُوۡنَ​  ​ۚ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوۡۤا اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏ ٢٣

Two from among these who were frightened but upon whom Allah had bes-towed His favour said: 'Enter upon them through the gate - for if you do enter - you will be the victors. And put your trust in Allah if indeed you are men of faith.'

Un darne walon mein do shaks aisey bhi thay jinko Allah ne apni niyamat se nawaza tha, unhon ne kaha ke “ in jabbaron ke muqable mein darwaze ke andar ghus jao, jab tum andar pahunch jaogey to tum hi gaalib (victors) rahogey. Allah par bharosa rakkho agar tum momin ho”

قَالُوۡا يٰمُوۡسٰٓى اِنَّا لَنۡ نَّدۡخُلَهَاۤ اَبَدًا مَّا دَامُوۡا فِيۡهَا​ فَاذۡهَبۡ اَنۡتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَاتِلَاۤ اِنَّا هٰهُنَا قَاعِدُوۡنَ‏ ٢٤

Nevertheless they said: 'O Moses! Never shall we enter it as long as they are there. Go forth, then, you and your Lord, and fight, both of you. As for us, we will sit here.'

Lekin unhon ne phir yahi kaha ke “ Aey Moosa! Hum to wahan kabhi na jayenge jab tak woh wahan maujood hain, bas tum aur tumhara Rubb, dono jao aur lado, hum yahan baithey hain

— Abul Ala Maududi (Roman Urdu)

قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّىۡ لَاۤ اَمۡلِكُ اِلَّا نَفۡسِىۡ وَاَخِىۡ​ فَافۡرُقۡ بَيۡنَـنَا وَبَيۡنَ الۡـقَوۡمِ الۡفٰسِقِيۡنَ‏ ٢٥

Thereupon Moses said: 'My Lord! I have control over none but my own self and my brother; so distinguish between us and the transgressing people.'

Ispar Moosa ne kaha “Aey mere Rubb, mere ikhtiyar mein koi nahin magar ya meri apni zaat ya mera bhai, pas tu humein in nafarmaan logon se alag karde.”

​قَالَ فَاِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ​ اَرۡبَعِيۡنَ سَنَةً​​  ۚ يَتِيۡهُوۡنَ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ​ ؕ فَلَا تَاۡسَ عَلَى الۡقَوۡمِ الۡفٰسِقِيۡنَ‏ ٢٦

Allah said: 'This land will now be forbidden to them for forty years and they will remain wandering about on the earth. Do not grieve over the condition of these transgressing people.

Allah ne jawab diya ‘ accha to woh mulk chalis (forty) saal tak inpar haram hai, yeh zameen mein maarey maarey phirenge. In nafarmaano ki halat par hargiz taras na khao”

وَاتۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَبَاَ ابۡنَىۡ اٰدَمَ بِالۡحَـقِّ​ۘ اِذۡ قَرَّبَا قُرۡبَانًا فَتُقُبِّلَ مِنۡ اَحَدِهِمَا وَلَمۡ يُتَقَبَّلۡ مِنَ الۡاٰخَرِؕ قَالَ لَاَقۡتُلَـنَّكَ​ؕ قَالَ اِنَّمَا يَتَقَبَّلُ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ‏ ٢٧

Narrate to them in all truth the story of the two sons of Adam. When they made an offering and it was accepted from one of them and was not accepted from the other, the latter said: 'I will surely kill you.' Thereupon the former said: 'Allah accepts offerings only from the God-fearing.

Aur zara inhein Adam ke do beton ka qissa bhi be kam-o-kaasht suna do jab un dono ne qurbani ki, to un mein se ek ki qurbani qabool ki gayi aur dusre ki na ki gayi , usne kaha “ main tujhey maar dalunga” Usne jawab diya “Allah to muttaqiyon hi ki nazarein(offerings) qabool karta hai

لَٮِٕنۡۢ بَسَطْتَّ اِلَىَّ يَدَكَ لِتَقۡتُلَنِىۡ مَاۤ اَنَا بِبَاسِطٍ يَّدِىَ اِلَيۡكَ لِاَقۡتُلَكَ​ ۚ اِنِّىۡۤ اَخَافُ اللّٰهَ رَبَّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ‏ ٢٨

Even if you stretch forth your hand against me to kill, I will not stretch forth my hand to kill you. Surely, I fear Allah, the Lord of the entire universe.

Agar tu mujhey qatal karne ke liye haath uthayega to main tujhey qatal karne ke liye haath na uthaunga. Main Allah Rabbul aalameen se darta hoon

اِنِّىۡۤ اُرِيۡدُ اَنۡ تَبُوۡٓاَ بِاِثۡمِىۡ وَ اِثۡمِكَ فَتَكُوۡنَ مِنۡ اَصۡحٰبِ النَّارِ​ۚ وَذٰ لِكَ جَزٰٓؤُا الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ​ۚ‏ ٢٩

I would desire that you be laden with my sin and with your sin, and thus become among the inmates of the Fire. That indeed is the right recompense of the wrong-doers.'

Main chahta hoon ke mera aur apna gunaah tu hi sameit le aur dozakhi bankar rahey. Zalimon ke zulm ka yahi theek badla hai.”

فَطَوَّعَتۡ لَهٗ نَفۡسُهٗ قَـتۡلَ اَخِيۡهِ فَقَتَلَهٗ فَاَصۡبَحَ مِنَ الۡخٰسِرِيۡنَ‏  ٣٠

At last his evil soul drove him to the murder of his brother, and he killed him, whereby he himself became one of the losers.

Aakhir e kaar uske nafs ne apne bhai ka qatal uske liye aasaan kardiya aur woh usey maar kar un logon mein shamil ho gaya jo nuqsan uthane waley hain

فَبَـعَثَ اللّٰهُ غُرَابًا يَّبۡحَثُ فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ لِيُرِيَهٗ كَيۡفَ يُوَارِىۡ سَوۡءَةَ اَخِيۡهِ​ؕ قَالَ يَاوَيۡلَتٰٓى اَعَجَزۡتُ اَنۡ اَكُوۡنَ مِثۡلَ هٰذَا الۡغُرَابِ فَاُوَارِىَ سَوۡءَةَ اَخِىۡ​ۚ فَاَصۡبَحَ مِنَ النّٰدِمِيۡنَ​​​ۛ ​ۚۙ‏ ٣١

Thereupon Allah sent forth a raven who began to scratch the earth to show him how he might cover the corpse of his brother. So seeing he cried: 'Woe unto me! Was I unable even to be like this raven and find a way to cover the corpse of my brother? Then he became full of remorse at his doing.

Phir Allah ne ek kawwa (crow) bheja jo zameen khodne laga taa-ke usey bataye ke apne bhai ki laash kaise chupaye. Yeh dekh kar woh bola afsos mujhpar ! main is kawwe jaisa bhi na ho saka ke apne bhai ki laash chupane ki tadbeer nikal leta, iske baad woh apne kiye par bahut pachtaya

مِنۡ اَجۡلِ ذٰ لِكَ​ ۛ ۚ كَتَبۡنَا عَلٰى بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ اَنَّهٗ مَنۡ قَتَلَ نَفۡسًۢا بِغَيۡرِ نَفۡسٍ اَوۡ فَسَادٍ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَكَاَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَمِيۡعًا ؕ وَمَنۡ اَحۡيَاهَا فَكَاَنَّمَاۤ اَحۡيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيۡعًا ​ؕ وَلَـقَدۡ جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُنَا بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ ثُمَّ اِنَّ كَثِيۡرًا مِّنۡهُمۡ بَعۡدَ ذٰ لِكَ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ لَمُسۡرِفُوۡنَ‏ ٣٢

Therefore We ordained for the Children of Israel that he who slays a soul unless it be (in punishment) for murder or for spreading mischief on earth shall be as if he had slain all mankind; and he who saves a life shall be as if he had given life to all mankind. And indeed again and again did Our Messengers come to them with clear directives; yet many of them continued to commit excesses on earth.

Isi wajah se bani Israel par humne yeh farmaan likh diya tha ke “ jisne kisi Insan ko khoon ke badle ya zameen mein fasaad phaylane ke siwa kisi aur wajah se qatal kiya usne goya tamaam Insaano ko qatal kardiya aur jisne kisi ki jaan bachayi usne goya tamaam Insaano ko zindagi baksh di”. Magar unka haal yeh hai ke hamare Rasool pai dar pai unke paas khuli khuli hidayat lekar aaye phir bhi unmein bakasrat log zameen mein zyadatiyan(commit excesses ) karne waley hain

اِنَّمَا جَزٰٓؤُا الَّذِيۡنَ يُحَارِبُوۡنَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوۡلَهٗ وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَسَادًا اَنۡ يُّقَتَّلُوۡۤا اَوۡ يُصَلَّبُوۡۤا اَوۡ تُقَطَّعَ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَاَرۡجُلُهُمۡ مِّنۡ خِلَافٍ اَوۡ يُنۡفَوۡا مِنَ الۡاَرۡضِ​ؕ ذٰ لِكَ لَهُمۡ خِزۡىٌ فِى الدُّنۡيَا​ وَ لَهُمۡ فِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيۡمٌ ۙ‏ ٣٣

Those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and go about the earth spreading mischief -indeed their recompense is that they either be done to death, or be crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off from the opposite sides or be banished from the land. Such shall be their degradation in this world; and a mighty chastisement lies in store for them in the World to Come

Jo log Allah aur uske Rasool se ladte hain aur zameen mein is liye tag-o-dou karte phirte hain ke fasaad(mischeif) barpa karein unki saza yeh hai ke qatal kiye jayein , ya suli par chadhaye jayein, ya unke haath aur paaon mukhalif simton se kaat daley jayein, ya woh jila watan(banished from the land) kardiye jayein. Yeh zillat o ruswayi to unke liye duniya mein hai aur aakhirat mein unke liye issey badi saza hai

اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ تَابُوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلِ اَنۡ تَقۡدِرُوۡا عَلَيۡهِمۡ​ۚ فَاعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏ ٣٤

except for those who repent before you have overpowered them. Know well that Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate.

Magar jo log tawba karlein qabl iske ke tum unpar qaabu pao. Tumhein maloom hona chahiye ke Allah maaf karne wala aur reham farmane wala hai

اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا لَوۡ اَنَّ لَهُمۡ مَّا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ جَمِيۡعًا وَّمِثۡلَهٗ مَعَهٗ لِيَـفۡتَدُوۡا بِهٖ مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِ الۡقِيٰمَةِ مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنۡهُمۡ​ۚ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَ لِيۡمٌ‏ ٣٦

For those who disbelieved - even if they had all that is in the earth, and the like of it with it, and offered it all as ransom from chastisement on the Day of Resurrection, it will not be accepted of them - a painful chastisement lies in store for them.

Khoob jaan lo ke jin logon ne kufr ka rawayya ikhtiyar kiya hai, agar unke qabze mein saari zameen ki daulat ho aur itni hi aur iske saath aur woh chahein ke isey fidiye(badlay/expiation) mein de kar roz e qayamat ke azaab se bach jayein, tab bhi woh unse qabool na ki jayegi aur unhein dardnaak saza milkar rahegi

يُرِيۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ يَّخۡرُجُوۡا مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا هُمۡ بِخَارِجِيۡنَ مِنۡهَا​ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيۡمٌ‏ ٣٧

They will wish to come out of the Fire, but they will not. Theirs will be a long-lasting chastisement.

Woh chahenge ke dozakh ki aag se nikal bhaagein magar na nikal sakenge aur unhein qayam (hamesha) rehne wala azaab diya jayega

وَالسَّارِقُ وَالسَّارِقَةُ فَاقۡطَعُوۡۤا اَيۡدِيَهُمَا جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَسَبَا نَـكَالًا مِّنَ اللّٰهِ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَزِيۡزٌ حَكِيۡمٌ‏ ٣٨

As for the thief -male or female - cut off the hands of both. This is a recompense for what they have done, and an exemplary punishment from Allah. Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Aur chor, khwa aurat ho ya mard, dono ke haath kaat do, yeh unki kamayi ka badla hai aur Allah ki taraf se ibratnaak saza. Allah ki qudrat sab par galib hai aur woh dana o beena hai

فَمَنۡ تَابَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ظُلۡمِهٖ وَاَصۡلَحَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَتُوۡبُ عَلَيۡهِؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏ ٣٩

But he who repents after he has committed wrong, and makes amends, Allah will graciously turn to him. Truly Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate.

Phir jo zulm karne ke baad tawba karey aur apni islah karle to Allah ki nazar e inayat phir uspar mayil ho jayegi, Allah bahut darguzar karne wala aur reham farmane wala hai

اَلَمۡ تَعۡلَمۡ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهٗ مُلۡكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِؕ يُعَذِّبُ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ وَيَغۡفِرُ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ‏  ٤٠

Do you not know that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth? He chastises whom He wills and forgives whom He wills. Allah is All-Powerful.

Kya tum jaante nahin ho ke Allah zameen aur aasmano ki sultanat ka malik hai? Jisey chahe saza de aur jisey chahe maaf karde, woh har cheez ka ikhtiyar rakhta hai

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الرَّسُوۡلُ لَا يَحۡزُنۡكَ الَّذِيۡنَ يُسَارِعُوۡنَ فِى الۡكُفۡرِ مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا بِاَ فۡوَاهِهِمۡ وَلَمۡ تُؤۡمِنۡ قُلُوۡبُهُمۡ​ ​ۛۚ وَمِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ هَادُوۡا ​ ۛۚ سَمّٰعُوۡنَ لِلۡكَذِبِ سَمّٰعُوۡنَ لِقَوۡمٍ اٰخَرِيۡنَۙ لَمۡ يَاۡتُوۡكَ​ؕ يُحَرِّفُوۡنَ الۡـكَلِمَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَوَاضِعِهٖ​ۚ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ اِنۡ اُوۡتِيۡتُمۡ هٰذَا فَخُذُوۡهُ وَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تُؤۡتَوۡهُ فَاحۡذَرُوۡا​ ؕ وَمَنۡ يُّرِدِ اللّٰهُ فِتۡنَـتَهٗ فَلَنۡ تَمۡلِكَ لَهٗ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيۡــًٔـا​ؕ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ لَمۡ يُرِدِ اللّٰهُ اَنۡ يُّطَهِّرَ قُلُوۡبَهُمۡ​ ؕ لَهُمۡ فِىۡ الدُّنۡيَا خِزۡىٌ ۚۖ وَّلَهُمۡ فِىۡ الۡاٰخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيۡمٌ‏ ٤١

O Messenger! Do not be grieved on account of those who vie with one another in disbelieving: even though they be those who say with their mouths: 'We believe' even though their hearts have no faith; or they be Jews who have their ears eagerly turned to falsehood and spy for other people who did not chance to come to you, who pervert the words of Allah, taking them out of their proper context in order to distort their meaning. They say to people: 'If such and such teaching is given to you, accept it; if you are not given that, then beware! You can be of no avail to him whom Allah wills to fall into error. Those are the ones whose hearts Allah does not want to purify. For them there is degradation in this world and a mighty chastisement in the Next.

Aey paigambar! Tumhare liye baais-e-ranjh (grieve) na hon woh log jo kufr ki raah mein badi teiz gaami dikha rahey hain khwa woh unmein se hon jo mooh se kehte hain hum iman laye magar dil unke iman nahin laye , ya unmein se hon jo yahudi ban gaye hain, jinka haal yeh hai ke jhoot ke liye kaan lagate hain, aur dusre logon ki khatir jo tumhare paas kabhi nahin aaye, sun gun lete phirte hain, kitab-Allah ke alfaz ko unka saheeh mahal mutayin honay ke bawajood asal maani se pherte hain. Aur logon se kehte hain ke agar tumhein yeh hukum diya jaye to maano nahin to na maano, jisey Allah hi ne fitne mein daalne ka irada karliya ho to usko Allah ki giraft se bachane keliye tum kuch nahin kar sakte. Yeh woh log hain jinke dilon ko Allah ne paak karna na chaha. Inke liye duniya mein ruswayi hai aur aakhirat mein sakht saza

سَمّٰعُوۡنَ لِلۡكَذِبِ اَ كّٰلُوۡنَ لِلسُّحۡتِ​ؕ فَاِنۡ جَآءُوۡكَ فَاحۡكُمۡ بَيۡنَهُمۡ اَوۡ اَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ​ ۚ وَاِنۡ تُعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ فَلَنۡ يَّضُرُّوۡكَ شَيۡــًٔـا​ ؕ وَاِنۡ حَكَمۡتَ فَاحۡكُمۡ بَيۡنَهُمۡ بِالۡقِسۡطِ​ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الۡمُقۡسِطِيۡنَ‏ ٤٢

They are listeners of falsehood and greedy devourers of unlawful earnings. If they come to you you may either judge between them or turn away from them. And were you to turn away from them they shall not be able to harm you; and were you to judge between them judge with justice. Surely Allah loves the just.

Yeh jhoot sunne waley aur haram ke maal khane waley hain, lihaza agar yeh tumhare paas (apne muqaddamaat lekar) aayein to tumhein ikhtiyar diya jata hai ke chaho inka faisla karo warna inkar kardo. Inkar kardo to yeh tumhara kuch bigaad nahin sakte, aur faisla karo to phir theek theek insaf ke saath karo ke Allah insaf karne walon ko pasand karta hai

وَكَيۡفَ يُحَكِّمُوۡنَكَ وَعِنۡدَهُمُ التَّوۡرٰٮةُ فِيۡهَا حُكۡمُ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّوۡنَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ ذٰ لِكَ​ ؕ وَمَاۤ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ بِالۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏  ٤٣

Yet how will they appoint you a judge when they have the Torah with them, wherein there is Allah's judgement - and still they turn away from it? The fact is, they are not believers.

Aur yeh tumhein kaise hakam (Judge) banate hain jabke inke paas taurat (torah) maujood hai jismein Allah ka hukum likha hua hai aur phir yeh ussey mooh moad rahey hain? Asal baat yeh hai ke yeh log iman hi nahin rakhte

اِنَّاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا التَّوۡرٰٮةَ فِيۡهَا هُدًى وَّنُوۡرٌ​ ۚ يَحۡكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّوۡنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَسۡلَمُوۡا لِلَّذِيۡنَ هَادُوۡا وَ الرَّبَّانِيُّوۡنَ وَالۡاَحۡبَارُ بِمَا اسۡتُحۡفِظُوۡا مِنۡ كِتٰبِ اللّٰهِ وَكَانُوۡا عَلَيۡهِ شُهَدَآءَ​​ ۚ فَلَا تَخۡشَوُا النَّاسَ وَاخۡشَوۡنِ وَلَا تَشۡتَرُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِىۡ ثَمَنًا قَلِيۡلًا​ ؕ وَمَنۡ لَّمۡ يَحۡكُمۡ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ‏  ٤٤

Surely We revealed the Torah, wherein there is guidance and light. Thereby did Prophets - who had submitted themselves (to Allah) - judge for the Judaized folk; and so did the scholars and jurists. They judged by the Book of Allah for they had been entrusted to keep it, and bear witness to it. So (O Jews!) do not fear men but fear Me, and do not barter away My signs for a trivial gain. Those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are indeed the unbelievers.

Humne Taurat nazil ki jismein hidayat aur roshni thi. Sarey Nabi jo muslim thay, usi ke mutaaliq in yahudi ban janey walon ke maamlaat ka faisla karte thay, aur isi tarah Rabbani aur ehbar (scholars and jurists) bhi (isi par faisley ka madaar rakhte thay). Kyunke unhein kitab Allah ki hifazat ka zimmedar banaya gaya tha aur woh ispar gawaah they. Pas (aey giroh e yahud!) tum logon se na daro balke mujhse daro, aur meri aayat ko zara zara se mawize (trivial gain/keemat) lekar bechna chodh do. Jo log Allah ke nazil karda kanoon ke mutabiq faisla na karein wahi kafir hain

وَكَتَبۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ فِيۡهَاۤ اَنَّ النَّفۡسَ بِالنَّفۡسِۙ وَالۡعَيۡنَ بِالۡعَيۡنِ وَالۡاَنۡفَ بِالۡاَنۡفِ وَالۡاُذُنَ بِالۡاُذُنِ وَالسِّنَّ بِالسِّنِّۙ وَالۡجُرُوۡحَ قِصَاصٌ​ؕ فَمَنۡ تَصَدَّقَ بِهٖ فَهُوَ كَفَّارَةٌ لَّهٗ ​ؕ وَمَنۡ لَّمۡ يَحۡكُمۡ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ‏ ٤٥

And therein We had ordained for them: 'A life for a life, and an eye for an eye, and a nose for a nose, and an ear for an ear, and a tooth for a tooth, and for all wounds, like for like. But whosoever forgoes it by way of charity, it will be for him an expiation. Those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are indeed the wrong-doers.

Taurat mein humne yahudiyon par yeh hukum likh diya tha ke jaan ke badle jaan, aankh ke badle aankh, naak ke badle naak, kaan ke badle kaan, daant ke badle daant, aur tamaam zakhmon ke liye barabar ka badla, phir jo qisas ka sadaqa karde to woh uske liye kaffara hai aur jo log Allah ke nazil karda kanoon ke mutabiq faisla na karein wahi zalim hain

وَقَفَّيۡنَا عَلٰٓى اٰثَارِهِمۡ بِعِيۡسَى ابۡنِ مَرۡيَمَ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ مِنَ التَّوۡرٰٮةِ​ وَاٰتَيۡنٰهُ الۡاِنۡجِيۡلَ فِيۡهِ هُدًى وَّنُوۡرٌ ۙ وَّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ مِنَ التَّوۡرٰٮةِ وَهُدًى وَّمَوۡعِظَةً لِّـلۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ ؕ‏ ٤٦

And We sent Jesus, the son of Mary, after those Prophets, confirming the truth of whatever there still remained of the Torah. And We gave him the Gospel, wherein is guidance and light, and which confirms the truth of whatever there still remained of the Torah, and a guidance and admonition for the God-fearing.

Phir humne in paigambaron ke baad Maryam ke bete Isa ko bheja , Taurat mein se jo kuch uske samne maujood tha woh uski tasdeeq karne wala tha aur humne usko Injeel ata ki jismein rehnumayi aur roshni thi aur woh bhi Taurat mein se jo kuch us waqt maujood tha uski tasdeeq karne wali thi aur khuda tars logon keliye sarasar hidayat aur naseehat thi

وَلۡيَحۡكُمۡ اَهۡلُ الۡاِنۡجِيۡلِ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ فِيۡهِ​ؕ وَمَنۡ لَّمۡ يَحۡكُمۡ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡفٰسِقُوۡنَ‏ ٤٧

Let the followers of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein, and those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are the transgressors.

Hamara hukum tha ke ehle Injeel us kanoon ke mutabiq faisla karein jo Allah ne ismein nazil kiya hai aur jo log Allah ke nazil karda kanoon ke mutaabiq faisla na karein wahi fasiq hain

وَاَنۡزَلۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ الۡكِتٰبَ بِالۡحَـقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ مِنَ الۡكِتٰبِ وَمُهَيۡمِنًا عَلَيۡهِ​ فَاحۡكُمۡ بَيۡنَهُمۡ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ اَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ عَمَّا جَآءَكَ مِنَ الۡحَـقِّ​ؕ لِكُلٍّ جَعَلۡنَا مِنۡكُمۡ شِرۡعَةً وَّمِنۡهَاجًا ​ؕ وَلَوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ لَجَـعَلَـكُمۡ اُمَّةً وَّاحِدَةً وَّلٰـكِنۡ لِّيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ فِىۡ مَاۤ اٰتٰٮكُمۡ فَاسۡتَبِقُوا الۡخَـيۡـرٰتِ​ؕ اِلَى اللّٰهِ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ جَمِيۡعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُمۡ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ فِيۡهِ تَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَۙ‏  ٤٨

Then We revealed the Book to you (O Muhammad!) with Truth, confirming whatever of the Book was revealed before, and protecting and guarding over it. Judge, then, in the affairs of men in accordance with the Law that Allah has revealed, and do not follow their desires in disregard of the Truth which has come to you. For each of you We have appointed a Law and a way of life. And had Allah so willed, He would surely have made you one single community; instead, (He gave each of you a Law and a way of life) in order to test you by what He gave you. Vie, then, one with another in good works. Unto Allah is the return of all of you; and He will then make you understand the truth concerning the matters on which you disagreed.

Phir (aey Muhammad!) humne tumhari taraf yeh kitab bheji jo haqq lekar aayi hai aur al-kitab mein se jo kuch iske aagey maujood hai uski tasdeeq karne wali aur iski muhafiz o nigehban hai. Lihaza tum khuda ke nazil karda kanoon ke mutabiq logon ke maamlaat ka faisla karo aur jo haqq tumhare paas aaya hai ussey mooh moad kar inki khwahishat ki pairwi na karo. Humne tum mein se har ek keliye ek shariyat aur ek raah e amal muqarrar ki , agarche tumhara khuda chahta to tum sabko ek ummat bhi bana sakta tha, lekin usne yeh isliye kiya ke jo kuch usne tum logon ko diya hai usmein tumhari aazmaish karey, lihaza bhalaiyon mein ek dusre se sabaqat le janey ki koshish karo. Aakhir e kaar tum sab ko khuda ki taraf palat kar jana hai, phir woh tumhein asal haqeeqat bata dega jis mein tum ikhtilaf karte rahey ho

وَاَنِ احۡكُمۡ بَيۡنَهُمۡ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ اَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ وَاحۡذَرۡهُمۡ اَنۡ يَّفۡتِنُوۡكَ عَنۡۢ بَعۡضِ مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ اِلَيۡكَ​ؕ فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَاعۡلَمۡ اَنَّمَا يُرِيۡدُ اللّٰهُ اَنۡ يُّصِيۡبَهُمۡ بِبَـعۡضِ ذُنُوۡبِهِمۡ​ؕ وَاِنَّ كَثِيۡرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ لَفٰسِقُوۡنَ‏ ٤٩

Therefore, judge bet-ween them (O Muhammad!) by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their desires, and beware lest they tempt you away from anything of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away, then know well that Allah has indeed decided to afflict them for some of their sins. For surely many of them are transgressors.

Pas (aey Muhammad)! Tum Allah ke nazil karda kanoon ke mutabiq in logon ke maamlaat ka faisla karo aur inki khwahishat ki pairwi na karo. Hoshiyar raho ke yeh log tumko fitne mein daal kar us hidayat se zarra barabar munharif na karne paye jo khuda ne tumhari taraf nazil ki hai.Phir agar yeh issey mooh moadein to jaan lo ke Allah ne inke baaz gunaahon ki padash mein inko mubtala e museebat karne ka irada hi karliya hai, aur yeh haqeeqat hai ke in logon mein se aksar faasiq hain

اَفَحُكۡمَ الۡجَـاهِلِيَّةِ يَـبۡغُوۡنَ​ؕ وَمَنۡ اَحۡسَنُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ حُكۡمًا لِّـقَوۡمٍ يُّوۡقِنُوۡنَ‏ ٥٠

(If they turn away from the Law of Allah) do they desire judgement according to the Law of Ignorance? But for those who have certainty of belief whose judgement can be better than Allah's?

(agar yeh khuda ke kanoon se mooh moadte hain) to kya phir jahiliyat ka faisla chahte hain? Halanke jo log Allah par yaqeen rakhte hain unke nazdeek Allah se behtar faisla karne wala koi nahin hai

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الۡيَهُوۡدَ وَالنَّصٰرٰۤى اَوۡلِيَآءَ ​ۘ بَعۡضُهُمۡ اَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٍ​ؕ وَمَنۡ يَّتَوَلَّهُمۡ مِّنۡكُمۡ فَاِنَّهٗ مِنۡهُمۡ​ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهۡدِى الۡقَوۡمَ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ‏ ٥١

Believers! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for your allies. They are the allies of each other. And among you he who takes them for allies, shall be regarded as one of them. Allah does not guide the wrong-doers.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho! Yahudiyon(Jews) aur Isaiyon (Christians) ko apna rafeeq (dost) na banao. Yeh aapas hi mein ek dusre ke rafeeq hain. Aur agar tum mein se koi inko apna rafeeq banata hai to uska shumar bhi phir inhi mein hai.Yaqeenan Allah zaalimon ko apni rehnumayi se mehroom kar deta hai

فَتَـرَى الَّذِيۡنَ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ مَّرَضٌ يُّسَارِعُوۡنَ فِيۡهِمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ نَخۡشٰٓى اَنۡ تُصِيۡبَـنَا دَآٮِٕرَةٌ​ ؕ فَعَسَى اللّٰهُ اَنۡ يَّاۡتِىَ بِالۡفَتۡحِ اَوۡ اَمۡرٍ مِّنۡ عِنۡدِهٖ فَيُصۡبِحُوۡا عَلٰى مَاۤ اَسَرُّوۡا فِىۡۤ اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ نٰدِمِيۡنَ ؕ‏ ٥٢

Indeed you see those afflicted with the disease of hypocrisy race towards them, saying: 'We fear lest some misfortune overtakes us. And it may happen that Allah will either bring you a decisive victory or bring about something else from Himself? and then they will feel remorseful at their hypocrisy which they have kept concealed in their breasts -

Tum dekhte ho ke jinke dilon mein nifaq ki bimari hai woh unhi mein daud-dhoop karte phirte hain, kehte hain “humein darr lagta hai ke kahin hum kisi museebat ke chakkar mein na phans jayein” magar baeed nahin ke Allah jab tumhein faisla-kun fatah (decisive victory) bakshega ya apni taraf se koi aur baat zaahir karega to yeh log apne is nifaaq (hypocrisy) par jisey yeh dilon mein chupaye huey hain naadim honge

وَيَقُوۡلُ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَهٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ الَّذِيۡنَ اَقۡسَمُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ جَهۡدَ اَيۡمَانِهِمۡ​ۙ اِنَّهُمۡ لَمَعَكُمۡ​ ؕ حَبِطَتۡ اَعۡمَالُهُمۡ فَاَصۡبَحُوۡا خٰسِرِيۡنَ‏ ٥٣

while those who believe will exclaim: 'Are these the self-same people who solemnly swore by Allah that they were with you?' All their acts have gone to waste and now they are the losers.

Aur us waqt ehle iman kahenge “kya yeh wahi log hain jo Allah ke naam se kadi kadi kasmein kha kar yaqeen dilate thay ke hum tumhare saath hain?” Unke sab aamal zaaya hogaye aur aakhir e kaar yeh nakaam o na-murad hokar rahey

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا مَنۡ يَّرۡتَدَّ مِنۡكُمۡ عَنۡ دِيۡـنِهٖ فَسَوۡفَ يَاۡتِى اللّٰهُ بِقَوۡمٍ يُّحِبُّهُمۡ وَيُحِبُّوۡنَهٗۤ ۙ اَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ اَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ يُجَاهِدُوۡنَ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا يَخَافُوۡنَ لَوۡمَةَ لَاۤٮِٕمٍ​ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ فَضۡلُ اللّٰهِ يُؤۡتِيۡهِ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيۡمٌ‏ ٥٤

Believers! If any of you should ever turn away from your faith, remember that Allah will raise up a people whom He loves, and who love Him; a people humble towards the believers, and firm towards the unbelievers; who will strive hard in the way of Allah and will not fear the reproach of the reproacher. This is the favour of Allah which He grants to whom He wills. Allah is vast in resources, All-Knowing.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, agar tum mein se koi apne deen se phirta hai (to phir jaye) Allah aur bhut se log aisey paida kardega jo Allah ko mehboob honge aur Allah unko mehboob hoga, jo momino par narm aur kuffar par sakht honge, jo Allah ki raah mein jidd o jahad karenge aur kisi malamat karne waley ki malamat se na darenge. Yeh Allah ka fazal hai, jisey chahta hai ata karta hai. Allah waseeh zaraye ka malik hai aur sab kuch jaanta hai

اِنَّمَا وَلِيُّكُمُ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا الَّذِيۡنَ يُقِيۡمُوۡنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُؤۡتُوۡنَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَهُمۡ رَاكِعُوۡنَ‏ ٥٥

Only Allah, His Messenger, and those who believe and who establish Prayer, pay Zakah, and bow (before Allah) are your allies.

Tumhare rafeeq to haqeeqat mein sirf Allah aur Allah ka Rasool aur woh ehle iman hain jo namaz qayam karte hain, zakat dete hain aur Allah ke aagey jhukne waley hain

وَمَنۡ يَّتَوَلَّ اللّٰهَ وَ رَسُوۡلَهٗ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا فَاِنَّ حِزۡبَ اللّٰهِ هُمُ الۡغٰلِبُوۡنَ‏ ٥٦

All those who take Allah and His Messenger and those who believe as their allies, should remember that the party of Allah will be triumphant.

Aur jo Allah aur uske Rasool aur ehle iman ko apna rafeeq bana lein usey maloom ho ke Allah ki jamaat hi gaalib rehne wali hai

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَـتَّخِذُوا الَّذِيۡنَ اتَّخَذُوۡا دِيۡنَكُمۡ هُزُوًا وَّلَعِبًا مِّنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡكِتٰبَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡ وَالۡـكُفَّارَ اَوۡلِيَآءَ​ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏ ٥٧

Believers! Do not take for your allies those who make a mockery and sport of your faith, be they those given the Book before you or other unbelievers. Fear Allah if you indeed believe.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, tumhare peshraw ehle kitab mein se jin logon ne tumhare deen ko mazaq aur tafreeh ka samaan bana liya hai, unhein aur dusre kaafiron ko apna dost aur rafeeq na banao. Allah se daro agar tum momin ho

وَ اِذَا نَادَيۡتُمۡ اِلَى الصَّلٰوةِ اتَّخَذُوۡهَا هُزُوًا وَّلَعِبًا​ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ بِاَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٌ لَّا يَعۡقِلُوۡنَ‏ ٥٨

And when you call for Prayer, they take it for a mockery and sport. That is because they are a people who do not understand.

Jab tum namaz keliye munadi (call) karte ho to woh iska mazaaq udate aur issey khelte hain. Iski wajah yeh hai ke woh aqal nahin rakhte

قُلۡ يٰۤـاَهۡلَ الۡـكِتٰبِ هَلۡ تَـنۡقِمُوۡنَ مِنَّاۤ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِ وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَـيۡنَا وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُ ۙ وَاَنَّ اَكۡثَرَكُمۡ فٰسِقُوۡنَ‏ ٥٩

Say to them: 'People of the Book! Do you hate us for anything else except that we believe in Allah, and in the teaching which has been revealed to us and in the teaching which was revealed before? Indeed most of you are transgressors.'

Insey kaho “Aey ehle kitaab! Tum jis baat par humse bigde ho (hate us) woh iske siwa aur kya hai ke hum Allah par aur deen ki us taleem par iman le aaye hain jo hamari taraf nazil hui hai aur humse pehle bhi nazil hui thi? Aur tum mein se aksar log fasiq hain.”

قُلۡ هَلۡ اُنَـبِّئُكُمۡ بِشَرٍّ مِّنۡ ذٰ لِكَ مَثُوۡبَةً عِنۡدَ اللّٰهِ​ ؕ مَنۡ لَّعَنَهُ اللّٰهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيۡهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنۡهُمُ الۡقِرَدَةَ وَالۡخَـنَازِيۡرَ وَعَبَدَ الطَّاغُوۡتَ​ ؕ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَّاَضَلُّ عَنۡ سَوَآءِ السَّبِيۡلِ‏  ٦٠

Then say to them: 'Shall I tell you about those whose retribution with Allah is even worse? They are the ones whom Allah has cursed, and who incurred His wrath and some of whom were changed into apes and swine, and who served the false deities. Such have an even worse rank and have strayed farther away from the right path.

Phir kaho “kya main un logon ki nishandahi karoon jinka anjaam khuda ke haan fasiqon ke anjam se bhi badhtar hai? Woh jinpar khuda ne lanat ki, jinpar uska gazab toota, jinmein se bandar aur suwar banaye gaye, jinhon ne taghut ki bandagi ki unka darja aur bhi zyada bura hai aur woh sawa-e-sabeel (right path) se bahut zyada bhatke huye hain”

وَاِذَا جَآءُوۡكُمۡ قَالُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا وَقَدْ دَّخَلُوۡا بِالۡكُفۡرِ وَهُمۡ قَدۡ خَرَجُوۡا بِهٖ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَكۡتُمُوۡنَ‏ ٦١

Whenever they come to you they say: 'We believe,' whereas, in fact, they come disbelieving, and go away disbelieving, and Allah knows all that they hide.

Jab yeh tum logon ke paas aate hain to kehte hain ke hum iman laye, halanke kufr liye huey aaye thay aur kufr hi liye huye wapas gaye, aur Allah khoob jaanta hai jo kuch yeh dilon mein chupaye huey hain

وَتَرٰى كَثِيۡرًا مِّنۡهُمۡ يُسَارِعُوۡنَ فِى الۡاِثۡمِ وَالۡعُدۡوَانِ وَاَكۡلِهِمُ السُّحۡتَ​ ؕ لَبِئۡسَ مَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏ ٦٢

You will see many of them hastening towards sin and transgression and devouring unlawful earnings. Indeed what they do is evil.

لَوۡلَا يَنۡهٰٮهُمُ الرَّبَّانِيُّوۡنَ وَالۡاَحۡبَارُ عَنۡ قَوۡلِهِمُ الۡاِثۡمَ وَاَكۡلِهِمُ السُّحۡتَ​ؕ لَبِئۡسَ مَا كَانُوۡا يَصۡنَعُوۡنَ‏ ٦٣

Why is it that their scholars and jurists do not forbid them from sinful utterances and devouring unlawful earnings? Indeed they have been contriving evil.

Kyun inke ulema, aur mashahik (jursits) inhein gunaah par zubaan kholne aur haraam khane se nahin roakte? Yaqeenan bahut hi bura kaarnama e zindagi hai jo woh tayyar kar rahey hain

وَقَالَتِ الۡيَهُوۡدُ يَدُ اللّٰهِ مَغۡلُوۡلَةٌ​ ؕ غُلَّتۡ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَلُعِنُوۡا بِمَا قَالُوۡا​ ۘ بَلۡ يَدٰهُ مَبۡسُوۡطَتٰنِ ۙ يُنۡفِقُ كَيۡفَ يَشَآءُ​ ؕ وَلَيَزِيۡدَنَّ كَثِيۡرًا مِّنۡهُمۡ مَّاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡكَ مِنۡ رَّبِّكَ طُغۡيَانًا وَّكُفۡرًا​ ؕ وَاَ لۡقَيۡنَا بَيۡنَهُمُ الۡعَدَاوَةَ وَالۡبَغۡضَآءَ اِلٰى يَوۡمِ الۡقِيٰمَةِ​ ؕ كُلَّمَاۤ اَوۡقَدُوۡا نَارًا لِّلۡحَرۡبِ اَطۡفَاَهَا اللّٰهُ​ ۙ وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَسَادًا​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الۡمُفۡسِدِيۡنَ‏ ٦٤

The Jews say: 'The Hand of Allah is fettered. It is their own hands which are fettered, and they stand cursed for the evil they have uttered. No! His Hands are outspread; He spends as He wills. Surely the message that has been revealed to you from your Lord has increased many of them in their in-surgence and unbelief, and so We have cast enmity and spite among them until the Day of Resurrection. And as often as they kindle the fire of war, Allah extinguishes it; and they go about trying to spread mischief on earth, whereas Allah does not love those who spread mischief.

Yahudi kehte hain Allah ke haath bandhey huey hain. Baandhey gaye inke haath, aur laanat padi inpar us bakwas ki badaulat jo yeh karte hain. Allah ke haath to kushada hain, jis tarah chahta hai kharch karta hai. Haqeeqat yeh hai ke jo kalaam tumhare Rubb ki taraf se tumpar nazil hua hai woh inmein se aksar logon ki sarkashi o baatil parasti mein ultey izafey ka mujeeb ban gaya hai, aur (iski padash mein) humne inke darmiyan qayamat tak ke liye adawat aur dushmani daal di hai. Jab kabhi yeh jung ki aag bhadkate hain Allah usko thanda kardeta hai. Yeh zameen mein fasaad phaylane ki sai(try) kar rahey hain, magar Allah fasaad barpa karne walon ko hargiz pasand nahin karta

وَلَوۡ اَنَّ اَهۡلَ الۡـكِتٰبِ اٰمَنُوۡا وَاتَّقَوۡا لَـكَفَّرۡنَا عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّاٰتِهِمۡ وَلَاَدۡخَلۡنٰهُمۡ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِيۡمِ‏ ٦٥

Had the People of the Book only believed and been God-fearing, We should surely have effaced from them their evil deeds, and caused them to enter Gardens of Bliss.

Agar (is sarkashi ke bajaye) yeh ehle kitab iman le aate aur khuda tarsi ki rawish ikhtiyar karte to hum inki buraiyan insey door kardete aur inko niyamat bhari jannaton mein pahunchate

وَلَوۡ اَنَّهُمۡ اَقَامُوا التَّوۡرٰٮةَ وَالۡاِنۡجِيۡلَ وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡ رَّبِّهِمۡ لَاَ كَلُوۡا مِنۡ فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَمِنۡ تَحۡتِ اَرۡجُلِهِمۡ​ؕ مِنۡهُمۡ اُمَّةٌ مُّقۡتَصِدَةٌ​  ؕ وَكَثِيۡرٌ مِّنۡهُمۡ سَآءَ مَا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏ ٦٦

Had the People of the Book observed the Torah and the Gospel, and all that had been revealed to them from their Lord, sustenance would have been showered over them from above and risen from beneath their feet. Some among them certainly keep to the right path; but many of them do things which are evil.

Kaash inhon ne Taurat aur Injeel aur un dusri kitaabon ko qayam kiya hota jo inke Rubb ki taraf se inke paas bheji gayi thi. Aisa karte to inke liye upar se rizq barasta aur nichey se ubalta ,agarche inmein kuch log raast-ro bhi hain lekin inki aksariyat sakht badh-amal hai

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الرَّسُوۡلُ بَلِّغۡ مَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡكَ مِنۡ رَّبِّكَ​ ؕ وَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تَفۡعَلۡ فَمَا بَلَّغۡتَ رِسٰلَـتَهٗ​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يَعۡصِمُكَ مِنَ النَّاسِ​ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهۡدِى الۡقَوۡمَ الۡـكٰفِرِيۡنَ‏ ٦٧

O Messenger! Deliver what has been revealed to you from your Lord, for if you fail to do that, you have not fulfilled the task of His messengership. Allah will certainly protect you from the evil of men. Surely Allah will not guide the unbelievers (to succeed against you).

Aey Paigambar! Jo kuch tumhare Rubb ki taraf se tumpar nazil kiya gaya hai woh logon tak pahuncha do , agar tumne aisa na kiya to uski paigambari ka haqq ada na kiya. Allah tumko logon ke sharr se bachaane wala hai. Yaqeen rakkho ke woh kafiron ko (tumhare muqable mein) kamiyabi ki raah hargiz na dikhayega

قُلۡ يٰۤـاَهۡلَ الۡـكِتٰبِ لَسۡتُمۡ عَلٰى شَىۡءٍ حَتّٰى تُقِيۡمُوا التَّوۡرٰٮةَ وَالۡاِنۡجِيۡلَ وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡكُمۡ مِّنۡ رَّبِّكُمۡ​ ؕ وَلَيَزِيۡدَنَّ كَثِيۡرًا مِّنۡهُمۡ مَّاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡكَ مِنۡ رَّبِّكَ طُغۡيَانًا وَّكُفۡرًا​ۚ فَلَا تَاۡسَ عَلَى الۡقَوۡمِ الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ‏ ٦٨

Say to them: 'People of the Book! You have no solid ground to stand on unless you establish the Torah and the Gospel and all that had been revealed to you from your Lord. Indeed the message revealed to you from your Lord will aggravate insurgence and unbelief in many of them. So do not grieve for those who disbelieve.

Saaf kehdo ke “ Aey ehle kitaab! Tum hargiz kisi asal par nahin ho jab tak ke Taurat aur Injeel aur un dusri kitabon ko qayam na karo jo tumhare Rubb ki taraf se nazil ki gayi hain”. Zaroor hai ke yeh farmaan jo tumpar nazil kiya gaya hai inmein se aksar ki sarkashi aur inkar ko aur zyada badha dega, magar inkar karne walon ke haal par kuch afsos na karo

اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَالَّذِيۡنَ هَادُوۡا وَالصَّابِـُٔـوۡنَ وَالنَّصٰرٰى مَنۡ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالۡيَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًـا فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُوۡنَ‏ ٦٩

(Know well, none has an exclusive claim to the Truth.) For all those who believe in Allah and in the Last Day and do good deeds - be they either believers, Jews, Sabaeans or Christians - neither fear shall fall upon them, nor shall they have any reason to grieve.

yaqeen jaano ke yahan ijara (exclusive claim to the truth) kisi ka bhi nahin hai) musalman ho ya yahudi, sabiy (sabiyans) hon ya Isayi (Christians), jo bhi Allah aur roz e aakhir par iman layega aur neik amal karega, beshak uske liye na kisi khauf ka muqaam hai na ranjj ka

لَقَدۡ اَخَذۡنَا مِيۡثَاقَ بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ وَاَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡهِمۡ رُسُلًا ؕ كُلَّمَا جَآءَهُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌ ۢ بِمَا لَا تَهۡوٰٓى اَنۡفُسُهُمۙۡ فَرِيۡقًا كَذَّبُوۡا وَفَرِيۡقًا يَّقۡتُلُوۡنَ‏ ٧٠

And We took a covenant from the Children of Israel and sent to them many Messengers. But whenever any Messenger brought to them something that did not suit their desires, they gave the lie to some of them and killed the others,

Humne bani Israel se pukhta ahad liya aur unki taraf bahut se Rasool bheje, magar jab kabhi unke paas koi Rasool unki khwahishat e nafs ke khilaf kuch lekar aaya to kisi ko unhon ne jhutlaya aur kisi ko qatal kardiya

وَحَسِبُوۡۤا اَلَّا تَكُوۡنَ فِتۡنَةٌ فَعَمُوۡا وَصَمُّوۡا ثُمَّ تَابَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ثُمَّ عَمُوۡا وَصَمُّوۡا كَثِيۡرٌ مِّنۡهُمۡ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ بَصِيۡرٌۢ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏ ٧١

thinking that no harm would come from it. Thus they became blind and deaf (to the Truth). Thereafter Allah turned towards them in gracious forgiveness; but many of them became even more deaf and blind (to the Truth). Allah sees all that they do.

Aur apne nazdeek yeh samajhe ke koi fitna runama na hoga, isliye andhey aur behre ban gaye, phir Allah ne unhein maaf kiya to unmein se aksar log aur zyada andhey aur behre bantey chale gaye. Allah unki yeh sab harakaat dekhta raha hai

لَقَدۡ كَفَرَ الَّذِيۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الۡمَسِيۡحُ ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ​ ؕ وَقَالَ الۡمَسِيۡحُ يٰبَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ اعۡبُدُوا اللّٰهَ رَبِّىۡ وَرَبَّكُمۡ​ ؕ اِنَّهٗ مَنۡ يُّشۡرِكۡ بِاللّٰهِ فَقَدۡ حَرَّمَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡهِ الۡجَـنَّةَ وَمَاۡوٰٮهُ النَّارُ​ ؕ وَمَا لِلظّٰلِمِيۡنَ مِنۡ اَنۡصَارٍ‏ ٧٢

And surely they disbelieved when they said: 'Christ, the son of Mary, is indeed God'; whereas Christ had said: 'Children of Israel! Serve Allah, Who is your Lord and my Lord.' Allah has forbidden Paradise to those who associate anything with Him in His divinity and their refuge shall be the Fire. No one will be able to help such wrong-doers.

Yaqeenan kufr kiya un logon ne jinhon ne kaha ke Allah Maseeh ibne Mariyam hi hai, halanke Maseeh ne kaha tha ke “ aey bani Israel! Allah ki bandagi karo jo mera Rubb bhi hai aur tumhara Rubb bhi”. Jisne Allah ke saath kisi ko shareek thehraya uspar Allah ne Jannat haraam kardi aur uska thikana jahannum hai aur aisey zaalimon ka koi madadgaar nahin

لَـقَدۡ كَفَرَ الَّذِيۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلٰثَةٍ​ ۘ وَمَا مِنۡ اِلٰهٍ اِلَّاۤ اِلٰـهٌ وَّاحِدٌ  ؕ وَاِنۡ لَّمۡ يَنۡتَهُوۡا عَمَّا يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ لَيَمَسَّنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡهُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَ لِيۡمٌ‏ ٧٣

Those who said: 'Allah is one of the Three', certainly they disbelieved, for there is no god save the One God. And if they do not give up this claim, all who have disbelieved among them shall be subjected to painful chastisement.

Yaqeenan kufr kiya un logon ne jinhon ne kaha ke Allah teen (trinity)mein ka ek hai, halaanke ek khuda ke siwa koi khuda nahin hai. Agar yeh log apni in baaton se baaz na aaye to inmein se jis jisne kufr kiya hai usko dardnaak saza di jayegi

اَفَلَا يَتُوۡبُوۡنَ اِلَى اللّٰهِ وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡنَهٗ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ‏ ٧٤

Will they not, then, turn to Allah in repentance, and ask for His forgiveness? Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate.

Phir kya yeh Allah se tauba na karenge aur ussey maafi na maangenge? Allah bahut darguzar farmane wala aur reham karne wala hai

مَا الۡمَسِيۡحُ ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ اِلَّا رَسُوۡلٌ​ ۚ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِ الرُّسُلُؕ وَاُمُّهٗ صِدِّيۡقَةٌ​  ؕ كَانَا يَاۡكُلٰنِ الطَّعَامَ​ؕ اُنْظُرۡ كَيۡفَ نُبَيِّنُ لَهُمُ الۡاٰيٰتِ ثُمَّ انْظُرۡ اَ نّٰى يُؤۡفَكُوۡنَ‏ ٧٥

The Messiah, son of Mary, was no more than a Messenger before whom many Messengers have passed away; and his mother adhered wholly to truthfulness, and they both ate food (as other mortals do). See how We make Our signs clear to them; and see where they are turning away!

Maseeh ibne Mariyam iske siwa kuch nahin ke bas ek Rasool tha, ussey pehle aur bhi bahut se Rasool guzar chuke thay, uski Maa ek raast-baaz(righteous) aurat thi, aur woh dono khana khate thay, dekho hum kis tarah inke saamne haqeeqat ki nishaniyan wazeh karte hain, phir dekho yeh kidhar ulte phire jatey hain

قُلۡ اَ تَعۡبُدُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا يَمۡلِكُ لَـكُمۡ ضَرًّا وَّلَا نَفۡعًا ​ؕ وَاللّٰهُ هُوَ السَّمِيۡعُ الۡعَلِيۡمُ‏ ٧٦

Say: 'Do you serve, beside Allah, that which has no power either to harm or benefit you, whereas Allah alone is All-Hearing, All-Knowing?'

Insey kaho, kya tum Allah ko chodh kar uski parastish karte ho jo na tumhare liye nuqsaan ka ikhtiyar rakhta hai na nafey ka? Halanke sabki sunney wala aur sabkuch jaanne wala to Allah hi hai

قُلۡ يٰۤـاَهۡلَ الۡـكِتٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُوۡا فِىۡ دِيۡـنِكُمۡ غَيۡرَ الۡحَـقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوۡۤا اَهۡوَآءَ قَوۡمٍ قَدۡ ضَلُّوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ وَاَضَلُّوۡا كَثِيۡرًا وَّضَلُّوۡا عَنۡ سَوَآءِ السَّبِيۡلِ‏ ٧٧

Say: 'People of the Book! Do not go beyond bounds in your religion at the cost of truth, and do not follow the caprices of the people who fell into error before, and caused others to go astray, and strayed far away from the right path.

Kaho, aey ehle kitab! Apne deen mein na-haqq ghulu (go beyond bounds/ commit excess) na karo aur un logon ke taqelaat (inclinations/khwahishat) ki pairwi na karo jo tumse pehle khud gumraah huey aur bahuton ko gumrah kiya, aur “ sawa e sabeel (right path)” se bhatak gaye

لُعِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡۢ بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ عَلٰى لِسَانِ دَاوٗدَ وَعِيۡسَى ابۡنِ مَرۡيَمَ​ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَّكَانُوۡا يَعۡتَدُوۡنَ‏ ٧٨

Those of the Children of Israel who took to unbelief have been cursed by the tongue of David and Jesus, son of Mary, for they rebelled and exceeded the bounds of right.

كَانُوۡا لَا يَتَـنَاهَوۡنَ عَنۡ مُّنۡكَرٍ فَعَلُوۡهُ ​ؕ لَبِئۡسَ مَا كَانُوۡا يَفۡعَلُوۡنَ‏ ٧٩

They did not forbid each other from committing the abominable deeds they committed. Indeed what they did was evil.

Unhon ne ek dusre ko burey afaal ke irteqab se roakna chodh diya tha, bura tarz e amal tha jo unhon ne ikhtiyar kiya

تَرٰى كَثِيۡرًا مِّنۡهُمۡ يَتَوَلَّوۡنَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا​ؕ لَبِئۡسَ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ لَهُمۡ اَنۡفُسُهُمۡ اَنۡ سَخِطَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَفِى الۡعَذَابِ هُمۡ خٰلِدُوۡنَ‏ ٨٠

And now you can see many of them taking the unbelievers (instead of the believers) for their allies. Indeed they have prepared evil for themselves. Allah is angry with them, and they shall abide in chastisement.

Aaj tum unmein ba-kasrat aisey log dekhte ho jo (ehle iman ke muqable mein) kuffar ki himayat o rafaqat karte hain, yaqeenan bahut bura anjaam hai jiski tayyari unke nafson ne unke liye ki hai. Allah unpar gazab-naak ho gaya hai aur woh daimi azaab mein mubtila honay waley hain

وَلَوۡ كَانُوۡا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالنَّبِىِّ وَمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡهِ مَا اتَّخَذُوۡهُمۡ اَوۡلِيَآءَ وَلٰـكِنَّ كَثِيۡرًا مِّنۡهُمۡ فٰسِقُوۡنَ‏ ٨١

For had they truly believed in Allah and the Messenger and what was sent down to him, they would not have taken unbelievers (instead of believers) for their allies. But many of them have rebelled against Allah altogether.

Agar fil-waqayi yeh log Allah aur paigambar aur us cheez ke maanne waley hotay jo paigmbar par nazil hui thi to kabhi (ehle iman ke muqable mein) kafiron ko apna rafeeq na banate, magar inmein se to beshtar log khuda ki itaat se nikal chuke hain

لَـتَجِدَنَّ اَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّـلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا الۡيَهُوۡدَ وَالَّذِيۡنَ اَشۡرَكُوۡا​ ۚ وَلَـتَجِدَنَّ اَ قۡرَبَهُمۡ مَّوَدَّةً لِّـلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا الَّذِيۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّا نَصٰرٰى​ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ بِاَنَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قِسِّيۡسِيۡنَ وَرُهۡبَانًا وَّاَنَّهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَكۡبِرُوۡنَ‏ ٨٢

Of all men you will find the Jews and those who associate others with Allah in His divinity to be the most hostile to those who believe; and you will surely find that of ail people they who say: 'We are Christians', are closest to feeling affection for those who believe. This is because there are worshipful priests and monks among them, and because they are not arrogant.

Tum ehle iman ki adawat (dushmani) mein sabse zyada sakht yahud aur mushrikeen ko paogey, aur iman laney walon ke liye dosti mein qareeb-tar un logon ko paogey jinhon ne kaha tha ke hum nasara (Christians) hain, is wajah se ke unmein ibadat-guzaar aalim aur tareek ud duniya fakeer (monks) paye jatey hain aur unmein guroor e nafs (arrogant) nahin hai

وَاِذَا سَمِعُوۡا مَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَى الرَّسُوۡلِ تَرٰٓى اَعۡيُنَهُمۡ تَفِيۡضُ مِنَ الدَّمۡعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُوۡا مِنَ الۡحَـقِّ​ۚ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ رَبَّنَاۤ اٰمَنَّا فَاكۡتُبۡنَا مَعَ الشّٰهِدِيۡنَ‏ ٨٣

And when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger you see that their eyes overflow with tears because of the Truth that they recognize and they say: 'Our Lord! We do believe; write us down, therefore, with those who bear witness (to the Truth).

Jab woh us kalaam ko sunte hain jo Rasool par utara hai to tum dekhte ho ke haqq shanasi(recognize truth) ke asar se unki aankhein aansuon (tears) se tarr ho jati hain, woh bol uthte hain ke “ parwardigar! Hum iman laye, hamara naam gawahi dene walon mein likh le”

وَمَا لَـنَا لَا نُؤۡمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ الۡحَـقِّۙ وَنَطۡمَعُ اَنۡ يُّدۡخِلَـنَا رَبُّنَا مَعَ الۡقَوۡمِ الصّٰلِحِيۡنَ‏ ٨٤

And why should we not believe in Allah and the Truth which has come down to us when we do fervently desire that our Lord include us among the righteous?'

Aur woh kehte hain ke “ aakhir kyun na hum Allah par iman layein aur jo haqq hamare paas aaya hai usey kyun na maan lein, jabke hum is baat ki khwahish rakhte hain ke hamara Rubb humein saleh logon mein shamil karey?”

فَاَثَابَهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِمَا قَالُوۡا جَنّٰتٍ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَا​ ؕ وَذٰ لِكَ جَزَآءُ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ‏ ٨٥

So Allah rewarded them for these words with Gardens beneath which rivers flow so that they would abide there for ever. Such is the reward of the people who do good.

Unke is qaul ki wajah se Allah ne unko aisi jannatein ata ki jinke nichey nehrein behti hain aur woh unmein hamesha rahenge. Yeh jaza hai neik rawayya ikhtiyar karne walon ke liye

وَالَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَكَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَاۤ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡجَحِيۡمِ‏  ٨٦

Those who disbelieved and gave the lie to Our signs are rightfully the inmates of the Blazing Flame.

Rahey woh log jinhon ne hamari aayat ko maanne se inkar kiya aur unhein jhutlaya, to woh jahannum ke mustahiq hain

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تُحَرِّمُوۡا طَيِّبٰتِ مَاۤ اَحَلَّ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمۡ وَلَا تَعۡتَدُوۡا​ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الۡمُعۡتَدِيۡنَ‏  ٨٧

Believers! Do not hold as unlawful the good things which Allah has made lawful to you, and do not exceed the bounds of right. Allah does not love those who transgress the bounds of right.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, jo paak cheezein Allah ne tumhare liye halal ki hain unhein haram na karlo aur hadd se tajawuz na karo, Allah ko zyadati karne waley sakht napasand hain

وَكُلُوۡا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ اللّٰهُ حَلٰلًا طَيِّبًا​ وَّ اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡـتُمۡ بِهٖ مُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ‏ ٨٨

And partake of the lawful, good things which Allah has provided you as sustenance, and refrain from disobeying Allah in Whom you believe.

Jo kuch halaal o tayyab rizq Allah ne tumko diya hai usey khao peo aur us khuda ki nafarmani se bachte raho jispar tum iman laye ho

لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِاللَّغۡوِ فِىۡۤ اَيۡمَانِكُمۡ وَلٰـكِنۡ يُّؤَاخِذُكُمۡ بِمَا عَقَّدْتُّمُ الۡاَيۡمَانَ​ ۚ فَكَفَّارَتُهٗۤ اِطۡعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسٰكِيۡنَ مِنۡ اَوۡسَطِ مَا تُطۡعِمُوۡنَ اَهۡلِيۡكُمۡ اَوۡ كِسۡوَتُهُمۡ اَوۡ تَحۡرِيۡرُ رَقَبَةٍ​ ؕ فَمَنۡ لَّمۡ يَجِدۡ فَصِيَامُ ثَلٰثَةِ اَيَّامٍ​ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ كَفَّارَةُ اَيۡمَانِكُمۡ اِذَا حَلَفۡتُمۡ​ ؕ وَاحۡفَظُوۡۤا اَيۡمَانَكُمۡ​ ؕ كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُوۡنَ‏ ٨٩

Allah does not take you to task for the oaths you utter vainly, but He will certainly take you to task for the oaths you have sworn in earnest. The expiation (for breaking such oaths) is either to feed ten needy persons with more or less the same food as you are wont to give to your families, or to clothe them, or to set free from bondage the neck of one man; and he who does not find the means shall fast for three days. This shall be the expiation for your oaths whenever you have sworn (and broken them.) But do keep your oaths. Thus does Allah make clear to you His commandments; maybe you will be grateful.

Tum log jo mohmal (utter vainly) kasamein kha lete ho unpar Allah giraft nahin karta, magar jo kasamein tum jaan boojh kar khate ho unpar woh tumse zaroor mawaqeza (take you to task) karega. (Aisi kasam toadne ka) kaffara yeh hai ke dus miskeeno ko woh awsat (average) darje ka khana khilao jo tum apne baal bacchon ko khilate ho, ya unhein kapde pehnao, ya ek gulaam azad karo, aur jo iski istitaat (capability) na rakhta ho woh teen din ke roze rakkhe. Yeh tumhari kasamon ka kaffara hai jabke tum kasam kha kar toad do. Apni kasamon ki hifazat kiya karo, is tarah Allah apne ehkaam tumhare liye wazeh karta hai shayad ke tum shukar ada karo

يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اِنَّمَا الۡخَمۡرُ وَالۡمَيۡسِرُ وَالۡاَنۡصَابُ وَالۡاَزۡلَامُ رِجۡسٌ مِّنۡ عَمَلِ الشَّيۡطٰنِ فَاجۡتَنِبُوۡهُ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُوۡنَ‏  ٩٠

Believers! Intoxicants, games of chance, idolatrous sacrifices at altars, and divining arrows are all abominations, the handiwork of Satan. So turn wholly away from it that you may attain to true success.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho , yeh sharab(intoxication) aur juwa (gambling) aur yeh aastaane[(dedication of) stones] aur paasein [(divination by) arrows], yeh sab gandey shaytaani kaam hain, insey parheiz karo, umeed hain ke tumhein falaah naseeb hogi

اِنَّمَا يُرِيۡدُ الشَّيۡطٰنُ اَنۡ يُّوۡقِعَ بَيۡنَكُمُ الۡعَدَاوَةَ وَالۡبَغۡضَآءَ فِى الۡخَمۡرِ وَالۡمَيۡسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمۡ عَنۡ ذِكۡرِ اللّٰهِ وَعَنِ الصَّلٰوةِ​ ۚ فَهَلۡ اَنۡـتُمۡ مُّنۡتَهُوۡنَ‏ ٩١

By intoxicants and games of chance Satan only desires to create enmity and hatred between you, and to turn you away from the remembrance of Allah and from Prayer. Will you, then, desist?

Shaytan to yeh chahta hai ke sharab aur juwey ke zariye se tumhare darmiyan adawat aur bugz (enmity and hatred) daal de aur tumhein khuda ki yaad se aur namaz se roak de, phir kya tum in cheezon se baaz rahogey

وَاَطِيۡعُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيۡعُوا الرَّسُوۡلَ وَاحۡذَرُوۡا​ ۚ فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ فَاعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّمَا عَلٰى رَسُوۡلِنَا الۡبَلٰغُ الۡمُبِيۡنُ‏ ٩٢

Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and beware. But if you turn away, then know well that Our Messenger had merely to deliver the message clearly.

Allah aur uske Rasool ki baat maano aur baaz aa jao, lekin agar tumne hukum adauli ki (if you turn back) to jaan lo ke hamare Rasool par bas saaf saaf hukum panhuncha dene ki zimmedari thi

لَـيۡسَ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ جُنَاحٌ فِيۡمَا طَعِمُوۡۤا اِذَا مَا اتَّقَوا وَّاٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ ثُمَّ اتَّقَوا وَّاٰمَنُوۡا ثُمَّ اتَّقَوا وَّاَحۡسَنُوۡا​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ‏  ٩٣

There will be no blame on those who believe and do righteous deeds for whatever they might have partaken (in the past) as long as they refrain from things prohibited, and persist in their belief and do righteous deeds, and continue to refrain from whatever is forbidden and submit to divine commandments, and persevere in doing good, fearing Allah. Allah loves those who do good.

Jo log iman le aaye aur neik amal karne lagey unhon ne pehle jo kuch khaya piya tha uspar koi giraft na hogi, bashart-e-ke woh aainda un cheezon se bachey rahein jo haraam ki gayi hain aur iman par sabit qadam rahein aur acchey kaam karein. Phir jis jis cheez se roka jaye ussey rukein aur jo farmaan e ilahi ho usey maanein, phir khuda tarsi ke saath neik rawayya rakkhein, Allah neik kirdar logon ko pasand karta hai

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَيَبۡلُوَنَّكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِشَىۡءٍ مِّنَ الصَّيۡدِ تَنَالُـهٗۤ اَيۡدِيۡكُمۡ وَ رِمَاحُكُمۡ لِيَـعۡلَمَ اللّٰهُ مَنۡ يَّخَافُهٗ بِالۡـغَيۡبِ​ ۚ فَمَنِ اعۡتَدٰى بَعۡدَ ذٰ لِكَ فَلَهٗ عَذَابٌ اَ لِيۡمٌ‏ ٩٤

Believers! Allah will surely try you with a game which will be within the range of your hands and lances so that He might mark out those who fear Him, even though He is beyond the reach of human perception. A painful chastisement awaits whosoever transgresses after that the bounds set by Allah.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, Allah tumhein us shikar ke zariye se sakht aazmaish mein daalega jo bilkul tumhare haathon aur neizon(lances) ki zadh mein hoga, yeh dekhne ke liye ke tum mein se kaun ussey gayibana darta hai, phir jisne is tambeeh (warning) ke baad Allah ki muqarrar ki hui hadh se tajawuz kiya uske liye dardnaak saza hai

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَقۡتُلُوا الصَّيۡدَ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ حُرُمٌ​ ؕ وَمَنۡ قَتَلَهٗ مِنۡكُمۡ مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآءٌ مِّثۡلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ النَّعَمِ يَحۡكُمُ بِهٖ ذَوَا عَدۡلٍ مِّنۡكُمۡ هَدۡيًاۢ بٰلِغَ الۡـكَعۡبَةِ اَوۡ كَفَّارَةٌ طَعَامُ مَسٰكِيۡنَ اَوۡ عَدۡلُ ذٰ لِكَ صِيَامًا لِّيَذُوۡقَ وَبَالَ اَمۡرِهٖ​ ؕ عَفَا اللّٰهُ عَمَّا سَلَفَ​ ؕ وَمَنۡ عَادَ فَيَنۡتَقِمُ اللّٰهُ مِنۡهُ​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَزِيۡزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ‏ ٩٥

Believers! Do not kill game while you are in the state of pilgrim sanctity. Whoever of you kills it wilfully there shall be a recompense, the like of what he has killed in cattle - as shall be judged by two men of equity among you - to be brought to the Ka'bah as an offering, or as an expiation the feeding of the needy, or its equivalent in fasting in order that he may taste the grievousness of his deed. Allah has pardoned whatever has passed; but Allah will exact a penalty from him who repeats it. Allah is All-Mighty. He is fully capable of exacting penalties.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho! Ehram ki halat mein shikar na maaro, aur agar tum mein se koi jaan boojh kar aisa kar guzre to jo jaanwar usne maara ho usi ke hum pala (similar) ek jaanwar usi maweshiyon mein se nazar dena hoga, jiska faisla tum mein se do aadil (just) aadmi karenge, aur yeh nazarana Kaaba pahunchaya jayega, ya nahin to is gunaah ke kaffare mein chandh miskeeno ko khana khilana hoga, ya iske ba-qadr roze rakhne honge, taa-ke woh apne kiye ka maza chakkhey, pehle jo kuch ho chukka usey Allah ne maaf kardiya, lekin ab agar kisi ne is harkat ka iaada kiya to ussey Allah badla lega, Allah sab par gaalib hai aur badla lene ki taaqat rakhta hai

اُحِلَّ لَـكُمۡ صَيۡدُ الۡبَحۡرِ وَطَعَامُهٗ مَتَاعًا لَّـكُمۡ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ​ ۚ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ صَيۡدُ الۡبَـرِّ مَا دُمۡتُمۡ حُرُمًا​ ؕ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ الَّذِىۡۤ اِلَيۡهِ تُحۡشَرُوۡنَ‏ ٩٦

The game of the water and eating thereof are permitted to you as a provision for you (who are settled) and for those on a journey; but to hunt on land while you are in the state of Pilgrim sanctity is forbidden for you. Beware, then, of disobeying Allah to Whom you shall all be mustered.

Tumhare liye samandar ka shikar aur uska khana halaal kardiya gaya, jahan tum thehro wahan bhi usey kha sakte ho aur kafilay(travellers) ke liye zaad-e-raah bhi bana sakte ho. Albatta khushki(land) ka shikar jab tak tum ehram ki halat mein ho tumpar haraam kiya gaya hai. Pas bacho us khuda ki nafarmani se jiski peshi mein tum sabko gher kar haazir kiya jayega

جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ الۡـكَعۡبَةَ الۡبَيۡتَ الۡحَـرَامَ قِيٰمًا لِّـلنَّاسِ وَالشَّهۡرَ الۡحَـرَامَ وَالۡهَدۡىَ وَالۡقَلَاۤٮِٕدَ​ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ لِتَعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَعۡلَمُ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ بِكُلِّ شَىۡءٍ عَلِيۡمٌ‏ ٩٧

Allah has appointed the Ka'bah, the Sacred House, as a means of support for (the collective life of) men, and has caused the holy month (of Pilgrimage), and the animals of sacrificial of-fering and their distinguishing collars to assist therein. This is so that you may know that Allah is aware of all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth; and that Allah has knowledge of everything.

Allah ne makaan e mohtaram, Kaaba ko logon ke liye (ijtimayi zindagi ke) qayam ka zariya banaya aur maah e haraam aur qurbani ke jaanwaron aur qaladon[garlands (by which they are identified)] ko bhi (is kaam mein muawin bana diya) taa-ke tumhein maloom ho jaye ke Allah aasmaano aur zameen ke sab haalaat se bakhabar hai aur usey har cheez ka ilam hai

اِعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ شَدِيۡدُ الۡعِقَابِ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ ؕ‏ ٩٨

Know well that Allah is severe in retribution, and that Allah is also All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate.

Khabardar ho jao!Allah saza dene mein bhi sakht hai aur iske saath bahut darguzar aur reham bhi karne wala hai

مَا عَلَى الرَّسُوۡلِ اِلَّا الۡبَلٰغُ​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ يَعۡلَمُ مَا تُبۡدُوۡنَ وَمَا تَكۡتُمُوۡنَ‏ ٩٩

The Messenger is bound only to deliver the message, whereafter Allah knows well all that you disclose and all that you conceal.

Rasool par to sirf paigam pahuncha dene ki zimmedari hai, aagey tumhare khule aur chupe sab halaat ka jaanne wala Allah hai

قُلْ لَّا يَسۡتَوِى الۡخَبِيۡثُ وَالطَّيِّبُ وَلَوۡ اَعۡجَبَكَ كَثۡرَةُ الۡخَبِيۡثِ​ ۚ فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ يٰۤاُولِى الۡاَ لۡبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُوۡنَ‏ ١٠٠

(O Messenger!) Say to them: "The bad things and the good things are not equal, even though the abundance of the bad things might make you pleased with them. Men of understanding, beware of disobeying Allah; then maybe you will attain true success.'

(Aey paigambar!) insey kehdo ke paak aur napaak bahar haal yaksan nahin hain, khwa napaak ki bohtaat (abundance) tumhein kitni hi farifta (pleased) karne wali ho. Pas aey logon jo aqal rakhte ho! Allah ki nafarmani se bachte raho, umeed hai ke tumhein falaah naseeb hogi

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَسۡـــَٔلُوۡا عَنۡ اَشۡيَآءَ اِنۡ تُبۡدَ لَـكُمۡ تَسُؤۡكُمۡ​ۚ وَاِنۡ تَسۡــَٔـلُوۡا عَنۡهَا حِيۡنَ يُنَزَّلُ الۡقُرۡاٰنُ تُبۡدَ لَـكُمۡ ؕ عَفَا اللّٰهُ عَنۡهَا​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوۡرٌ حَلِيۡمٌ‏ ١٠١

Believers! Do not ask of the things which, if made manifest to you, would vex you; for, if you should ask about them while the Qur'an is being revealed, they will be made manifest to you. Allah has pardoned whatever happened in the past. He is All-Forgiving, All-Forbearing.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, aisi baatein na pucha karo jo tumpar zaahir kardi jayein to tumhein nagawaar hon, lekin agar tum unhein aise waqt puchoge jab ke Quran nazil ho raha ho to woh tumpar khol di jayengi, ab tak jo kuch tumne kiya usey Allah ne maaf kardiya, woh darguzar karne wala aur burdbaar(All-Forbearing) hai

قَدۡ سَاَ لَهَا قَوۡمٌ مِّنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡ ثُمَّ اَصۡبَحُوۡا بِهَا كٰفِرِيۡنَ‏  ١٠٢

Indeed some people before you had asked such questions and in consequence fell into unbelief.

Tumse pehle ek giroh ne isi qism ke sawalaat kiye thay, phir woh log inhi baaton ki wajah se kufr mein mubtala ho gaye

مَا جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ مِنۡۢ بَحِيۡرَةٍ وَّلَا سَآٮِٕبَةٍ وَّلَا وَصِيۡلَةٍ وَّلَا حَامٍ​ ۙ وَّلٰـكِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا يَفۡتَرُوۡنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ الۡـكَذِبَ​ ؕ وَاَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُوۡنَ‏ ١٠٣

Allah has neither appointed (cattle devoted to idols such as) Bahirah, Sa'ibah, Wasilah nor Ham;but those who disbelieve forge lies against Allah and of them most have no understanding (and therefore succumb to such superstitions).

Allah ne koi Bahirah (cattle devoted to idols) muqarrar kiya hai na Saiba(a she-camel let loose for free pasture for their false gods, e.g. idols, etc) aur na wasilah (a she-camel set free for idols because it has given birth to a she-camel at its first delivery) aur na Ham (a stallion-camel freed from work for their idols, after it had finished a number of copulations assigned for it) magar yeh kafir Allah par jhooti tohmat lagate hain aur inmein se aksar be-aqal hain (kahan aisey wahamiyat ko maan rahey hain)

وَاِذَا قِيۡلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡا اِلٰى مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ وَاِلَى الرَّسُوۡلِ قَالُوۡا حَسۡبُنَا مَا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ اٰبَآءَنَا​ ؕ اَوَلَوۡ كَانَ اٰبَآؤُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ شَيۡــًٔـا وَّلَا يَهۡتَدُوۡنَ‏ ١٠٤

When they are asked: 'Come to what Allah has revealed, and come to the Messenger', they reply: 'The way of our refathers suffices us.' (Will they continue to follow their forefathers) even though their forefathers might have known nothing, and might have been on the wrong way?

Aur jab inse kaha jata hai ke aao us kanoon ki taraf jo Allah ne nazil kiya hai aur aao paigambar ki taraf, to woh jawab dete hain ke hamare liye to bas wahi tareeqa kaafi hai jispar humne apne baap dada ko paya hai. Kya yeh baap dada hi ki taqleed kiye chale jayenge khwa woh kuch na jaante hon aur saheeh raaste ki unhein khabar hi na ho

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا عَلَيۡكُمۡ اَنۡفُسَكُمۡ​ۚ لَا يَضُرُّكُمۡ مَّنۡ ضَلَّ اِذَا اهۡتَدَيۡتُمۡ​ ؕ اِلَى اللّٰهِ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ جَمِيۡعًا فَيُـنَـبِّـئُكُمۡ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏ ١٠٥

Believers! Take heed of your own selves. If you are rightly guided, the error of he who strays will not harm you. To Allah will all of you return; then He will let all of you know what you did.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, apni fikr karo, kisi dusre ki gumraahi se tumhara kuch nahin bigadta agar tum khud raah e raast par ho, Allah ki taraf tum sab ko palat kar jana hai, phir woh tumhein bata dega ke tum kya karte rahey ho

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا شَهَادَةُ بَيۡنِكُمۡ اِذَا حَضَرَ اَحَدَكُمُ الۡمَوۡتُ حِيۡنَ الۡوَصِيَّةِ اثۡـنٰنِ ذَوَا عَدۡلٍ مِّنۡكُمۡ اَوۡ اٰخَرَانِ مِنۡ غَيۡـرِكُمۡ اِنۡ اَنۡـتُمۡ ضَرَبۡتُمۡ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَاَصَابَتۡكُمۡ مُّصِيۡبَةُ الۡمَوۡتِ​ ؕ تَحۡبِسُوۡنَهُمَا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ الصَّلٰوةِ فَيُقۡسِمٰنِ بِاللّٰهِ اِنِ ارۡتَبۡتُمۡ لَا نَشۡتَرِىۡ بِهٖ ثَمَنًا وَّلَوۡ كَانَ ذَا قُرۡبٰى​ ۙ وَلَا نَـكۡتُمُ شَهَادَةَ ۙ اللّٰهِ اِنَّاۤ اِذًا لَّمِنَ الۡاٰثِمِيۡنَ‏ ١٠٦

Believers! When death approaches you, let two men of equity among you act as witnesses when you make your bequest; or let two of those from others than yourselves act as witnesses if you are on a journey when the affliction of death befalls you. Then if any doubt occurs you shall detain both of them (in the mosque) after the Prayer, and they shall swear by Allah: 'We shall neither sell our testimony in return for any gain even though it concerns any near of kin nor shall we conceal our testimony which we owe to Allah, for then we should become among sinners.' .

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, jab tum mein se kisi ki maut ka waqt aa jaye aur woh wasiyat kar raha ho to uske liye shahadat ka nisab yeh hai ke tumhari jamaat mein se do (two) sahib-e-adal aadmi gawah banaye jayein, ya agar tum safar ki halat mein ho aur wahan maut ki museebat pesh aa jaye to gair muslimon hi mein se do gawah le liye jaye. Phir agar koi shakk padh jaye to namaz ke baad dono gawahon ko (masjid mein) roak liya jaye aur woh khuda ki kasam kha kar kahein ke “hum kisi zaati faiyde ke evaz shahadat bechne waley nahin hain, aur khwa koi hamara rishtedaar hi kyun na ho ( hum uski riayat karne waley nahin) aur na khuda waste ki gawahi ko hum chupane waley hain, agar humne aisa kiya to gunaah-gaaron mein shumar hongey”

فَاِنۡ عُثِرَ عَلٰٓى اَنَّهُمَا اسۡتَحَقَّاۤ اِثۡمًا فَاٰخَرٰنِ يَقُوۡمٰنِ مَقَامَهُمَا مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اسۡتَحَقَّ عَلَيۡهِمُ الۡاَوۡلَيٰنِ فَيُقۡسِمٰنِ بِاللّٰهِ لَشَهَادَتُنَاۤ اَحَقُّ مِنۡ شَهَادَتِهِمَا وَ مَا اعۡتَدَيۡنَاۤ​ ​ۖ  اِنَّاۤ​ اِذًا لَّمِنَ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ‏ ١٠٧

Then if it is discovered later that the two are guilty of such sin, then two others shall stand in their place from among those against whom the two had sinfully deposed, and swear by Allah: 'Our testimony is truer than the testimony of the other two, and we have not transgressed in our statement; for then indeed we would become wrong-doers.'

Lekin agar pata chal jaye ke in dono ne apne aap ko gunaah mein mubtila kiya hai to phir inki jagah do aur shaks jo inki ba-nisbat shahadat dene ke liye ehal-tar hon un logon mein se khade hon jinki haqq talfi hui ho, aur who khuda ki qasam kha kar kahen ke “hamari shahadat unki shahadat se zyada bar-haqq hai aur humne apni gawahi mein koi zyadati nahin ki hai, agar hum aisa karein to zalimon mein se hongey”

ذٰ لِكَ اَدۡنٰٓى اَنۡ يَّاۡتُوۡا بِالشَّهَادَةِ عَلٰى وَجۡهِهَاۤ اَوۡ يَخَافُوۡۤا اَنۡ تُرَدَّ اَيۡمَانٌۢ بَعۡدَ اَيۡمَانِهِمۡ​ؕ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاسۡمَعُوۡا​ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهۡدِى الۡقَوۡمَ الۡفٰسِقِيۡنَ‏ ١٠٨

Thus it is more likely that they will either bear the right testimony or else they will at least fear that their oaths may be rebutted by other oaths. Have fear of Allah and pay heed. Allah does not direct the disobedient to the right way.

Is tareeqe se zyada tawaqqu ki ja sakti hai ke log theek theek shahadat denge, ya kam az kam is baat hi ka khauff karenge ke unki kasamon ke baad dusri kasamon se kahin unki tardeed na ho jaye. Allah se daro aur suno, Allah nafarmani karne walon ko apni rehnumayi se mehroom kar deta nahin hai

يَوۡمَ يَجۡمَعُ اللّٰهُ الرُّسُلَ فَيَقُوۡلُ مَاذَاۤ اُجِبۡتُمۡ​ ؕ قَالُوۡا لَا عِلۡمَ لَـنَا ؕ اِنَّكَ اَنۡتَ عَلَّامُ الۡغُيُوۡبِ‏ ١٠٩

The Day when Allah will gather together the Messengers and say: 'What answer were you given?' They will reply: 'We have no real knowledge of it. You alone fully know all that lies beyond the reach of human perception.

Jis roz Allah sab Rasoolon ko jamaa karke puchega ke tumhein kya jawab diya gaya hai, to woh arz karenge ke humein kuch ilm nahin, aap hi tamaam posheeda(hidden) haqeeqaton ko jaante hain

​اِذۡ قَالَ اللّٰهُ يٰعِيۡسَى ابۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ اذۡكُرۡ نِعۡمَتِىۡ عَلَيۡكَ وَعَلٰى وَالِدَتِكَ​ ۘ اِذۡ اَيَّدتُّكَ بِرُوۡحِ الۡقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِىۡ الۡمَهۡدِ وَكَهۡلًا ​ ۚوَاِذۡ عَلَّمۡتُكَ الۡـكِتٰبَ وَالۡحِكۡمَةَ وَالتَّوۡرٰٮةَ وَالۡاِنۡجِيۡلَ​ ۚ وَاِذۡ تَخۡلُقُ مِنَ الطِّيۡنِ كَهَيۡــَٔـةِ الطَّيۡرِ بِاِذۡنِىۡ فَتَـنۡفُخُ فِيۡهَا فَتَكُوۡنُ طَيۡرًۢا بِاِذۡنِىۡ​ وَ تُبۡرِئُ الۡاَكۡمَهَ وَالۡاَبۡرَصَ بِاِذۡنِىۡ​ ۚ وَاِذۡ تُخۡرِجُ الۡمَوۡتٰى بِاِذۡنِىۡ​ ۚ وَاِذۡ كَفَفۡتُ بَنِىۡۤ اِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ عَنۡكَ اِذۡ جِئۡتَهُمۡ بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ فَقَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡهُمۡ اِنۡ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا سِحۡرٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ‏ ١١٠

Imagine, then, when Allah will say: 'Jesus, son of Mary, recall My favour upon you and your mother, and when I strengthened you with the spirit of holiness so that you talked to men in the cradle and also when you became of age; and when I taught you the Book and Wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel; and when, by My leave, you fashioned from clay the likeness of a bird and you breathed into it, and by My leave it became a bird; you healed, by My leave, the blind from birth and the leprous; and when, by My leave, you caused the dead to come to life. And recall when I restrained the Israelites from you when you came to them with clear proofs whereupon those of them who disbelieved said: "This is nothing but clear magic."

Phir tasawwur karo us mauqe ka jab Allah farmayega ke “Aey Maryam ke bete Isa! Yaad kar meri us niyamat ko jo maine tujhey aur teri Maa ko ata ki thi, maine rooh-e-paak se teri madad ki, tu gehware (cradle) mein bhi logon se baat karta tha aur badi umar ko pahunch kar bhi. Maine tujhko kitaab aur hikmat aur Taurat aur injil ki taleem di, tu mere hukum se mitti ka putla parinde ki shakal ka banata aur us mein phoonkta tha aur woh mere hukum se parinda ban jata tha, tu madar-zaad (by birth) andhey(blind) aur kodhi (leper) ko mere hukum se accha karta tha, tu murdon ko mere hukum se nikalta tha. Phir jab tu bani Israel ke paas sareeh nishaniyan lekar pahunhca aur jo log un mein se munkir e haqq thay unhon ne kaha ke yeh nishaniyan jaadugari ke siwa aur kuch nahin hain, to maine hi tujhey unsey bachaya

وَ اِذۡ اَوۡحَيۡتُ اِلَى الۡحَـوَارِيّٖنَ اَنۡ اٰمِنُوۡا بِىۡ وَبِرَسُوۡلِىۡ​ۚ قَالُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا وَاشۡهَدۡ بِاَنَّـنَا مُسۡلِمُوۡنَ‏ ١١١

And recall when I revealed to the disciples to believe in Me and in My Mes-senger, they said: "We do believe, and we bear witness that we indeed are the ones who submit to Allah"

Aur jab maine hawariyon (disciples) ko ishara kiya ke mujhpar aur mere Rasool par iman lao, tab unhon ne kaha ke “ hum iman laye aur gawah raho ke hum muslim hain”

اِذۡ قَالَ الۡحَـوَارِيُّوۡنَ يٰعِيۡسَى ابۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ هَلۡ يَسۡتَطِيۡعُ رَبُّكَ اَنۡ يُّنَزِّلَ عَلَيۡنَا مَآٮِٕدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ​ ؕ قَالَ اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ مُّؤۡمِنِيۡنَ‏ ١١٢

Also recall when the disciples asked Jesus, son of Mary: 'Jesus, son of Mary, has your Lord the power to send down to us a repast from the heaven?' There- upon Jesus said: 'Fear Allah if you do indeed have faith.'

(Hawariyon ke silsile mein) yeh waqia bhi yaad rahey ke jab hawariyon ne kaha, Aey Isa ibne Mariyam! Kya aap ka Rubb humpar aasmaan se khane ka ek khwan (table spread) utar sakta hai? To Isa ne kaha Allah se daro agar tum momin ho

قَالُوۡا نُرِيۡدُ اَنۡ نَّاۡكُلَ مِنۡهَا وَتَطۡمَٮِٕنَّ قُلُوۡبُنَا وَنَـعۡلَمَ اَنۡ قَدۡ صَدَقۡتَـنَا وَنَكُوۡنَ عَلَيۡهَا مِنَ الشّٰهِدِيۡنَ‏ ١١٣

They said: 'We desire to partake of it that our hearts be satisfied and we know that you did speak the truth to us, and that we are its witnesses.'

Unhon ne kaha hum bas yeh chahte hain ke is khwan se khana khayein aur hamare dil mutmaeen (staisfied) hon aur humein maloom ho jaye ke aap ne jo kuch humse kaha hai woh sach hai aur hum ispar gawah hon

قَالَ عِيۡسَى ابۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ اللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّنَاۤ اَنۡزِلۡ عَلَيۡنَا مَآٮِٕدَةً مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ تَكُوۡنُ لَـنَا عِيۡدًا لِّاَوَّلِنَا وَاٰخِرِنَا وَاٰيَةً مِّنۡكَ​ۚ وَارۡزُقۡنَا وَاَنۡتَ خَيۡرُ الرّٰزِقِيۡنَ‏ ١١٤

Jesus, son of Mary, then prayed: 'O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a repast from the heavens that shall be a festival for the first of us and for the last of us, and a sign from You. And provide us with sustenance, for You are the best Provider of sustenance.'

Ispar Isa ibn-e-Mariyam ne dua ki “ khudaya ! hamare Rubb! Humpar aasman se ek khwan nazil kar jo hamare liye aur hamare aglon pichlon ke liye khushi ka mauqa qaraar paye aur teri taraf se ek nishani ho, humko rizq de aur tu behtareen raziq hai”

قَالَ اللّٰهُ اِنِّىۡ مُنَزِّلُهَا عَلَيۡكُمۡ​ۚ فَمَنۡ يَّكۡفُرۡ بَعۡدُ مِنۡكُمۡ فَاِنِّىۡۤ اُعَذِّبُهٗ عَذَابًا لَّاۤ اُعَذِّبُهٗۤ اَحَدًا مِّنَ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ‏  ١١٥

Allah said: 'I shall indeed send it down to you; then, I shall afflict whoever among you who disbelieves with a chastisement wherewith I will afflict none in the worlds.'

Allah ne jawab dia “ main usko tumpar nazil karne wala hoon , magar uske baad jo tum mein se kufr karega usey main aisi saza dunga jo duniya mein kisi ko na di hogi”

وَاِذۡ قَالَ اللّٰهُ يٰعِيۡسَى ابۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ ءَاَنۡتَ قُلۡتَ لِلنَّاسِ اتَّخِذُوۡنِىۡ وَاُمِّىَ اِلٰهَيۡنِ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ​ؕ قَالَ سُبۡحٰنَكَ مَا يَكُوۡنُ لِىۡۤ اَنۡ اَقُوۡلَ مَا لَـيۡسَ لِىۡ بِحَقٍّ​ؕ اِنۡ كُنۡتُ قُلۡتُهٗ فَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَهٗ​ؕ تَعۡلَمُ مَا فِىۡ نَفۡسِىۡ وَلَاۤ اَعۡلَمُ مَا فِىۡ نَفۡسِكَ​ؕ اِنَّكَ اَنۡتَ عَلَّامُ الۡغُيُوۡبِ‏  ١١٦

And imagine when thereafter Allah will say: 'Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to people: "Take me and my mother for gods beside Allah?" and he will answer: "Glory to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right to. Had I said so, You would surely have known it. You know all what is within my mind whereas I do not know what is within Yours. You, indeed You, know fully all that is beyond the reach of human perception.

Garz jab ( yeh ehsanaat yaad dilakar) Allah farmayega ke “aey Isa ibn-e-Mariyam kya tu nay logon se kaha tha ke khuda ke siwa mujhey aur meri Maa ko bhi khuda bana lo?” To woh jawab mein arz karega ke “ Suban Allah! Mera yeh kaam na tha ke woh baat kehta jiske kehne ka mujhey haqq na tha, agar maine aisi baat kahi hoti, to aapko zaroor ilm hota, aap jaante hain jo kuch mere dil mein hai aur main nahin jaanta jo kuch aapke dil mein hai, aap to saari poshida haqeeqaton ke aalim hain

مَا قُلۡتُ لَهُمۡ اِلَّا مَاۤ اَمَرۡتَنِىۡ بِهٖۤ اَنِ اعۡبُدُوا اللّٰهَ رَبِّىۡ وَرَبَّكُمۡ​ۚ وَكُنۡتُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ شَهِيۡدًا مَّا دُمۡتُ فِيۡهِمۡ​ۚ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيۡتَنِىۡ كُنۡتَ اَنۡتَ الرَّقِيۡبَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ​ؕ وَاَنۡتَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ شَهِيۡدٌ‏ ١١٧

I said to them nothing except what You commanded me, that is: 'Serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord.' I watched over them as long as I remained among them; and when You did recall me, then You Yourself became the Watcher over them. Indeed, You are Witness over everything.

Maine unse uske siwa kuch nahin kaha jiska aapne hukum diya tha, yeh ke Allah ki bandagi karo jo mera Rubb bhi hai aur tumhara Rubb bhi, main usi waqt tak unka nigraan tha jab tak ke main unke darmiyan tha, jab aapne mujhey wapas bula liya to aap unpar nigraan thay aur aap to saari hi cheezon par nigraan hain

اِنۡ تُعَذِّبۡهُمۡ فَاِنَّهُمۡ عِبَادُكَ​ۚ وَاِنۡ تَغۡفِرۡ لَهُمۡ فَاِنَّكَ اَنۡتَ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ‏ ١١٨

If You chastise them, they are Your servants; and if You forgive them, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."'

Ab agar aap unhein saza dein to woh aapke banday hain aur agar maaf kardein to aap galib aur dana hain”

قَالَ اللّٰهُ هٰذَا يَوۡمُ يَـنۡفَعُ الصّٰدِقِيۡنَ صِدۡقُهُمۡ​ؕ لَهُمۡ جَنّٰتٌ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهَا الۡاَنۡهٰرُ خٰلِدِيۡنَ فِيۡهَاۤ اَبَدًا​ ؕ رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَرَضُوۡا عَنۡهُ​ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ الۡـفَوۡزُ الۡعَظِيۡمُ‏ ١١٩

Thereupon Allah will say: 'This day truthfulness shall profit the truthful. For them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow. There they will abide for ever. Allah is well- pleased with them, and they well-pleased with Allah. That indeed is the mighty triumph.'

Tab Allah farmayega “ yeh woh din hai jismein sacchon ko unki sachhayi nafa deti hai, unke liye aisey baagh hain jinke nichey nehrein beh rahi hain, yahan woh hamesha rahenge, Allah unse razi hua aur woh Allah se, yahi badi kamiyabi hai”

لِلّٰهِ مُلۡكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا فِيۡهِنَّ​ ؕ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ‏ ١٢٠

To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them and He has full power over everything.

Zameeen aur aasmano aur tamaam maujoodaat ki baadshahi Allah hi ke liye hai aur woh har cheez par qudrat rakhta hai

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱبْتَغُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ ٱلْوَسِيلَةَ وَجَـٰهِدُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ٣٥

Believers! Fear Allah and seek the means to come near to Him, and strive hard in His way; maybe you will attain true success.

Aey logon jo iman laye ho, Allah se daro aur uski janib baaryabi (closeness) ka zariya talash karo, aur uski raah mein jidd o jahad karo, shayad ke tumhein kamiyabi naseeb ho jaye
